- While 2024 may be the year of the rat in Warhammer, it seems Chaos in general is getting quite a bit of love too - particularly over in Warhammer 40k where we’ve seen two new Lord models, the new Chaos Space Marine Codex and a swathe of new box sets.

I doubt that a new terminator lord kit would be as versatile as the old one. Maybe it’s for the best that the rumors weren’t true.
Current one goes crazy tho why would we need a new one. All you need to do is headswap and it's immediately readable as any factiom you'd like

Ooh. That Chaos Lord on foot looks awesome. But the best Lord model they ever did was the Chaos Lord from Dark Vengeance.

@@6-4crusader55 because I don’t like them I don’t think they have any legs to stand on their own and guard could benefit from more regimental enginseer units

I like how the armor looks Primaris seeing how Khorne did corrupt a shit ton of Primaris marines in the lore recently. So it’s not that hard to believe this is a Primaris chaos marine. However knowing games workshop it’s probably scavenged war plate.
Def someone who scavenged the armor. Doesn't mean Primaric Chaos doesn't exist both in lore and you could kitbash it easily for TT

This whole reveal stream was bad for anything 30k and beyond, two models for CSM they stuck in huge expensive boxes, ad mech getting a teaser for HH, and half of kill team being reused kits from GSC, im glad old world and AoS are getting cool stuff at least but everything else was such a let down sadly
The 40K chaos stuff looks cartoonish compared to the AoS chaos stuff.
The Slaves to darkness have a more mature and serious tone. By no way is that good or bad, I just noticed
Considering one is based on future tech and the other is medieval Knights, I wonder why it looks more “realistic”. 😅

eh... The CSM is technically only getting 2 new models (one which is technically just an alternate model to an already existing one) for a whole new codex. That's it. Granted, both models are pretty cool, but overall it's not exactly impressive considering how old so many of the models of that range still are and how hard it is to get a hold of the likes of their rhino-based chassis type tanks for example. I for one was hoping that we'd FINALLY get some more relevant epic characters for the proper Undivided Legions for one thing...

Would be nice if they could focus on maybe, i dunno, getting LI released properly. Over a month on, still no reliable or affordable way to get hold of many of the new kits😅 but no, have another character locked behind a boxset
Very true. I hear that the production issues are resolving themselves slowly, and we could see Legions Imperialis back in stock by early May 🤞🏻
These Chaos Lord models are cool, but they do look a little bit too standard for Chaos. I mean, no Night Lords bat-winged helmet? No custom legion shoulderplate or iconography? No organic demon wings? No banner options? Come on! ;/
This the lord on foot looks like a chosen but with none of the relic armour or weapons which makes no sense whatsoever & a raptor looks more unique then a jump pack lord very very disappointing

Neither model stands out at all & neither look like a lord armour is to clean should be more possession or relic to it their weapons also should be relic or possessed weapons & should be something no ordinary csm should get his hands on
