I love these types of videos. Part installs are the best in my opinion.
Make sure to not have the handbrake pulled when you do the rear brakes, otherwise you'll be smacking the rotor with a hammer for a long time thinking it's rusted... i know from a friend... :D
A A RON from the Z1 crew came through ONCE again. Love these guys.
Wish they had a Z1 in Rochester NY.
This is a video I absolutely wanted.
Will be coming back and watching it again at least three more times 😂😅
this is legendary, I really want this kit
Excellent video very informative
Well done great video
Lol i did this to day and let me tell you, did not go as easily as this 😂. My car is from up north and every thing that needed to be taken off was seized. Love the street z1 break kit though, looks so great
Did you spray penetrating fluid and let it sit?
Thoes are beautiful
Nice parts Z1! 👍🏽But for me the Akebono brakes will suffice.😁
I need these brakes in my life! Also need to get rid of my Chase Bays dual piston booster delete… the thing is hot garbage.
Missed opportunity with the bracket to rotate the calipers forward for less knock back.
If my g37 already came with akebonos can I just get the front set 6 piston.. and use my oem front 4piston on the rear ..?
how heavy are the track 380mm rotors vs the akebono 355mm rotors?
Any chance these fit 07/08 G35 Sport Sedans?
Can I put this on my q70l?
Should i buy z1 brake lines or oem sufficient?
Are there any new power mods coming for the DE engine? I'd love a supercharger kit from this decade (a la your 370 kit)
Yep, hang in there DE kits are in the works.
What's the weight of the z1 disk...and the z1 caliber
I’m new to the Z. Any chance this would fit a Z32 (I read it’s specific to the 350)? If not, what’s comparable?
yes it will fit, you might have to get a caliper bracket for the 300zx to GTR conversion kit
What about the brake master cylinder?
So far so good with balance and modulation in our street and track testing with the factory master cylinder
Will stock 18 inch wheels clear this kit? Otherwise will I have to get 19 inch rims?
We actually have a clearance template you can print out and check in your wheels to see before purchasing. Just look for the link in the listing www.z1motorsports.com/brake-kits/z1-motorsports/z1-350z-g35-track-big-brake-kit-front-and-rear-p-47435.html
I would get 19 to be safe. Just got this kit with 19 will be installing tomorrow.
Was wondering this too, did you ever find out?
@cipher1893 I got these, and you will need 19 Inc wheels.
