    4 weeks into my journey with anxiety, I can say this is a downer of a feeling.
    This started as 4 weeks ago , went to the doctors because I had a bit of acid reflux, this led to my case of anxiety, the feeling of me not being able to breathe or I wasn't getting enough oxygen into my lungs was horrible. I went to the ER a couple of times because I felt like I couldn't breathe. Doctors did an ekg ,chest scan and check my oxygen levels and said they were all good.
    I had my doubts but looking into other people symptoms we all tend to have the same "symptoms". As of 3/1/2023 I currently have symptoms just not as bad as I did before, I notice when I get my mind off of not being able to breathe or I am busy doing something mabey a hobby or something mind distracting , I can breathe , the second I say hey I can breathe , all goes bad . But hey it's all in the mind , nothing is physically wrong with us. Any one suffering from similar symptoms ?
    I'd like to look back at this and say I beat it !!!! We can all do it guys ,just stay strong and work through it. 🙏

      Yes bro! First ever comment I saw someone describing my symptom. I had my first ever panic attack hungover in the subway. From drinking a lot of alcohol the day before I also had reflux, adding up to that it was a really hot day. I felt like I couldn’t breathe and ran out of the subway the next station, which led me to be in the middle of the city at a big road with a full blown panic attack since then I’m dealing with anxiety. First I was really afraid of subways but I’ve already overcome that fear by now. However, for me it is exactly the same, when I focus on my breathing is still sometimes think I can’t get enough air and when I’m not thinking about it it’s just gone until I think about it haha. How r u feeling now?

    I think I found this video at right time. I don't know when my symptoms started clearly but I do know when my suffering has started. I have a bad habit like many other people that I overthink and over worried on smallest things. I remember during Aug'23 I had pharyngitis and I panicked all day long for may be 20 days and I was settled with confidence that this was throat cancer. Naturally my condition improved within one month. Next month I came to Japan for my phd and the nightmare begun slowly. I was having severe problem while settling down here. The drastic change in people, habit, temperature, food, surroundings etc. impacted my life severely. I remember during November middle suddenly I have developed vertigo and drowsiness. Which almost lasted for month with little sleeping difficulties, but the vertigo sensation lasted all day long with anxiety and worries. I went to the psychologist as my physical health checkup was totally normal, the doctor prescribed me mild sleeping pills for one month course. With that medication I was able to sleep regularly. Over the time the vertigo subsided but now I was down with severe gastric problems with no acid reflux (during 1st week of December). I didn't know why but whenever I was eating something severe gas was generating inside my stomach with very irregular bowel movement. I became more worried and anxious as ever along with panic and mind alertness. It was even difficult to sleep after taking sleeping pill. I went to see a gastroenterologist who prescribed me 14 days gastric medicine. During this time I was having sleeping medicine and gastric medicine together and I was having decent to moderate sleep. I remember, One day I didn't take my sleeping pill just for one day, because that time my gas problem was gone and I thought I might able to sleep without sleeping pill. The true nightmare started from there. I couldn't sleep that night and my true anxiety, fear, restlessness, panic has started.
    Right now I am worried and anxious for whole day and having only one thought, "Am I gonna able to sleep today". Yesterday and day before yesterday I took the sleeping medicine but I couldn't sleep properly. When I am going to bed at night by switching off lights, my horrifying stories are starting. I was sweating, panicking and you know the other symptoms for like whole night without sleep. Next day I was too tired, anxious and almost could not able to do anything or concentrating on anything.
    these incidents severely affecting my daily life and my PhD life as well. Please tell me anybody is suffering from same kind of conditions or anybody abled to beat this situation. It would be highly appreciated.

      See don't focus on anxiety symptoms you worried about off lot of things in one go like phyarngitis not abble sleep darkness ect don't focus on such things when you ignore these things and excersice daily your body will get tired and you Automatically fell asleep because a tired body wants a sleep so try to indulge your self in different thing fearing all day is not a solution ok

    Anxiety does become a physical issue, it causes vomiting, GI distress, spike in Blood Pressure, etc......

  • @v8cool231
    @v8cool231 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Interesting. I've had these issues for about 2 years now. Started with odd bowel movements, then panic attacks, anxiety nausea. I started having an aversion to coffee, and recently, pork . This was all triggered by catalogue of stressful situations that were thrown at me. But then having the bowel issue on top, I like you said, assumed the worst.
    It was getting to a point I'd be carry, tablets around with me to stop the excessive wet bowel movements, lumps of ginger, for the nausea, travel sick tablets etc. I couldn't drive for more than 20 minutes from home fearing I'd get anxiety attacks in the car.
    However life has settled down more, and the more I watch videos like this and I've read a few short books on the subject. I realise my bowel issues are anxiety related. My nausea has calmed down a lot, and I don't get panic attacks anymore.
    My aversion to coffee has gone, but intolerance of pork still exists, and my erratic bowels still exist. Its something I'm still trying to deal with as I feel they've actually got worse, as the rest of me has gotten better.
    I never seem to need bowel movements when I'm in the car though.

    All these symptom don't bother me as much now. Heck they barely occur now. However after dealing with fatigue one day at my job I was staring at the blue sky away from the sun. I was trying to understand why I was fatigued and as I stared i at the sky something freaked me out as i saw eye floaters but only 2 and some other things like dots or something. Has anyone else had this issue? I used to have heart palpitations with panic sttacka and the longer I've suffered the hear palpations went away and now everyday I have constant symptoms such as dizziness, lightheaded, feeling faint and disconnected,tingling,twitching but I no longer have heart palpitations so I always get scared and think what if it's not anxiety

    • @nameofthegame9664
      @nameofthegame9664 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have been through the exact same thing. It was my heart at the beginning. Palpitation, felt my pulse everywhere, heard my pulse all the time. Later I started focusing on the twitching and tingling and it escalated quickly. The dizziness and brain fog was always there. I’ve done every test known to man even a full MRI scan with contrast and EVERY illness has been ruled out. Even though I’m perfectly healthy I have still self diagnosed myself with ALS, MS, Heart problems, Kidney failure, Parkinson, Dementia, Cancer and so many more illnesses. Since I always google my symptoms I’m now a full blow professional on symptoms and as soon a sensation pops up I can instantly associate it with a disease and I’m back on square one.

      @@elmaxlife I’m doing great actually. Turned out to be something wrong with me after all. The anxiety and the physical symptoms I’ve been dealing with for years was due to a vitamin B1 deficiency. When the B1 deficiency gets bad enough you get what’s called Beriberi and it has two forms, a wet and dry. The dry one involves your nerves and parasympathetic nervous system and the wet one your heart and cardiovascular system. I had both but you don’t have to develop Beriberi to get the symptoms. A B1 insufficiency is more than enough.
      Common symptoms of dry Beriberi are, peripheral neuropathy (pins and needles) especially in your feet and hands, anxiety, slow or disturbed gut motility, vision changes, insomnia, brain fog and memory problems, muscle twitching and spasms, muscle weakness and ataxia, difficulty swallowing and weakened voice, air hunger/difficulty breathing.
      Common symptoms of the wet form are, palpitations, chest pain, poor blood circulation, at first you’ll get elevated blood pressure and pulse rate and later low blood pressure, POTS are very common at that stage. My blood pressure went from 160/100 to 90/65 basically over night. I couldn’t stand up without almost fainting. Sore calf muscles due to build up of lactic acid are also extremely common and some get edema around their ankles.
      This is just some common symptoms. There are so many others.
      A B1 deficiency is pretty common yet highly under diagnosed. It mimics such a huge variety of other diseases that it often takes years to properly diagnosed. I can guarantee that a lot of people suffering from anxiety related disorders with physical symptoms are actually deficient in B1. To make matters worse, many of the medications prescribed for anxiety depletes you of B1 making the problem even worse. Same goes for heart medications such as blood pressure medicine, literally flushes the B1 right out of your system. A deficiency often takes years to develop and you can dip in and out of it with periods of symptom worsening.
      If you drink a lot of coffee, tea, soda and alcohol, eats a lot of sugar and carbohydrates, take medications and are under a lot of stress you’re 100% deficient in B1.
      If you or anyone reading this suffers from anxiety with physical symptoms go out and buy yourself some B1 supplements right now and try a high dose. I would recommend Benfothiamine. Take 400-500mg as an experiment. If you’re not deficient nothing will happen other than that your urine will smell a bit funky. If you are deficient your symptoms will get worse. Some might instantly improve such as the anxiety but the palpitations or peripheral neuropathy might get worse. If that happens you’re definitely deficient. The diabolical thing about B1 deficiency is that it will get worse before it gets better. Your body is switching over from a catabolic to an anabolic state. If you have an increase in symptoms or severity of symptoms you have two choices, either you go for a smaller dose slowly increasing it over days or weeks or you go for a huge dose and tough it out. I’m currently over a 1 gram a day.

Positive self talk to you and your anxiety might help you, you just have to do it everyday and every time you start to feel those scary thoughts just tell your self you will be okay and are okay! Dude, but above all first and foremost you should look for the reasons of the anxiety to stop it. The energy should be focused on the reasons and sources why your mind is creating this anxiety.

      This happens to me too! Pressure in head, pain in neck, vision issues, heart palpitations! It's been going on for 15 months now and last year I was doing so much better. Then I got pregnant and everything went downhill 🙁 now I'm just as bad as the beginning.
