stunning fish .. all i have to catch around me is Salmon,bass,and carp , nothing as big as these fish .i would love someday to enjoy a 2 or 3 hour fight with a huge fish .

Wow, impressive stuff solo, mate. I thought number two was going to end in tears for sure, once you were caught up around the stern. But you kept your cool and got the reward. you mentioned the bottom depth, but what depth were the fish at, do you know? It sounded like the first one, at least, were well up in the water column.

That’s pretty interesting, here in south Florida we catch black fins on the bottom all the time while fishing for blue line tilefish from 450-600’ and golden from 600-1000’ on the bottom with tile rigs. You know when you got one too. Sometimes we get sharks but a lot of times yea black fin on the bottom. Get a MOB wireless kill switch.

I've noticed that your camera that you have mounted on the boat doesn't roll with the boat, the horizon is always horizontal. Is that done in post or with some kind of gimbal mount? And thanks for some really nice content! I really enjoy your videos!

I know the feeling of excitement when throwing heavy metal and getting one like that. YFT get up and go. Only thing better is sight casting a popper or flying fish lure to them on the surface. They watch the airborne flying fish and will be there when it hits the water. Glad to see you w/o the coffee grinder. A revolving spool reel has a far better drag system.
And stop giving him a break he's he's healthy he's great good compared to you I bet your arms feel like you're going to fall off we got it 50 pounder

You scare me when those hooks are still in the fish when you are handling the fish. For someone who has visited emergency to remove a hook, and seen my father in-law be flown from a fishing adventure to the base hospital with a nasty hook implant, hooks freak me. Be safe.

Fought for almost 2hrs against a 9ftish white tip in hawaii. I feel so much better about how tired I was after seeing this.
This video highlights very well, the aspect of feeding the village. I'm from Alberta, Canada and last fall I was able to do a similar act with what turned out to be a great hunting season that ended with me bagging 2 whitetail bucks, a cow elk, and a monster bull moose.
Being the 'baby' of the family, I was so happy to be able to provide venison to my older relatives and a couple of friends who couldn't go hunting for themselves.
Now if only there was only a way to trade some elk or moose for some tuna... lol.
I’d love to be able to come on a trip with you! YFT has been at the top of my list for a long time and I still haven’t been able to get out to try and get one. Don’t think my boat would make it but even if I did I wouldn’t be able to find them. Only have a basic setup sounder wise. Great video none the less mate keep up the good work 🤙🏽
