I honestly expected his friendship to be him ALMOST killing you. Like, he beats you to a broken mess, but then stops right before the killing blow, turns, and looks at the camera and as the opponent slowly crawls away; "What? I didn't KILL him, did I? FRIENDSHIP~!" Definitely don't hate the way the actual friendship went, though.
It's a nice nod to the fact that Joker listens somewhat to Batman. Just "Ughh fine but only because YOU are the one asking"

Syndel’s could’ve been way better if they had her legitimately singing opera (and being surprisingly great at it), she gets to a high note in the song, does her banshee scream, breaks the camera len in the process, and finally takes a bow as an offscreen audience cheers and throws roses at Syndel, having her catch a bouquet of roses and wave at the crowd.
What a missed opportunity
could've had her scream... in excitement as a hair dryer chair is there and she gets her hair done as the friendship. still simple and brings in both her known traits.

Given that filters on photo apps are RARELY the same - especially in a time where snapchat was in its prime - that's kinda perfect.
Not 10/10, but easily bumps it to a 6 or 7 in my mind. Wow, okay props for being a neat touch that makes a ton of sense.

That's why it's so good even though it's simple. Scorpion is that one character who you'd expect to be filled with anger, anguish, etc. so seeing him smile while hugging something innocent like a teddy bear is unusual yet satisfying.

Most of these make sense: Joker's was *almost* a Fatality. Spawn's is risque, true to form with him being from Image Comics. Sub-Zero makes Blueberry ice cream. And Sindel's somehow makes her look more like a bitch than NetherRealm already made her.
The reason skarlet made a painting was because, her voice actress actually is an artists her self.

Scorpion's friendship is a call back to Mortal Kombat 9. In the challenge tower, one of challenges is to defeat Mileena because she made Scorpion a teddy bear, but Scorpion stated that he hates teddies. Looks like Mileena changed his mind lol. It was hilarious because in MK9 the mission objective was "Defend your right to hate teddies" lmao

I think it is actually quite good. The idea is that that some people - especially good singers - can break a glass with their voice. Naturally, you think Sindel would do that, especially as she hurts people by screaming - except she cracks the camera rather than the glass and just downs the wine.
My favorite friendships are absolutely the ones where the character uses their explicit superpowers constructively instead of murderously.
Also, I feel like the one for Sindel would work better if it was an actual opera wail rather than her usual banshee shriek. Could also stand to be held for a bit longer.
