Can anybody recommend a decent alternative terrain for a new player? I understand that the vast majority of us won’t get the terrain in our hands until mid January, but any suggestions for an alternative set/system that looks like it will play well for this season of Kill Team?
The terrain wouldn't be as bad, I theorize, for a game w/out the ocean space and more room to place the pieces and move pieces. Putting the pieces on their sides for some or just toying w/ the angles of the layout. ( shrug) I agree it's weak, but it's still some chunks of plastic to block LoS ( combine w/ Octarious or Into the Dark walls? )
I wouldn't have been massively interested in this box regardless cause space marines and eldar are the factions I tend to be least interested in generally but even if I was I think I'd be annoyed at not being able to get the terrain included in the box like before for £104 (what Into the Dark cost me just over a year ago). Obviously that had diminishing returns very quickly if you wanted all the boxes for the rest of the year but feels like they've thrown the baby out with the bathwater here a little.
You’re my first look as well. It’s funny that I hate the terrain terrain less as I look at it. I had decided to pass on these sets, but, of course, now that I see your swag, we wants it to, precious! (gollum, gollum) I’m pretty sure GW will solve my problem by making way too few of everything for it to actually be available in the FLGS.
Solid video. I am thoroughly unimpressed with the new Kill Team content (teams are fine), not even including a rulebook for the release of a new season is next level dumb. I only hope the next part of the season is better.
Comment for the algorithm 🫡 Does the killzone come with any kind of book describing terrain layouts, mission packs, anything like that? It looks ugly as sin, but I care a lot more about mechanics than aesthetics when it comes to terrain, and the new rules seem more fun than expected!
Circle Hello! Thank you for your unvarnished opinion on these latest offerings. I was kind of on the fence about Killzone: Big Daddy & you’ve convinced me to pass on it. The teams & the absolute mountain of cards that come with them look great. They are definitely bigger than I’d prefer - table real estate is already at a premium.
Plentiful availability? NOPE. Sold out like last season. They really don't want people to play this game. I gave up in frustration last season when unable to buy anything but the first box. And, NO GW, I'm not going to pay double buying all the parted out boxes and books to get only most of the contents. I've bought no Kill Team in 12 months and your production strategy is keeping it that way.
Came here for a honest and unvarnished opinion and got exactly what i was looking for. Thanks for being a reliable quality creator
This Hobby needs minds like you brother, don’t ever let your opinions be swayed down the line.
I'm unshakeable!
Incroyable.
This is a great review. No punches pulled. And it was very funny. 😂
Nice review! Did you use guardian bodies with dire avenger heads?

The double hello continues to be the highlight of my day. Take this like as tribute.
Do you sell the Engage/Conceal Tokens?
I have not been able to find these anywhere.
What is the base size on those scouts? :0
Where are those engage/conceal markers from?

"Big Daddy" was probably a reference to the 1999 Adam Sandler movie of the same name.
Thanks great video again don’t know how you do it 😮

"I wouldn't insult my table by putting this trash on it" XDDDD
Fresh watch. Looking good as always.
it's confusing that you are reviewing the new terrain while constantly cutting to video of the new teams posed on non-GW pieces
BRUTAL.. Appreciate your honesty and POV
I agree that the terrain is terribly dull, but of course I've ordered it anyway, cos you know, kill team I guess
100% agree with the review. The terrain is awful..GW still got my money though as I threw it at Legions Imperialis

First review looked for.

Salvation only for my wallet..
I bought everything from KT until now. won't be buying this terrain, it's just bad we'll continue playing season 1 & 2 with my friends.
Thats what i do. I will skip that and play the second season a bit
And another total fail by GW, how can they be so bad at making enough of anything? .
Oh Jez those cards are way too big
