When I traveled last week to the Philippines, I had a Letter of Introduction from our Grand Secretary, and showed the Tiler my dues card QR code. The Tiler commented that our Grand Lodge website looks great and welcomed me into the lodge. I'll have to check out this Amity though.
Nevada protocol is to have your lodge secretary contact the GL Grand Secretary who will then contact the GL Grand Secretary in the jurisdiction you will be visiting.
That is still the case! Many jurisdictions also ask for proof of current membership, which is possible with electronic dues cards like Amity's. Either way, this video is talking about the Scottish Rite, SJ where Amity is the official dues card!
Just a little note... I don't think the postal services deliver in my area because I only recieved the first Coin/Pin. Since then nothing 😢 Unless if the post office IS deciding to collect merch😅😂❤.
I think the comments on how lodges can get starlink and trying to put it as the lodge doesn't want to get with the times isn't a helpful way to look at the problem. There is a number of lodges that honestly are barely open. There is a number of lodges on the outside of the lodge it looks horrible. I dare you to go and look at all the lodges in your state on Google maps. And you likely will find in poorer places they aren't kept up. The fault IMO falls on the GL. Basically it isn't being forced to keep up the outside of the lodge, regularly cut their grass, remove rust stains, etc. And with that, if the GL isn't forcing these basic things. Why would they force the local lodge to get with the times or to push for them to increase their dues to be able to. I've personally seen it where the GL in a few states push hard over numbers above everything else. They push for quantity and not quality. In fact they don't want quality because it prevents bragging rights on having x amount of members.
I just spent some time digging into Amity, and it looks like it could be extremely helpful. I have the same challenge as others here have noted - our Lodge doesn't have internet, and most of our Brothers don't have email addresses. Technology beyond a landline is beyond most of them. Are you offering video tutorials or similar I could reference? As Senior Warden I've been following each of our Lodge meetings with instructional presentations, and it would be great if I could give the Lodge additional instruction here.
Once you log in on the app, there are videos you can share with others. Click the menu in the upper left and then scroll down to tutorials. I bet if you contact Jeremy, he will help get your lodge up to speed.
@@Never_Enough_Dogs my take on it is that the more people that use it, the better it will get. I contacted their support to get some lodge details corrected and they updated it super quickly.
I love Amity, but as High Priest (First Principle for those in the UK), when is the officer list going to be updated to include that office? EVERY other officer option is there, except for the one in the East.
The Signet Ring is another way to show your membership status, so that when you get to a Lodge, they know you're in good standing and that you can be admitted!
We don't have amity with you. However, we do have dual jurisdiction, and we can discuss it on another platform, of course concerning recognition, UGLE, ETC....
@@Oakdieu Just go online and search masonic lodges in your area. There's lots of info available. I found out that 2 guys I knew from school were grand Masters.

39% of your lodge is lying to you. LOL. Recent surveys show that across age groups 90% of US house holds, have email addresses. If they have cable and a cell phone? You can bet your butt they have email. But older Brothers hate spam the way Gen Z hates phone calls. They would rather you show up at their house than send an unwanted email. No idea why. In my lodge, I appealed to their sense of cheapness- if you don't switch to THIS and stop making us by stamps, we have to raise dues. Man...the FLOCKED to email. As for your other questions, send me an email and I will forward to jeremy.

I am excited for this, been using Amity since 2021! Great tool and way forward
My lodge now had Dues cards online to print out.
Here in the most worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge state of California we do both, we have a card and our members are on an app called Grandview.
Amity works with Grand View too

How do you recommend Amity’s Signet Ring for “passport sign in’s”, which is advertised in Amity’s “Recognition” tab?
The Signet Ring is another way to show your membership status, so that when you get to a Lodge, they know you're in good standing and that you can be admitted!

Brother, just click "Next"... your Grand Lodge doesn't require a certificate number in order to finish your registration.
@copiri-six thank you!
Amity was crazy helpful when I visited London last year
Great to learn!
Thanks Brother, we love to hear success stories like this!!
If you are so open why don’t you publish a public register of your names and occupations.
Most grand lodges do.
Have a nice day.

Could you create a video or give a deep explanation on why so many people still believe that Christians can't join Freemasonry? Thank you.
Already have.

Good day brethren! I have a couple questions about how this works. Who can i contact?
Never heard of Amity before.
Check it out.
My grandfather is 89 he cannot use a smart phone app.
He doesn't have to. No one is going to force anyone to use an app. But for most of us, its more convenient.
@ I just meant some members don’t have a clue how to use that technology.
For sure. But we can't stay in the past. Masonry IS progress and building. We won't leave anyone behind, but we have to move forward.
@ my grandfather is a 60+ year member and doesn’t get out too much anymore.
