I love the large club. Used to use it with the guardian tail whip offhand as both a tool to parry and hit parry spammers. Club normal upgrade, whip chaos for chip damage on shields, both building poison. Egg head fashion is fantastc too!
@@_Bunger_ whips seem terrible at first, but main hand tracking is worse than offhand. That's where they 'shine'....I mean the damage isn't great, but it is fun and that's what matters.
i will always respect darksouls for making the simple weapons the most reliable well rounded, easy to use, and versatile they are in spirit true ports of real world weapons into darksouls' logic

Great club might have a tiny bit more damage and a more useful r2, but it's not as aesthetically pleasing to me as the large club. Wielding the butcher's knife in the other hand? That's an interesting build. It's too bad ds1 doesn't have proper dual wielding like the other games in the series.
