    Great Video! My 2018 Mercedes S-class needs breaks and rotors. How much did OEM parts cost?

      Thanks! I found these rotors online for about $200 each. Wasn't able to find a quality aftermarket rotor so we just went with OEM. Thanks for watching and subscribing!!

      I just bought oem rotors and pads for the front end. It was around $1000 at the dealer. You can get it cheaper online but then they will charge a lot of shipping. The rotors are super heavy. Prob 40 lbs each.

      On vehicles with air suspension I pull the air suspension fuse to stop that from happening.

    How to pump brakes after change brake pads without turning on the abs

    • @CarsYouCanFix
      @CarsYouCanFix  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pump the brakes before turning on the car, I've had some older mercedes throw an abs light but after driving a bit and turning the car on and off a few times, the abs light went out.

      @@CarsYouCanFix where is lokate fuse box and can work with all cars and models wich have suspension air

      @@vraniskpashku2551 You would have to look up your specific model to find the fuse box, but the one in the engine bay usually will have the suspension fuse.

      @@vraniskpashku2551 OK So I personally haven't done this before, but certain ABS modules you can disconnect the big connector on the module during the brake replacement. And that should prevent the ABS lights. There may be a specific procedure to do this correctly but I've always opted for just turning the ignition on and off a few times to clear it.

    Was actually a pretty good video up until you applied anti-seize to the caliper pucks and slide surfaces. NEVER use anti-seize where a dedicated synthetic brake lube belongs! Your asking for issues and noise.
    Just some fyi.

      In my dealership experience I disagree. And that's coming from a tech with top CS average (customer service). We can agree to disagree. But I can tell you for a fact you are 100% wrong.
