Installed one on my bro's house yesterday . the tv is superb for its money . im a casual tv user and honestly , especially in HDR or dolby vision content i couldnt tell it apart from an oled . truly amazing .
We have ours ordered, and should be coming soon! I’m going to mount it on the wall, and I think it will be a perfect upgrade from our 65” Samsung curved TV. Would you happen to know exactly how far the mounting points on the TV are from the top and bottom? They look perfectly centered, but I just want to make sure, as I’d like to hang the mount before the TV arrives. Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated!
Just picked up the 55 incher yesterday for the bedroom. Suffice to say Ive only spent half a dozen hours fiddling around with settings and viewing but for the money I'm more than happy with everything. Paid $1195 AUD 21/2/24. Have it hooked up via Bluetooth to a Rotel A11 Tribute with Monitor Audio 100 Silver 7G speakers and whilst I won't get all the bells and whistles of Dolby, Colby, ring a ring a Rosie it certainly does pump out a better sound and so it should as near $3k AUD of audio jizz.
Cool video. I am using a 55 inch LG oled now and i have had it for couple of years - great TV 😊. Ps, ordered my first GaN charger and quite impressed so far. It's got a satisfying weight to it, and the pins fold for easy storage
Been always debating between OLED and other technologies that have been springing up. We have an LG OLED, and while we're not looking to change any time soon, so interesting to see whether these new technologies are better than OLED as with OLED there's the issue with auto-dimming, which makes some TV shows and movies obscenely darker than they should be.
Horses for courses these day's mate. Each has their best case viewing scenario ie. Ambient light, dark room etc etc. Fact is you're not going to find a 'bad' TV in the oled, qned, qled scene with any of the big 4-6 brands. It boils down to the mix of, budget and ultimately what your eyes as the end user find the best.
I still don't understand why BTheInstaller put this TV at the very bottom of his rankings list. I have it and I love it, it has many more picture/sound options than my Samsung Q80B.
A BMW 3-series Touring like yours fits 240cm lumber Patrick, speaking from experience, so this thin box shouldn't be too much of an issue. OK you have to throw out child seats, slide the front seats forward etc but for short distances its feasible. 😆
is this better than samsung qn 90c mini led? can't find a budget friendly mini led other than this and samsung qn90c only available in my country is only 50 inch is the largest one.

Why are you calling it the QNED86?. I checked online and on the LG website and there's no such product. There's a QNED80, QNED85, but no QNED86.
Because the European version is called QNED86. Apparently the numbering is different on different continents.
