@Randomdude21-e So many things. I can make a list about them, like split-screen, fast charging, reverse wireless charging, and freedom of customization. Being able to do anything with your phone is basically what iPhones lack the most. And there are many still lot of things. Also, in terms of the camera, the iPhone is again left behind. Many Android phones can now zoom up to 100x, although Samsung is the pioneer in this feature. And Huawei. As of recently. Iphone adapting older android features. Such as moving app. They also recently joined rcs. Oh you can also pause video in iphone now. Which again they call this a new thing. Pathetic. And now you can record a call. And that's all about it from iphone newest features 😂 oh the airdrop feature? That's not even new. Samsung s4 had it That's a feature from android beam. We had nfc since so long.

crazy thing about the Pixel is that ALL of the data the Google gleans from every Google user in the world is put into the apps on Pixel phones to make them way more useful and helpful than any other Android or Apple phone. i was shocked to see how much 'smarter' Pixel phones are than other phones.
I have moved to android after been on apple since the iPhone 3G. Only thing I struggle with is the photo albums on iPhone are easy to deal with. I haven’t found a way to recreate this in google photos. Have a work around using Samsung gallery but feel I’m stuck using Samsung phones now.
I'm a person who prioritizes freedom, it all started from Android Enclair, then Android introduced Root and that loyalty remains until now, used to have Iphone 4s and Iphone 10 Max, solid in terms of smoothness, but due to many limitations, that's what made me getting bored quickly using the IOS system, that doesn't mean I hate it, but my heart rejects it due to the desire for freedom as a Power User.

@@DareyoutoyryI switched to iPhone in 2022 for some reasons, same reasons are keeping me glued to this. Overall, if I could - I’d threw it out of the window and got back on an android bandwagon. No os is perfect, iOS too - stupid lags and glitches from time to time. Can’t get rid of things, can’t make things work the way I want - always need to adjust to Apple’s way of thinking. Stupid safari and cant get rid of it and also everything is a WebKit on iPhone anyways. Stupid flying turd and lack of the fingerprint sensor pisses me off from time to time. Other than that - cameras are alright(iPhone 14 Pro), screen is alright on Pro. Apple does everything to vendorlock you and they are doing it good. Privacy-wise - I don’t trust either of the big tech companies, both are greedy and data mining. You can be a multibillion or trillion company without doing shady things. One thing that I can on Android and can’t on iPhone - install a firewall and block every communication I don’t want to :)
@@DareyoutoyryI switched from an s8 plus to iPhone XS in 2022. I loved android but apples software support is way ahead at the moment. Whilst everyone bags on apple for slowing down older devices the iPhone just felt faster and it was a similar age. I now have a 13 pro and loving it. A high end phone is a high end phone so each of them will have great battery life, camera, screen etc no matter if you choose apple or android. Go for an older iPhone and if you like the experience then get a newer one. I’m using the 13 Pro and it’s very similar to the latest devices minus the ai features which I would never use. iOS has some annoyances that take time to get used to but I thought the switch was well worth it
So the Pixel5a stopped getting updates this week. That's barely three years of updates. My iPhone has had more than double that, and still going strong. Tell me again now Android is better when its core company, Google, won't even support their own kit.
The only thing im nervous about is the group chats! im scarred from the mess it was before. Seeing the RCS messaging finally roll out on iOS does help my anxiety a bit lol

For me, it's the exact opposite. Everyone I know and talked to have been switching from Android to iOS in 2023 and 2024. While nobody switching from iOS to Android. Thanks for sharing your perspective :)
Good point I have been on both and I have been backwards and forwards a few times but gotta say iOS cuts it for and when I got my 15 PM I decided I’m sticking with Apple. Simplicity and customer service rules
I got out of iPhones when I was going to upgrade my 4s! My wife dropped her phone down the loo, so she had the iPhone, and I went out and bought an HTC One M8. I couldn't believe how good it was compared to the iPhone. Since then, I've had phones from OnePlus, and Xiaomi/ Redmi, and will never go back to the dark side. 😉
Phone manufacturers should make it easier to transfer credentials (passwords, passkeys, etc.) across platforms. There should not be a need for a PC/Mac in the middle to migrate these.
Once my iphone 13 mini dies will be back. In Australia a lot of the overseas phones get blocked with the Australian telcos since the telcos switched off 3g. So less choice here.
I wanna switch so bad, but there's just no options in terms of sub 6,1inch smartphones in Android, the compact phones are dead unfortunately and iPhone 13 mini is the only comfortable phone now. But If I'm wrong, I'd be more than happy to be corrected in this case
I wish you would have addressed what do with music. I have a lot of music purchased through iTunes I need transfer over--does that work? I have Spotify, but I spend a lot of time on airplanes which is just about the only place I actually listen to music from my phone (if I'm on the ground I have SXM in my car and Sonos w/spotify in my home etc). Until starlink is on every plane, I have a lot of downloaded music I've paid for and would like to keep...what can I do?
Cool nice video! I thought it was going to be a very unneccesary painful experience but it seems easy enough, just a question when copying the iPhone’s photos and videos, will it include the albums/folders or will it transfer everything at once?
The first step is to find a device you like the look of. Currently there is no hardware I like that runs Android, as I prefer the smaller form factor of the SE / Mini. I don’t have any ecosystem ‘holding me back’, just the phone. There are no good similar sized Android phones with good software support. You can get a new SE at a steep discount if you don’t get it specifically from the Apple website (who does that anyways?). The internals of the 2022 SE are a bit overkill though for such a small phone.
When you transfer from iPhone to Android do the contacts, photos etc, if pre-existing on the Google account, get wiped out and replaced by the iPhone data during transfer?
Is it possible for you to make a video for Android users going to iOS? Move to iOS is janky software and i wonder if you knew any other way to transfer data properly like how Smart Switch does it.
while Android has raw power iOS does have better app optimization, developers always use iOS as the base to develop their app google should do the same to these app developers
They really can’t since android can run on a lot of phones, from the very budget to flagships. App devs would also need to make sure that their app runs from the lowest to the highest, so apple-like optimization isn’t really the priority- or even possible.
I was an Android guy since the HTC Dream, but I relapsed with iphone 13 mini, because 3 years ago all Android phones were a large brick. But I'm planning a grand comeback this holiday 😂

I had a similar experience but I recently got another android phone today so I’m gonna give it another. I’m still keeping my iPhone 16 though so I can have both
The things that still keep me for using Apple products are MacBook and iPad. Apple really need to do some serious works for iPhone, they’re falling behind now. Android phones are amazing!
Falling behind in what?
I have an iPad and Android phone . Store my iPad docs etc on Google Drive and Google files . They both seem to work well together
@Randomdude21-e So many things.
@@Imogenevlogswhy are you comparing every android feature from every device the only way to properly compare is phone brand vs phone brand eg pixel vs iPhone
@@Imogenevlogs Please write a more biased comment next time. Thank you.
100x zoom is dipsht on any phone. Unnecessary gimmick. By the way - this is your only argument why Android phones have better cameras than iPhone? The zoom? 😂 Of course is iOS adapting features Android has, but that's the same vice versa.
crazy thing about the Pixel is that ALL of the data the Google gleans from every Google user in the world is put into the apps on Pixel phones to make them way more useful and helpful than any other Android or Apple phone. i was shocked to see how much 'smarter' Pixel phones are than other phones.
I have moved to android after been on apple since the iPhone 3G. Only thing I struggle with is the photo albums on iPhone are easy to deal with. I haven’t found a way to recreate this in google photos. Have a work around using Samsung gallery but feel I’m stuck using Samsung phones now.
"horrific rage bukkake"
i love you man lmao
I'm a person who prioritizes freedom, it all started from Android Enclair, then Android introduced Root and that loyalty remains until now, used to have Iphone 4s and Iphone 10 Max, solid in terms of smoothness, but due to many limitations, that's what made me getting bored quickly using the IOS system, that doesn't mean I hate it, but my heart rejects it due to the desire for freedom as a Power User.
When switching to Google Pixel, your messages don't get moved over and Google doesn't seem to know how to help out with this issue. Unfortunately that was a pretty deal breaker for myself.
Switched from S10 to iP 11 back in 2020 - never looked back. Currently on 15 Pro. I do enjoy the channel though, gotta love that old style banter :D. If I ever were to switch back it would be to the regular sized S-series. Shame they dropped the SD card support for samsung flagships :(
Is it really that good? I've been thinking of switching to IPhone but I hate Alot of things about IOS.
There are some upside to Apple tho like more apps and better optimization as well as iMessage and FaceTime so I ask was the switch worth it and why?
I went from the s22 ultra to iPhone 15 pro max last year and haven’t looked back. 2 iPads and an Apple Watch later I’m quite cozy in their ecosystem 😅
Tell me again now Android is better when its core company, Google, won't even support their own kit.
can you do a vice-versa video mate.?
I promise he won't.
The only thing im nervous about is the group chats! im scarred from the mess it was before. Seeing the RCS messaging finally roll out on iOS does help my anxiety a bit lol
It is very interesting to see how both of us have completely opposite experiences. For you, the people you talked to wanted to switch from iOS to Android and nobody the other way around.
@@ashleyiphone15ProMax Yes! Those are my reasons too.
Yep, I switched from android back to iOS after 8 years. The 15PM made me do it, I’ve got the 16PM now and super happy with my decision 😊
@@Rinnara21 do you find the 16 pro max to be much different?
@@ashleyiphone15ProMax nope. Even the size which I thought would be problematic isn’t much different at all
My wife moved after the iPhone 5c and would never go back now. She still loves her flip3 and it's also better for her work.
Uncle Squirt @ 2:00 lol 🤣🤣🤣
I got out of iPhones when I was going to upgrade my 4s! My wife dropped her phone down the loo, so she had the iPhone, and I went out and bought an HTC One M8. I couldn't believe how good it was compared to the iPhone.
Since then, I've had phones from OnePlus, and Xiaomi/ Redmi, and will never go back to the dark side.
😉
What game is launched at 2:00?
Thank you these videos are very helpful when made from time to time!
We're switching to slower chipsets now?
ordered the pixel 8 pro yesterday and traded my iphone in for 1:1, probably a useless upgrade but i wanna give it a try
Let's make it a trend! Apple is being too lazy to update anything now. I'm an iPhone's user and I feel quite disappoint.
is there a way to put the apple calendar on to an android, as my wife and i share a calender and she has iPhone and MacBook
Great video. Much appreciated. Thank you 👍
Phone manufacturers should make it easier to transfer credentials (passwords, passkeys, etc.) across platforms. There should not be a need for a PC/Mac in the middle to migrate these.
I agree but, there’s no incentive for them to do that.
Once my iphone 13 mini dies will be back. In Australia a lot of the overseas phones get blocked with the Australian telcos since the telcos switched off 3g. So less choice here.
Went from a i15 to a P9. Pixel is a straightforward movement from iPhone.
I wanna switch so bad, but there's just no options in terms of sub 6,1inch smartphones in Android, the compact phones are dead unfortunately and iPhone 13 mini is the only comfortable phone now.
But
If I'm wrong, I'd be more than happy to be corrected in this case
im swapping from iphone to pixel 9 pro in the next week after my contract finishes :D
2:00 what do you see?
I was surprised how awful it was going from a 6s to se2. Since then, I've had a few pixels. Backup and restore with pixel phones is second to none.
Very useful thanks spurt. Like you knew I’d just bought an Android phone. Now I need help to actually use the Samsung. Any advice?
I hope you will review the new Mac mini.
Bro pls review the Xiaomi 15 Pro
The first step is to find a device you like the look of. Currently there is no hardware I like that runs Android, as I prefer the smaller form factor of the SE / Mini. I don’t have any ecosystem ‘holding me back’, just the phone. There are no good similar sized Android phones with good software support.
You can get a new SE at a steep discount if you don’t get it specifically from the Apple website (who does that anyways?). The internals of the 2022 SE are a bit overkill though for such a small phone.
Get the Asus zenphone 10 or the pixel 9/8 depending on your budget
pixel 8a? ???
I guarantee you're a boomer - I sell phones for a living and the small phone lovers are exclusively 40+ year olds
@@FromUsToAshes im 20 years old. Just need my phone to fit and be mostly useable in one hand. :^)
Both of those are around the size of a standard iPhone, they are not small.
Went from an iPhone 16 Pro Max to Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Not missing anything
When you transfer from iPhone to Android do the contacts, photos etc, if pre-existing on the Google account, get wiped out and replaced by the iPhone data during transfer?
Awesome video! I love my Google Pixel 9 pro xl
Very good video Spurt
I went from the iphone 13 pro go the galaxy s24 I'm loving it
Great video Chris. I love Android but do like 🍏 smartphone too. I think you can’t go wrong with either
I didn't get any word that this man said. But thank you
So Pixel is fantastic performance? Wors than SD G1 and A14, that is fantastic by Android standards?
Is it possible for you to make a video for Android users going to iOS? Move to iOS is janky software and i wonder if you knew any other way to transfer data properly like how Smart Switch does it.
What's your opinion on honey trap
while Android has raw power
iOS does have better app optimization, developers always use iOS as the base to develop their app
google should do the same to these app developers
Also has bugs screen dimming and touch sampling rate that is why I switched to the honor magic 6 pro
They really can’t since android can run on a lot of phones, from the very budget to flagships. App devs would also need to make sure that their app runs from the lowest to the highest, so apple-like optimization isn’t really the priority- or even possible.
Really have my eye on the flip or ultra 24 I’m not sure what to get but I definitely will not be getting another Apple
Hahahaha!!! Ditch that iPhone brick! I did that an age ago and I'm not looking back! S24U to ZF6 and now the phenomenal OnePlus Open!
I was an Android guy since the HTC Dream, but I relapsed with iphone 13 mini, because 3 years ago all Android phones were a large brick. But I'm planning a grand comeback this holiday 😂
13 Mini is a fantastic phone, but it has a poor battery life
@@Xerxes_OP sad but true
Wow HTC… that shows some age 😅
Going to switch next year. Note 20 ultra to iphone was not one of my better decisions. Can't wait for 25 ultra
Was a die-hard android user for years, tried an iPhone, actually quite liked it but had the opportunity to switch to a pixel once again and I'm happy to be back but I must say iPhones really are leaps ahead in certain instances
I switched from iPhone to the Pixel 8 six months ago... Had a green line down my screen for the last 3 months and my screen routinely spazzes out.
TH-cam does it's own thing and flips the screen whenever it wants.
Not sure if my next phone will be another android or not, but it certainly won't be a Pixel.
Do top 10 android phoens so far, from each range
I’m a photographer and I switched from a Pixel 8 Pro to an iPhone 16 Pro Max and it’s been a great experience. Camera is amazing and battery life is unbelievably good. Everything is instant, the processor is so much better so I can edit photos with ease. Very happy with my switch.

Apps passwords get transferred too ?
Is there a way to transfer all the passwords you may have in apple to android?
You can just switch with a normal wire or via wifi (which will be slower)
