Maddux says in the World Series recap video that Lofton did him a favor by taking the extra base and scoring because it cleared the bases and allowed him to just concentrate on getting the last out without the added distraction of Lofton standing behind him at 2nd base.

Jack onderisin but if ya notice they are just as stupid as today's commercials, something I noticed that's not being discussed or even noticed is the amount of commercials the last 2 years with almost exclusively black people, it's like white people are now bad, i'm dead serious, do the experiment, it's staggering, ad companies just dont flip a switch like that, so it's intentional
