- 24 college apps (whoops) later, here is my college decision reaction vid!
in the end, the college application process is more of a lottery now than it ever was, but it all worked out in the end. :)

Congrats! I am very impressed with your mature decision to take the full ride instead of an Ivy. Nothing sets you up life better than entering adulthood without debt.

Congrats on your acceptances! It is such an honor to be accepted or even waitlisted at Ivies, however, they do not give out merit aid. Graduating debt-free is the best possible outcome! Congrats again and good luck at Duke!

Congratulations so proud and happy for you! A full ride, what a blessing!!! Ive seen other videos where kids get full rides to great schools but then will get into an ivy and choose the ivy just because its an ivy. I would scream at them through my phone 😂 like you are seriously passing on a full ride just because you got into Princeton?

reminded me of my niece who graduated fm Brown two years ago. Got into Stanford CS this year . She got accepted at 8/8 schools for her grad school.

Congrats, as someone who had tons of grad school loan debt, you made a great decision! Some people get too lured by the big names to think clearly. Not that Duke is anything to scoff at. Many students would kill to get there and you got a full ride and a very challenging field. I am a graduate of UIUC engineering and proud to see a charismatic and smart woman go into an engineering major.

Also, Why did you apply to UC-Merced? Most students, even in CA, do not apply or wish to go there. Just curious.
As international student, i got accepted many colleges and got rejected Duke,yale and Columbia .

yes, the common app allows teachers to submit a general recommendation and then you can select which teacher's letter to submit to which colleges!
