Underrated? If you drive it yearlong in the Northern hemisphere it will rust. Rust in places you can't see until it's too late.

I currently have a 2010 plate fabia MK2 with the 1.9 TDI engine. I wonder if mapping that and doing some basics like EGR delete would make it better than the previous mark VRS? :)
Honest carly review:
Carly is overall pretty good, they're smart mechanic is really useful and the diagnostic tool is really good.
In terms of coding, bmw is best and will allow literally 100s of features, vag group are a bit crap with not many options on roughly 2010+ models, but my mrs' fabia (2018 plate) had loads of options, no subaru coding, but really cool to have and a good diagnostic tool if nothing else.
Price is quite steep at 180 quid a year iirc
Loving the content @autoalex Would love another Fabia VRS, mine drove like a stabbed rat and pretty much did a tonne everywhere (in Mexico) and would not go below 40mpg 👌🏻 premium budget diesel motoring 😂

I bought a 2004 Scion xa for $500 awhile ago. Had a flaky remote starter. Haha. $5 fix. Sold it for $2600. Had it for 1 week. 3-4 hrs labor?

I want to start off by saying I am stupid ,
The more I write this the more I realise just how stupid I am. I recently brought a Hyundai Getz 1.6 for £1250 because I'm an idiot and despite having eyes I brought the car cash and thought it just needed a couple of tyres and a window seal. The test drive was fine the car starts okay and drives and stop however it pulls to the left is drinking fuel and is very very low on power after taking on an actual drive. I've done less than 40 miles and just know something is not right with it.
When I brought the car the bloke that sold it me came back out from his yard and put water in it ( I was outside insuring and taxing the car) he then asked for the paperwork to add details or something and when I went in to get it then told me it's sold as seen and there's no warranty on it.
After driving it home I knew I'd fucked up badly they are obviously refusing a refund. I'm not here asking for anything more than advice from people knowledgeable about lemons.
I also understand posting this here probably means I'm gonna get some stick and rightly so but if anyone wants to offer any advice that can help me I'd really appreciate it.
I get the train to work anyway but currently need a car as I have a baby boy on the way and that's the main reason for buying a car I wanted to be the one to pick him up from hospital and take him and his mom to anything else they are going to need.

I really love those Videos where you try to find a budget XYZ car. In my opinion you don't necessarily have to keep them all but fix them up a bit and then might sell them for a profit?
You could make a video each for simple fixes that improve the value of your car.
