Love how the lady detective didn't take sht from JS and that other creeeeep, SS. I don't even like saying their names. Also, I don't like how MALE detectives in law enforcement potentially get off seeing child crime pics. I also think it's a bit cringe that our society allows MALE doctors to look at female bodies...including GYN/Obstetrics. There needs to be legislation on these issues.

And remember, Jen has known this man for 7 years at least. It's safe to say she probably has an idea of what kind of man he is. She should have come up with a better story bc this whole I needed a good rest nonsense narrative really just shows how guilty she actually is.

As a former child protection investigator there are any number of red flags from the mother’s statements. On that jumped out to me was the mother saying her daughter was “forgetful”; that Madeline would “lost track of time” and take showers over an hour long. No mom, she was obsessively washing off the filth that she experienced from the sexual abuse. This is a common behavior of abused children and teens.

    • @pearreemason1179

How could a mother be so completely ignorant unless it’s willful? It goes against every basic instinct built into the fibers of a mother. “No Jenn, your daughter is in the shower because your boyfriend can lock her in the bathroom with him for an hour.” 😠 Poor Madeline, nobody was protecting her. Not even her own mother.

Yes, but don't think that just because a dog exhibits excitement or submissive urination that it _automatically means they're being abused or "sensing someone's negative energy."_ It's actually quite a common behavior in many dogs, especially puppies and then with the right training, they grow out of it, but some never do. You can Google excitement/submissive urination in dogs.
I'm saying this as a certified dog trainer with over 20 years of continued education and experience. I just don't want y'all to think that someone is a "bad person" because their dog exhibits a common behavior for dogs. This guy was a monster no doubt, but some dogs just have this urination behavior naturally. Some breeds are very prone to having it like Cocker Spaniels for example.

Why don't you ask him? He dropped my daughter off last and you're not seeing any of that. And then you said your daughter has ADHD and other learning disability problems. So why were you so hard on her and putting her on the punishment when clearly it's a disability she's dealing with. So you would have been more caring as a mom knowing she had these disabilities but yet you were hard on her . Then you let her sleep in the bed with your boyfriend. If Madeline had to sleep in her bed it would be in the middle of all the traffic in the living room. Her daughter’s grades tanked, she was sleeping in class- and Jen needed a good nights sleep. I have to share this personal story. When my daughter was around 14 she told me that her dad was picking her up to spend time with her over at his apartment. She went outside to wait for him. I was waiting up for her and it was getting very, very late. I called her father to ask him when he was going to take her back home and he told me that he didn’t see her this evening. So, he suggested I call the police.
I was beside myself. Not far after I called the police she came in the door.
I remember just being hysterical with her because this never happened before.
Based on her age and my reaction I can’t believe how calm and unfazed her mother is.

If Jenn was not even dating Stephan then why did he show up practically out of nowhere? They act like they are coparenting. And like their house runs like a well oiled machine. Why didn’t either one of them go to Maddie’s party? What did they give Maddie for her birthday? What was so special that brought Stephan over? Even an iou is something better than nothing for a gift. I get times are tough but she could have wrote her note. Something anything. I think maybe Maddie was feeling more strength to put a stop to her abuse. Maybe she fought back and wasn’t that submissive child she once was. I think they maybe started to worry about the truth coming out. I bet she was more adult than either one of her so called parents.

Listening to the "mother" talk to investigators about her missing child as if it is just another day and talking about any normal subject makes me sick. Where is the concern, empathy, saddness, beating down doors to get help (like any mother who did not know their man did this) would be doing. She needs to be behind bars. No immunity, no plea deals. "I dropped her off, i mean we dropped her off by the school". " will you take her phone forever" that is a ended statement that she knew her daughter wasn't comming back. Her diary about severe trauma when encountering any male broke my heart. Mom not protecting her has gone on for a very long time. Stephen may not have been the first that mom was trafficking her daughter up to men. Your concern should be your daughter NOT how you are going to find a place to stay while the crime tech go in to take pictures. "I don't know, I fell asleep" your daughter is missing but you went to bed. This woman infuriates me.
