Quick learning is performed on the transmission, making adjustments to the computer of the new condition of the transmission, as well as learning the condition of the turbine and the filling rates of the applications, this is done with the scanner and With the engine at working temperature, which is a guided function, this procedure must be done when the transmission has been repaired, the turbine has been changed or the solenoid body has been replaced.
The filling index (CVI) values are observed with the scanner, which give us an indication of the condition of the applications (pistons), which represents the time in which the drum applies and these must be compared with the data of manual, to get an idea of the condition of the transmission as a diagnosis or as an indication of the status of the transmission repair.
The street test is carried out which consists of two parts, one in traffic or between streets to be able to observe the up and down changes, it must be observed that the transmission does not make the changes hit (that it does not kick) and the second part to be able to sue it. to the transmission at speed to observe that it makes the changes, to see that the torque converter is secured (TCC full lock) and that it engages in overdrive when power is required, as well as to see its behavior on slopes and that it does not slip.
The procedure for checking or measuring the transmission oil level is carried out or putting the oil at the transmission level. It must be at working temperature and the difference between cold measurement and hot measurement is explained.
With the oscilloscope, the characteristic curve of the activation of the solenoids of the solenoid body is observed, observing an activation by PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) pulse width modulation, the characteristic curve of the speed sensors (input sensor) is also observed. and output sensor), observing a sinusoidal wave of characteristic voltage and frequency.
Hydraulic pressure tests are carried out on the transmission, placing a pressure gauge on each of the applications (brakes: 2/4, Low/Reverse, Clutches: Overdrive, Underdrive and Reverse) which are controlled by the solenoid body, the speed sensors, pressure switches and this controlled by the computer, the expected values from the manual can be observed, against the values that the transmission is giving, in the different positions of the lever (parking, reverse, neutral, 1 , 2, 3, 4) and the application of the torque converter (TCC torque converter clutch).
