They would have to host it early enough that when the event was over they still had time to donate the left over toys to a secondary organization like toys for tots?
Also, it’s my understanding that a lot of organizations simply warehouse the toys year over a year. So you donate a toy for this year it’s likely it will get to a kid next holiday season.
