Excellent review of a tv from LG you don't see anyone else review, at least I havent anyway. The QNED86 look's to be solidly built and the PQ look's to be damn good Spawn. It's a tv I would consider no questions asked if I didn't already own my excellent LG C1. Again excellent review Spawn and I signed up for your email updates. You rock buddy.
i recently just unsubscribed from a lot channels for too much noise and lack of educative content but mahn i just love watching your reviews even at times where i already have the product being reviewed lol... great job as always, love it. BIG TV.
I appreciate that. I know it’s tough to keep subscribed to all channels, and there’s not enough time to watch them all. So I’m grateful for your time today 🙌
Doubt that I'll upgrade from my C1 anytime soon but there's something satisfying about these types of videos lol your set up is a huge inspiration for me ngl.
Big tv this video was great I loved to see the tv and the stand for the tv looks really clean it was my favorite part of the tv but great video man keep up the great work
Can you push the tv limit in the review a little more? Like night room with light off and a dark game like horror maybe resident evil 4 to see how perfrom the mini led local dimming
I’ve had 3 OLED LG tvs which all broke on me so this is the exact tv I have bought and can’t wait to check it out when it arrives soon great video thank you.
Good spot. Yes only this year I’ve started buying the odd physical game. To be honest I’ve done this for the games that I think I’ll sell once complete. But so far I’ve sold none 😂
Also one feedback for future videos is if u can also share ur TV picture and sound settings for LG tvs. Most tech reviews I've seen was always yammering about OLED and picture quality but I like this channel since u focus more on the gaming side and how it looks. No matter how much a consumer pays for a tv, how many specs is on the tv, the bottom line is how it looks IRL specially for gamers. Now I'm deeply concerned on longevity, exhaust or heat, dust and stress test like off and on. Tv safety and maintenance....cuz I game a lot and watch movies a lot and it's hot in our country like 36-40 Celsius + climate change. Keep up the good work and keep us posted in gaming and TV
Nice i have the Sony 98-inch XR X90L 4K Full Array LED Google TV and its amazing for my PS5 my favourite feature is Gesture Control I can use ny hand to control the TV
Looking at the colors displayed by the TV thinking Wow, that picture quality is insane, only to realize it's my TV displaying it. My TV's pretty great 😎😎
Great Video as always! The newsletter is a very cool idea, I will definitely sign up for it! About the TV: it still baffles me that we don’t get HDMI 2.1 on all ports…. my 2021 LG C1 already had 4x HDMI 2.1 and I can’t go back due to the fact that I use three devices that benefit from the full 2.1 bandwidth.
Hi Spawn, just checking in on an old video as I'm seriously considering pairing this TV with the PS5 Pro (when it eventually comes out!). I'm looking for a TV with the "WOW" factor, which I just haven't had from OLED. I own a C1 65" and it's a nice TV but I just haven't been as impressed with OLED as I expected to be. BIG TV.
The MiniLED TVs are great. Try and go for one with a higher number (e.g. 86, 90, 91) as the lower ones (85, 82 etc) tend to have fewer dimming zones. The only issue you'll find with MiniLED over OLED is the black levels, as they are usually a little washed out by comparison. The other option is to look at QD-OLED, as they are like OLED but brighter and more colourful (Sony is decent). I personally wouldn't go from OLED to QNED, but I would consider QD-OLED.
Thanks for that mate, much appreciated. I also saw a review of the QNED86 on another channel & I think I'm pretty much sold on it. Can currently be had for £1300; hoping that price might drop a little further as the year goes on. Thanks again 👍
You don't like OLED? I have a Samsung S90C and use it almost exclusively for the PS5. The TV is absolutely amazing. Everyone that sees it in action is enamored with it. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
@@LouieC Isn't that a QD OLED tho? I believe they produce a brighter image than WOLED, which is what my C1 is, tho they're possibly more susceptible to burn-in. In any case, I've rejected the idea of QNED for reasons so my next set will definitely be another OLED.
I sit 10ft from 77” and I find it’s perfect for the immersive experience. 8ft probably 70ish. I think 75 would be fine, but honestly I’m just used to it now.
I also jumped from 65 led to 77 oled and it hurt my eyes too much since it was too stuttery and had extreme contrast. I’m at a 65 mini led sony and I’m blown away and don’t have to worry about burn in, but I’m tempted with the a95l as a streaming only tv until the ps5 pro comes out
Awesome review mate. How does this one compare to the QNED81? I currently have a C9 OLED but my lounge is quite bright with a few windows so going to try a mini led for the brightness gains!
This is far better than the QNED81, but quite some margin. The price isn't massively different but this is a step up. The C9 is better overall but this is brighter.
@@SpawnPoiint Thanks heaps. Does it allow high refresh rate/Dolby vision pass through from the PS5? Does your PS5 hdmi cable route through the receiver to your tv?
Hello. I have a question cuz i will buy LG 55QNED86 but i don’t know what model to get, can you tell me the difference? 863RE or 866RE cuz i am in EU. Also what model is yours? Thanks!

Would you recommend this over LG oled? I know OLED is better when it comes to inky colours, lifelike shadows/colours & Input Lag but for over £2000+ price difference is it worth it? Is their anything that can be done from out of the box settings to get it close to OLED picture results when it comes to colours as well as blacks?
I have this TV in my shop, and the blooming is really bad with every logo in a black screen there is a giant circle in white around the logo i was considering this tv or the lg oled C2. What do you think Spawnpoint should i go for this one or the LG oled C2?
