I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this video. Thank you so much for bringing it to us. I greatly admire Prince George's children, who thankfully, lived long lives of service to the Monarchy. My hearing of his wife's service has given me another person to admire. I'm glad I watched this video to learn about her and the sad end to the man she loved. May they both rest in eternal peace.
I still find it weird that the Royal Family never commissioned a memorial for George. That feeds into the conspiracy theories, especially since he died in the line of duty.
Obvious what happened.He arranged to meet Hess in Scotland to bring an end to the war through capitulation.The Princes were German after all.Churchill found out so there was an accident on his plane.The survivor of the crash signed the official secrets act so couldn’t talk.That is the real reason for no memorial.

I'm 68 and I live alone. I've been watching TH-cam for a few years now and one of the things I like the best is we're all watching the same show and then we comment and exchange thoughts about it with each other. And I have found most of the time people on here have the best sense of humor.

Prince George and Princess Marina were the most luminous couple. I was sad King George V was told eating dinner at Balmoral. And his wee children at the time of his death.

Prince George's death was both mysterious and tragic. He shaped up to be a fine man despite his youthful exuberance. Edward VIII might have learned something from him.
I can't imagine sending your children off at 13 years old. Even more surprising was finding out they sent some of their children off to the Navy at such a young age.
What a sad sad story! 😢😮its such a shame that he didnt get much time on earth... btw he is so much like prince Andrew he looks the absolute double of him..
Most of us have someone in our family who's not like everybody else. I am the one in my family that's different. Unfortunately for the royal family everyone feels they deserve to know their business
People never stop trashing the Duke of Windsor - and in some historical regards they have a point; but when it came to his brother, he did the very best to save him from himself; and that showed a finer side of his character that deserves to be remembered.
This was very beautifully done. I am a history buff. Prince George should be memoralised posthumously, given the importance of the current Prince George.

It is quite possible for the prince only wanted to be thought of as a regular sort of soldier. I am sure that the king gave him an honor of some sort, but nothing very public. Those needed to be more public and earned rather than be stowed. I like to do a cat very much. Andrew is linked to him. And I believe probably shares a good many characteristics with him.
As for George being a Nazi sympathizer, I don’t believe that’s true at all. However, his brother Edward most certainly was an admirer. If Edward had not given up the throne, he most certainly would’ve pushed to accommodate German controlling position in Europe.

I was sent away at eight to boarding school.
