Fantastic. You and your films are a great inspiration, even if my own "adventures" are not as grand. You know, you have to try to find the big adventure in the small excursions. Spending the night in a wind shelter, a bike ride on some back roads or grilling sausages with the family in the forest, etc. I like your uploads and the words of wisdom you share with all the viewers. Then I try to make the best of the situation and enjoy the moment. 💪
What more could you want in a video? Insane scenery, grouse un-aliving, moose encounters, Coach Chad on the coms, and top tier Happy Gilmore references! Excellent as always 🤘
Thanks to your buddy for keeping it real and showing that dropping the moto is just part of learning! I've been hesitant to Adv moto because videos make it seem so seamless and perfect and I know it won't be that way for me! 😂
It’s definitely not seamless and perfect. Thanks for watching. 😉 I can’t remember a trip where the bike didn’t go down. These bikes are designed to hit the ground. Scars on the bike are just stories to sell around the camp fire.
I’ve been watching your videos for some time, and they were unique in that he rarely spoke, and you were always solo. They were great, but I must say this video lets us know who you are as a person and shows us your excellent character !! And the video is second to any of that I’ve ever seen! Excellent job guys and thank you !!
Everyone that rides two wheels on dirt should ride the length of Idaho. Nothing like it. What an epic area and epic video series you're putting together man. Really appreciate you bringing us along!! We'll be back out that way soon!
Great adventure! Thanks for sharing with us. Next time I'm in Coeur D'alene I'll definitely stop by Best Life Coffee & Commerce. 👍 Mike took one Hell of a header. I'm glad he wasn't hurt to badly. Superb photography and editing!
@backcountryadvmoto I know life is hard, and family commitments are hard, but if you want a huge number of followers, you have to do these trips constantly. You live in America, you have endless beautiful places waiting for you to visit, and in the future you will have a lot of followers, and the channel will grow to reach a million subscribers. Trust me, followers love travel trips.
I would have preferred to not hit it but I’m not going to potentially crash swerving for a dumb forrest chicken. That guy looked drunk! I bet he doesn’t even remember doing that.
Wow! Looks amazing! Very similar to my home base of Vancouver Island. If you ever come to the Island for a ride, I'd love to give you all a tour. Thanks for the awesome content!
Really enjoyed the video! I was in the Lake Pend Oreille area a couple of summers ago, your video brings back good memories! If I were to ride down from Vancouver, Canada next summer and drop by your coffee shop, would you be willing to share with me some of these beautiful camping spots?
Great Great video. Plus a Moose round up. Grouse hunting, although I use a different device to hunt. Not sure I could mention gun on utube. What was that about the guy trying to kick the motorcycle? Good grief. Waiting for the next adventure😁.
We have no idea what that was about. We have plenty of room. My only thought is that it was elk season and maybe they thought we were disturbing those hunt. 🤷🏼♂️
Rough Grouse very good eating heading out hunting for them in a few days for now. Great day of riding boys my bike is stored for the winter now I can just look at it in my garage
I just bought a scrambler style bike (2024 husqvarna 401), and I'm really getting into this bike lifestyle. My channel has always been about overlanding in my Gladiator, and I was thinking that is Mike!!
@Mike.A.Hernandez you know as well as I do that it's not about the tumbles, it's about being out away from the stress of life. And as a bonus, you are out with two of the best coaching you. #goals
Great ride greetings from so oregon brother we all have to learn adventure bikes change our riding style i came off a honda 650l to a 06 1200GS and i love the boxer. I have got to ride IDAHO great vid
Didn't Mike start on a CRF300L Rally? I stuck with the crf myself and dropped the cheddar for the upgrades (suspension/big bore kit etc.) because at 59 I'm not sure my skill level will get to the point I can handle and repeatedly pick up a bigger bike. Huge props to him and you all for getting after it. P.S. love Coeur D'Alene will definitely stop my next time through. Cheers.
I don’t put them out for the world to see, but if you are going to be in the area you can email or stop by the coffee house and I’ll gladly share a few
It's a tough decision because I want everyone to enjoy them but also don't want them to get overrun. You can email me or hit me on IG and I’ll send some links
What a great adventure and awesome views. Good job on the video as well. I appreciate you guys being so supportful with the less experienced guy. I got to say though, I think you took him on a route that he was nowhere ready for. Imo.
Maybe so, but this is what he wanted to do. He had an amazing time and the best way to get better is by riding with people that encourage you and push you to do hard things. I can tell you because he told me that he is better for it. I appreciate you watching and glad you enjoyed it.
@ what about the radio mic you were wearing on your vest? Looked like an antenna sticking out of your backpack. We were looking at Bafang radios for riding, but not sure the range is what they claim
Gr8 video....would like to know the route you took, except I will be doing reverse trip. AZ -NV - UT - ID - WA- OR then back home to CA..... Thank you guys.....
On a bike yes. He’s also vertically challenged which makes it a little more difficult for him. He was a trooper though and never complained and gained a ton of knowledge and experience
Those stupid birds…their first instinct is to jump INTO YOUR PATH…(wtf?) every time! I can't tell you how many times it's happened to me. It used to kinda affect me, but now I just consider it part of the adventure🙄.
To prevent these areas from becoming overrun by the public and help preserve the conditions of these areas. Social media exposure has done a lot of damage the last few years.
That is correct. If somebody really wants to know a specific area, they can always shoot me an email or hit me up in messages and normally I will share the love, but just blasting it out for everyone to see unfortunately has caused huge problems and even trail closures so not worth it.
Kudos to Mike. It’s not how much you fall, but that you keep getting back on that counts!!
