I love how on Oni's Ultra 2 the announcer doesn't even say K O because you just straight up *murder* your opponent
Same with all Raging Demons in the game.
Also his first Ultra, Oni laughs diabolically at the end if you finish the round with it
Hard for the announcer to say anything when he has already fled for his life.

Balrog's super is still one of my favorites for how character defining it is.
He's a dirty boxer, so he headbutts you, stomps your foot, and elbows the hell outta you only to shrug like nothing's wrong.
The ultra truly conveys it so well.

It's not an elbow, just a mean hook.
Yeah, the point of the stomp is to hold the opponent in place for the sucker punch. It's very, very dirty boxing.

What makes this Super so effective to me, isn’t just Oni’s speech, the camera work, or even the strike or sound effect
*It’s the dead silence after the move ends that really brings it home for me.*
It's as if the game is saying, "You just murdered your opponent. We have no words."

Cinematically it may be bad but you can put it into a lot of follow ups like DP focus cancel forward dash U2 so it's not that bad same going for other fireball ultras

It's a parody of haoh shokouken, the finisher of snk's Ryu mimic, Ryo.
Dan's fireball look terrible because he throws them with one hand. He has tried to skip directly to one handed fireballs when only characters that have mastered the technique can do that. (akuma and Nash, one handed vs ryu and guile, two handed) akuma and gouken are so good at the technique that when they uses two hands they are capable of either summoning a short lived fireball, charge for a more powerful version or use it in the air!

@@inquity6 Yeah that's one of the main reasons I love it. Ippo turns from a bullied nobody into a beast, then gets recognized by everyone when he becomes champion and makes lifelong friends at the gym. It's also realistic with the impact all those brawls have on him which lead to him retiring. I'm still not a fan of that part, I feel like he should have challenged Ricardo first then retired.

USF4 will forever be one of my favorites of all time, this and UMVC3 were my everything in the 360 era
I want to say you're right. I bought a PS4 SOLELY for SFV and I've been disappointed. Only the new characters and returning favorites save the game but SFV just isn't fun to play. Killer Instinct and MK11 have been my everything this generation but USFIV was definitely the best fighter last gen

Juri’s feng shui engine has no cinematic, but god damn the hype surrounding that thing is so good I would’ve given a point just for the insane combo potential.

agreed El Fuerte is a fun character, his second super is one of my favorites. Seeing him turn into a helicopter is hilarious and a great build up to the climax of his super.
He's a good boy. If you haven't looked up "El Fuerte Show," it's the origin of the popoffs at the beginning of high level Fuerte mirrors.

@@CheiDaFrio I mean I already have it and have since at least 2014 if not longer, but I don't know if you would want to get it now as it won't be updated and it's online isn't going to be super populated.
If that doesn't deter you and you have people to play with go ahead. It is a fun and great looking game though its graphics have aged. Games don't really have an expiration date so as long as you find it fun or interesting it will be worth it.

Its Metsu Hadouken, Shinku is the super version. The metsu version of both Ryu's ultras is where he taps into his Satsui no Hado a little to up the damage
In sf3 Ryu's supers are the exact same as gouken's in this game. Signifying that Ryu has overcome the hado he used in sf4

Not gonna lie, watching Street Fighter 4 footage again gives me the feels of playibg the game again and for some reason, the visuals and everything is far more pleasing to watch than Street Fighter 5.
The transition from clear SF4 to fuzzy max is making my eyes hurt.
Watching this just makes me sad because Juri's costume here is so much better than in SFV.
she has literally the same costume in SFV with sleeves. Those sleeves can be removed with the easter egg code, making the costume the exact same as in 4.

Oni’s super is probably one of the best ones because of how cinematic it is, and how it looks so freaking good.

A very consistent rating through all the video, congrats! Hard to see in that kind of vids. Also, it was very funny for me to try to do my rate before yours and giving the exact rating as you at least half the time xD. The one which we disagree the most (3 points away) is one of Juri's (the lame one, but not SO lame man!).
The camera work here really adds to the impact.

Honestly i never realized how el fuerte's second super is a reference to kinnikuman's final technique, the muscle spark. At least with that arm/leg lock mid air in the end.
