  • This trip I finished up the deck build with an outdoor kitchen and sink using a repurposed pool table slate for a countertop.

The new counter came out great! And I agree swinging 90 degrees was a good idea. Just a thought about the drain…What about slipping a section of brown flexible guttering over end coming out from from under the deck. Would help to camouflage it from the lake. Whole place is really taking shape!

Looks awesome! Could use slate sink cutout to make a matching slate side table!

you should dig a small hole put chunky gravel in it so the water can filter through it

Looks awesome. Good idea to turn it around. Gives you a more open seating area as well as better view of the lake from inside. Thanks for shaing.

if you dont mind the steps on the end. you could build the stair over there and use it to hide that pipe end

I always use skin so soft. Those black flies stay away from me. Looking good. But I would have put the kitchen on the opposite side. Great repurpose for the slate.

Perhaps have it end under the deck into a pit. You are on sand; it will just drain away

Ok wonderful sink and counter top but why not put sink at the other end of the deck? Oh yes I forgot the well pump is situated where you put it. Well now you have to build stairs to enter the deck.
