I literally never comment on videos but I felt like I needed to on this one. I’ve been watching you for a while now. Love your videos. I can tell you’re a great person, father, husband. Don’t worry about pushing out content. Like you said, do it at your own pace and when you feel like it. Family comes first and nobody will blame you for that. I feel like these videos are more genuine and real compared to a lot of other camping content online. Keep up the good work!
First time I come across your channel and man do I feel you, you can only do what you can do, congrats on your new baby, I subscribed and turned on notifications so I dont miss your next one, no pressure!
Having kids ain’t easy but so that time to are giving them is worth the sacrifices! I can tell you are a great father bro! Keep up the content. And wishing you the best for you and your family this year. 😊🤙
Great stuff man. You earned a new sub tonight. you seem like a rad dude with an awesome outlook on life. I get stuck in the routine of life and can't get out on trips as much as I would like, but I have 0 kids... Kudos to you brother! I'm in the SoCal area and have a hard time keeping up with my buddies ripping their pre- runners in the desert. always looking for other like- minded individuals to adventure with! Cheers, and happy New Year.
I’m glad I found your channel I’m trying to find new places to go and camp with my Jeep. I’m a local to Orange County and I love the Angeles and San Bernardino mountains, although I have not explored them as much as I would like due to lack of knowledge of the area.
Glad to see you getting out there again! Loved the "ASMR" part right before you hit camp. You'll have to fill me in on the new campfire, I always thought one of those would be nice for space savings but they're quite expensive. How's it compare to your old one or mine?
@@NeptuneRanch thanks man! I think I’ll have to try it on a less windy night to know for sure but I don’t think it radiates heat as well as the other one which makes sense because of the shape. I think I’ll be holding onto the other one when it’s then whole family, but the new one I’ll probably keep in the camper all the time for when I’m solo.
@@dynamicoverland8650 Hey man! Been getting a lot of messages like that lately. Planning on doing a Patreon member camp out this year for those interested.
What an epic sunset and night. Out of curiosity, what lights are you running on your roof rack? Are you happy with them? Im local to Big Bear as well, hope to see you around. 👊
Hey! The side lights are just Baja designs rock lights mounted to the front runner rack. I love them, plan on installing them on the camper when it gets here!
Hey man thank you! I don’t share coordinates publically. I do have a Patreon member Teir for that and it is available there but also you might be able to just find it with what is in the video just fine.
I go onto the forest service website and they say these are closed? I've been meaning to get up there but was wondering about closures since the fire etc. Maybe their website isn't updated. I don't know when you took this trip but it says 2 days ago. I'm replying on Jan 2nd.
@@michaelliebe5028 I was wondering the same thing when I went but assumed it would be open because the fires had been long over. I didn’t see any closed gates when I was up there at all.
I don't get that cooking grill. If that thing come all the way apart, how do you deal with the grease that dripped down? Super inconvenient to clean up and put away.
It’s for sure not going to be for everyone. I’m a fan because it’s something I probably won’t use very often. It packs down so nicely so I can keep it in my kit without being a pain and just pull it out when I feel like grilling. You can cover the grease catch with foil which should make clean up pretty easy, I just didn’t have any with me this time.

Yes, absolutely in good conditions. Once the snow hits I probably wouldn’t try it.
