As an Australian UK prices are INSANELY cheap. I can't believe any of them. For example, a quick search on carsales shows me that the cheapest Z4 in the whole country is nearly $12,000.

Look, I absolutely hate the comparisons people draw to Clarkson, Hammond and May anytime 3 dudes get together and do an automotive video on TH-cam. I'm usually the one mocking those people. But in this case, it can't be ignored.. Alex, Taylor & Rory have the most authentic chemistry I've seen since the C,H,M era.
This has become one of my favourite car channels and it's because the cars don't really matter. It's the chemistry, the banter, enthusiasm and unique personalities that matter. This channel has it all :)

As a Z4 si owner I approve. Please do change the shocks, springs, bushings, brakes and braided lines, good tires and you've got a proper car there. It actually looks pretty decent for 1.5k good buy that

Borla makes a very nice system for N52s that gives you a nice balanced sound and it doesn't deafen you when you daily it. I have it on my E90 328i and I love it!
The failed ABS pump is probably just a cracked ABS-ring. They are press fitted over the driveshafts in the rear, and with a bit of rust over time that expands the ring they tend to crack. You can get new rings for cheap, clean up the driveshaft and press the new ring on. Worst case it has eaten the sensor too, but thats pretty simple too.
I'm quite confident to say this is the best car TH-cam channel out there!! if you were the new top gear, you would have succeeded! let Clarkson do his farm! this is my new top gear!!
My mk1 Z4 convertible is still the car I regret selling the most- not the fastest, not the most well built ( a lot of rattles and squeaks, 2 failed roof motors in 4 years), definitely not practical in any way but it's the one that felt special to get in every time, it sounded brilliant and still looks great- particularly in that coupe style. Just a really unique design and definitely among the best of the Chris Bangle era.
From so many decent cars that you can buy with 2k you bought only junk cars! I couldn't find any junk like that even if I struggle. I have a Honda Civic for a run-around that I bought for 850 and it's the most reliable car I ever owned (out of probably 50 cars owned).
