A very busy and fun trip with lots of progress! Interior trim, interior and exterior railings, and even driving our own sand point well. We hit water!!
Congrats your the fourth youtuber to try a sand pipe, that I've seen and the first to strike water. I HAVE WATCHED YOU FROM THE BEGINNING OF YOUR CABIN ADVENTURE AND HAVE TOTALLY ENJOYED EVERY SECOND.😂
You are making excellent progress on your cabin and camp. I like the simple elegance of your work. Building my own 12 x 16ft cabin too, but you are about 2 months ahead of me.
I just found you today & I love what you are doing!!! Your craftsmanship is admirable & that Cabin is gorgeous. I will have to go play catch up with your Videos. It was a pleasure to see this Video & your process. You are a chill guy & that resonates with me!!! Cheers ~Kim
If you put some soda in the water in the barrel it could take out all the smells soda does amazing things. You've done some wonderful work with that place your family should be proud of you. 🌻
I would advise that you pipe the gutter down to the container and put a filter sock over the top of the container to catch the trash coming off the roof. Leaves small limbs, and/or bugs and bird crap. This will keep your water clean of debris and cause you less hassle with your hot water system.
Good video glad your arm is feeling better!!! From a fellow Michigander This Cabin is something your family can always look at and have great memories of you all together!!!
Just came across your channel, love the cabin, shed and shower house! What a beautiful place on the lake. Looking forward to more at the cabin! Really nice work! 👏
You got a lot done on this trip. Wore me out watching you on that well. Everything is looking so good. A deck out front is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
I'm going to suggest that you do "K-Guard" gutters on the shower house and cabin and use a Food Grade IBC tote (275-325 gal IIRC).Then look at Rainwater collection systems. They're used extensively in the Tx hill country and have filtration and infra red treatment that makes the water safe for human consumption. Many folks in that area use them for all their water in full time residences. You may not want the filter system for just showers but that much water would mean you shouldn't have to bring any other than drinking water
I have really enjoyed this entire build! Love your work. All the trim looks great! Looking forward to the deck build. Can’t wait til next video!! Doug from Ohio
Also that pitcher pump is close enough to your cabin you can run that pipe right to the kitchen sink and mount the hand pump there. You would have a interior pitcher pump then.
In a word: WOW! What a transformation the trim has made to your therapy chamber. LOVE the hand rail and front porch rail as well. Only thing missing is that free standing wood stove/fireplace which I'm guessing is coming at some point........
You said that you could get the water from the lake, which is true, but this way the water is filtered over the lake water. Not near as many contaminants as straight lake water.
Like i said, this doesnt work for everyone, but what effects it to work is the same thing in your body that helps broken bones to heal. Some people this works for and others it doesnt.
Hummm, its cute that you thought that dowsing would be "controversial" and its really funny how you "as an Engineer" glossed over the whole process. So you found water right? Well yea, you are 20 feet from the lake as you mentioned, so big surprise. What you failed to acknowledge and glossed over was the fact that you weren't moving those wires, were you? They did that all by themselves didn't they, so rather than just dismiss it because you were only 20 feet from the lake, why not open your Engineer’s mind to the fact that those wires DID move by themselves and all in all it worked, didn't it? You can ignore it and say it’s just because you are beside a lake but I’ve seen it done out on the bald assed prairie where there isn’t a lake for miles. Don’t dismiss and ignore things, simply because you can’t find a satisfactory answer to explain it. (grin) Oh and NICE work too …… it looks really sweet !! Well done! (see what I did there?)

Great work being done. I've binge watched this whole series up til this point. You are very talented. I've enjoyed watching.
Witching the well, as its called in the South, doesnt work for everyone, but the people that can do it, its amazing to watch.
Perfect cabin any deck must have screen

I am so impressed, great job.
Awesome place! Awesome craftsmanship! Wish I could visit there:)
Maybe the garlic will keep mosquitoes 🦟 away. Looking great 👍.
With that bottom rail under the cattle pannel you made an area to trap water, leaf and other organics.
Greetings from 🇨🇦
The cabin has turned out beautifully. Great job. I look forward to see the completed project. Stay safe.
Should done it like the Pioneers would have done it. put the well in first, and then build a sink around it...and put the pump in the house ....LOL
Good work. Blessings.
@ 6:28 love the mirror lake view
Yep, witching rods do work. I'm a engineer also and have used them to find everything from buried cables to water. Cabin is looking great.
You got a lot done on this trip. Wore me out watching you on that well. Everything is looking so good. A deck out front is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
You are a talented son of a gun!
Hey justin great to see you, love your videos each time you come up you finish lots of jobs and its looking amazing, well done x
I have a cabin in northern Mn and a covered deck is the best, no cleaning your Adirondack chairs your going to build 😊
Nice Job(s)!!!
Beautiful!
Outstanding Craftsman ship!!?
Trim looks awesome. Impressive amount of work done! Love watching the progress. Nice editing on the video as well.

Man, I love your channel and enjoy all the progress you have made. Thank you! -don
What a transformation. I like the idea of building a deck in the front, everything you’ve done so far is awesome. Take care .
Your camp is really coming along nicely. A lot of work but something to be proud of.
I have really enjoyed this entire build! Love your work. All the trim looks great! Looking forward to the deck build. Can’t wait til next video!!

After reading comments ...you're a Michigander? I'm in 'da' UP. You a troll?
So nice Justin!!! And...water!!! No disclaimer needed about finding it. :) Any merch yet?
Maybe try vinegar in the barrel. Duno? Hope you are feeling better! Stay safe and healthy!
You said that you could get the water from the lake, which is true, but this way the water is filtered over the lake water. Not near as many contaminants as straight lake water.
Only thing missing for me is a wood stove. Looks amazing otherwise. 👍🏻
My grandfather could Devine water and was sought out by people in the county he lived in many times. I’ve tried it with varying results.
Beautiful cabin deck on there would be really nice what kind of fish do you have in that lake
Like i said, this doesnt work for everyone, but what effects it to work is the same thing in your body that helps broken bones to heal. Some people this works for and others it doesnt.
Now GET an electri c PUMP!😇
Did you have to buy a pump to get the water from the bucket to the heater?
It's a summer only cabin?
Use a check valve instead of the ball valve.
Did you by chance get to check the rain barrel after it rained that night ? I`m curious as to how much it had in it .....
It filled almost 1/2 way. Close to 25 gallons. Thanks for watching!
@@echoesupnorth2367 Thankyou .
Sniff sniff. Is that a garlic shampoo you’re using?
You need a good dog 🐕!!!
