    This is the most simplest DIY I have done during this pandemic. Today is my third time following the instructions. The first time I tried it, I tripled the measurements except the sugar(to the minimal) because all my family members wants to have a taste and it came out perfect. They all loved it. Thank you.

    Hi, thank you for this amazing recipe! I skipped the nut bit & also took 1/4 of flour out after reading some comments about the texture being hard. So mine came out absolutely delicious, it took almost an hour to bake in the oven & a tiny bit burnt, apart from that, I think I did well for a first timer! Thanks for sharing girl!!! I tried in the cooker, despite many people telling me it was a waste.
    So, it definitely wasn't a soft texture like the one shown, because that's an oven cake and I got a very moist textute in between.
    What I did was I used only 1 cup of wheat and added milk when the batter was too thick. And Overall, the taste is pretty good.
    Definitely not exactly, but I liked it.

I followed each and every step as mentioned in the video, first of all the batter was too thick and then after 35 min when i checked the cake, it was undercooked. You can definitely bake it this way... But I'm not sure about the recipe

    • @reetigaula
      @reetigaula 4 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      Nope. It’s not a lie. I do not have an oven in my kitchen. But I frequently use this method to bake breads and cakes. Things you should have are: a big enough kadai to put the baking tray in without getting your hands burnt, and a wire rack or something similar to place the tray on. What you should do is preheat the kadai for about 5-10 minutes before putting the tray in. That’s it. You needn’t even put sand or salt in the kadai like when you do while using the cooker. And there would be no steam when you open the lid, since we are not putting water in the kadai when we are baking. That being said, this is no way to talk to somebody. If you are doubtful about the method, you can 1. politely enquire about it to the content creator without being derogatory, 2. research about the method in other videos in TH-cam (which is one of the reasons why we use this platform, isn’t it?) or other platforms, 3. ask other bakers or enthusiasts in the comment section about the same, just like you did here but in a nicer way. We should know this by now, shouldn’t we? Do we really need this negativity right now?
