Hi all! I will be going through the comments after work, but I have read a few about the animation speed. Both the Pixel and S24U were already set to 0.5x animation speed through developer settings 😎 Thanks for watching and subscribe for more!
Got my first pixel 6 a few days ago... It took me having the phone in my hands to truly understand what people mean by *the pixel experience* This level of software optimisation and fluidity on such a pretty OS.... am locked in
This is exactly what I was trying to convey in the video. You just can't feel it until you use it for yourself. Love my S24U, iPhone is fine, but the Pixel is my favorite for me personally.
@@lemont64 every time you get a new phone you have this SAME experience. It's only after you try and take the phone to the beach, use it in a loud coffee shop, take it to a Steele shopping center, that you truly understand it. It's kind of like getting married... All good until there is pressure... and then you find out the strength of the relationship. For me Google has not lived up to what they promised while we were still dating. 😀
As an ex-Samsung user that switched to Pixel, the Pixel experience is great and smooth. However, it loses a lot of useful features from OneUI, which I find unfortunate.
@Imran315243, the proper one-handed mode, pro mode in camera app, infinite amounts of customization (fonts, live wallpapers, etc), and definitely more features.
@@joonasenckell, the proper one-handed mode, window-mode, pro mode in camera, and the customization options. There are definitely more features, but that is what I can think of.
After being an Apple Fanboy for about 13 years, I finally switched to the Pixel 8 Pro last year and I have not regretted it. I'm never going back to the walled garden after finally liberating myself.
i got the opportunity to use OP 12 and oh my god the latest Oxy OS made the phone insane , godlike fluidity, animations , optimisation, its phenomenal only thing that need to be apprached would be the camera.
I want the OP13 but they have no trade in value to other companies and only have 4 OS updates which isn't bad but again doesn't help any resale value .
@@Mike_Z28 brooo when I bought my OP12 I thought it was pretty cool they were offering €980 in trade in value for a 24 ultra. I thought to myself what if I wanted to go the other way, so I went on the Samsung site and went to the trade in bit to the drop down menu and... No OnePlus phones at all. Whyyyy
Using Pixel 9 Pro XL since it was launched. Very smooth and never lag. No overheat. Great camera. Battery life is great. Just love it! I was using iPhone 15 Pro Max before switching.
I got the 9 Pro XL from Best Buy open box, Black Friday, $75 trade in for a damaged Pixel 7, grand total less than $700...with free 24 month financing on the Best Buy card. If you're not in a hurry and watch and wait you can often snag a great deal.
The S24U has a significant issue with motion photos, making it challenging to capture good motion shots, especially when my daughter is playing indoors or outdoors. Additionally, the phone is a bit heavy and becomes difficult to manage for extended periods. Even in slightly low-light conditions, the photos tend to come out noisy. This is particularly noticeable in indoor winter photos taken under home lighting conditions.
@@Everyday_Legends don’t know why most of the youtube reviewers won’t mention it, i have marked some youtubers mention this, i will definitely check their reviews now onwards. Especially yours when S25 series launches, I purchased pixel 9 pro for testing yesterday and i can see huge difference in image quality, processing and the looks especially when taking pictures indoors and inside home light conditions in winter season. I was shocked seeing the results. S24 ultra photos has noise and blown white colours. The phone is good in full day light condition but it is worst in low light situations especially during winter times in Europe when sunset will be soon. Please cover this in reviews, this helps a lot for buyers like me, i was not believing dxomark reviews but after using s24 ultra standing in 27th position and pixel 9 pro in 2nd position. Now I feel they are genuine. Definitely many of the you-tubers don’t mention this kind of reviews in their camera section. Thank you so much covering this.
Yeah. S23U here and Samsung has still yet to fix the stutter lag in all its phones. Love their flagships but the unreliability when it comes to moving subjects and its ancient implementation of animations (still linear), makes me want to look at other options. Probably the next Vivo X Ultra model
Hey! Like you, I've been a Pixel fan since the Nexus days. I only deviated once to try a Samsung a while ago and switched back to Pixel. I currently own, and love, the Pixel 9 Pro. I, like you, am based on the East coast of Florida. Keep up the good work.
They already got their hardware right with Pixel 9. TSMC+Tensor next year would be the best Tensor Pixel would possibly have. Add it with Stock Android 16 then boom. I'm excited for what they will be cooking for their 10th gen of Pixel Devices.
@@Messibenzema1127 we don't know yet, but Google had already a reputation of poor Leak control of their devices. You might see leaks in the upcoming months. 🤣
Best camera on the market.. In stores, in the United States I've said this on every video about phones this year, i keep the iPhone 15pm, and this year went from a 1+ 12, took a step back for the S24 Ultra, and then on pixel release day traded the ultra in for the Pixel 9 XL pro. The Pixel is wonderful and excellent. It wins in everything that matters to me, snapdragon vs tensor does NOT matter. Pixel 9 is the best overall Android sold in the States, it's really not close.
I suggest you trying the front cam video recording in nighttime without the direct light source. You'll be impressed with the amount of wild noise. Please cover this in your next video(s), Google must fix this finally! The issue is not only with the front cam tho, but it shows the worst performance.
I've owned the Pixel 6 Pro, 7, and now the 9 Pro XL. I can't believe how much I like the new one. Finally no heat issues, no face recognition or fingerprint issues, a battery that lasts all day, and a fast, bright and beautiful display.
Exactly my feelings. It doesn't look like a big upgrade on paper, but the 9 Pro XL is such a refined Pixel. Battery, screen, fingerprint sensor. It feels like Google actually listened to feedback and gave us the 9 Series.
I love this comparison because I knew there was something different about the pixel from all other android phones. I have an s23 and love samsung for some reasons but its something about that smoothness that makes it feel like the pixels phones are better.
I'm glad the comparison helped! My video today does the same with the iPhone 16PM and the Pixel 9 pro XL. It's even smoother than the iPhone! Thanks for watching and subscribe for more 😎
@@Everyday_Legends Thats crazy... I just like the extra stuff the samsung phone comes with plus faster processor as you can see in the video. Man if Google allows some third party apps like one hand operation or good lock and work on that G processor.... Im all over that thing! Hands down would be the best phone
Thanks for the video. I really enjoy your content. I've had my pixel 9 Pro XL since it dropped and I love it so far. There's just something about this phone. I have quite a few phones in My arsenal from flagships to mid-rangers to budgets and believe me this is the first phone I pick up everyday before I go out.
I feel the same way. I figured I would stick with my S24U, but nope. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is just one of those things that looks mediocre on paper, but you have to use it to understand. Glad you enjoy my videos! If you aren't yet subscribed, hit that button 😎
@Everyday_Legends Me to I thought I'd stick with my S24 Plus as my Daily Driver because it took the place of my Pixel 8 pro but once I used my Pixel 9 Pro XL that took the place of my S24 Plus 😂 Weird huh? See you understand it's just something that you have to try.
My only problem with owning a Pixel over a Samsung for the camera is using GCam on Samsung and getting the best of both hardware and software processing. GCam is in a good place now where all your Samsung camera lenses work, night mode and portrait work, and it even supports HDR video, all with Google's image processing. It takes less than 2 minutes to set up, especially if you just download a config for your phone. On the software side, pretty much all of Samsung's duplicate apps can be disabled and never interracted with. You can even fully disable Bixby with just a button tap. Is it a hassle? Sure. Is it better if they weren't there in the first place? Sure. But if you prefer Samsung, it's manageable.
Hey! I've been using ported Google camera since 2016! And I've been using Pixel Custom ROMs for several devices - Nokia, Samsung, Cherry Mobile, etc for 6 years now. So oh yes, I have always had that Pixel Experience. But still I want to try a real Pixel Phone.
I have had my Pixel 6 Pro and for me it seems more natural for me. I have tried the iPhone 2 times and it just does not feel the same, Pixel all the way great video!!
I've been a die hard Samsung guy for years and just recently decided to try the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I love it. At the moment, I have no plans on ever going back to Samsung.
I'm thinking of moving from Samsung to Pixel at my next upgrade, but do need to point out that the first 6 "pixel exclusive" features listed are available on my mid tier Samsung A54.
I switched from Samsung to Google last year. Went from the S20+ to the Pixel 8 Pro and now the Pixel 9 pro XL. It's definitely worth the switch. The pixel software is way more useful day to day imo. I tried out the S24 and it's alright but pixel 9 definitely has the edge imo
The only thing that I am thinking of is how that mid CPU will perform after 3 or more years of major upgrades. Having the latest CPU might not help you in the short term, but in the long term it will be more powerful than a mid CPU like the pixel has.
I've been really happy with my Pixel 9 Pro XL, but it definitely has worse bluetooth range than my 7 Pro. All the updates thus far have mentioned Bluetooth range fixes but none of them have solved the issue.
Before, I use xperia phones, not until I had my first pixel which is the 3XL. Man, the simplicity and fluidity it gives to me when using it is so great. For me, once you go pixel , theres no going back 😁 thats just for me and Im happy with my p8pro now. great video @Everyday Legends. #teampixel 😁
As huge as the notch was on the Google pixel 3 XL, I miss that phone a ton! It was one of my favorite pixels and that squeeze function was extremely useful. Thank you so much for watching and subscribe for more 😎
@@Everyday_Legends yeah, eventhough it has the huge notch in it, but whats inside it is truly amazing. The dual selfie cam, until now its just as amazing than my p8pro. I still use it as my backup phone now. Keep uploading more about pixels 😁👍
that might be true but i dont care or want featsures. whuch makes the os heavier and slower and i want no bloat. i want a good preforming os with superior battery optimazation which google got. its just sad that tensor is holding back this phone
I switched to Pixel from Samsung back in like april-may and don't regret the decision one bit. The overall software experience of the OS is so much smoother and consistent than it ever was on Samsung with One UI. As much as I miss Good Lock, some things from Good Lock can be achieved with other applications and/or methods such as ADB/Shkizuku or even root. I daily drive my Pixel rooted. Heck, I'm currently running Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1 rooted and have no problems whatsoever.
While I do have the Pixel 9 Pro, I've still been using my S23 Ultra and it's been disappointing with the bugs but I believe I have a bad device. My watch faces keep resetting on their own, multitasking with apps leaves the frame of the UI on my screen once I close the multitasking screens. So far, no major issues with my P9P.
I've got a Pixel 7. Works great and takes great pictures. I'm not a kid playing games on a phone. Calls, texting, pictures, Waze and Google maps, web searching, and asking Google questions. It's flawless.
These are all great phones. But for me with bow quickly AI is moving, I didn't want to be locked into the only AI in Gemini I don't know what's going to happen in the next year or two, and I wanted to be sure that I had a chipset that would handle it, not a marketing chipset which is what Google has seemed to be doing. Again those are wonderful phones and only time will tell if I'm right.
Getting Google assistant to voice mesage in whatsapp in A14 proved challenging for a while. Most iPhone users would not want this level of config and is def not a 'it just works'. I have an iphone and a Pixel btw so have experienced using both.
User experience will vary of course, but I can’t get over how well my pixel functions for speech to text versus iOS. Siri commands and speech to text is borderline useless to attempt on my 15 Pro Max which is ridiculous for such a pricey phone. As well, someone once told me that when you notice the slight shutter or delayed response from Samsung’s UI/skin vs stock Android you can’t ignore it. I always go back to a Pixel and always find it such a clean snappy and logical OS.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the only one that has made me put my Samsung to the side. Pixel 9 Pro XL and iPhone 16 Pro Max has been the best combo ever to me.
I've now owned the Pixel 8 Pro (which is my backup) and the Pixel 9 pro XL and it's definitely been the best android experience I've had. Sticking with Pixel for the foreseeable future
@jackmemphis777 I agree their Android is better and has no bloat ware. Plus I have the watch and buds pro so I don't plan on changing back to Samsung any time soon.
@@40somethingmanchild which version of the watch do you have? My SO has the pixel buds pro and they work great but I prefer over ear. Am thinking about getting the pixel watch 2 or 3 though
@@jackmemphis777 I have the first model. It's great, however I would recommend the 3 (larger size) if you have large wrists as the 1 and 2 only come in small sizes. I like the smaller size as I have small wrists and big watches look stupid on me. The replaceable bands, whilst proprietary, are brilliant. I have the included silicone one, a fabric one and a leather one. They are very easy to swap too. The only thing I didn't like about the watch 1 is the battery life, but that has improved with recent software updates.
@@40somethingmanchild I used the Samsung galaxy watch for a few years then just stopped using it after switching to pixel 8 pro. The Pixel watch is the best looking smart watch on the market imo. The 3 looks nice but the 2 is super low in price rn
This is a good review, and agree, very nice phone! But until the Pixel gets something like Dex which I use everyday? Not interested. The features, however, are very nice.
For years I've loved my Samsung phones, however my last samsung phone made me call it quits from samsung for good. I've had a galaxy S22 ultra (8gb ram model) since launch and its fully updated to one ui 6.1 and I experience lag, stutters, and sometimes issues where ill literally have the entire phone freeze and lock up when pressing the volume button. about a week ago I made a last resort to fully factory restore the phone and hope that would fix my issues, and nope I was wrong. I went and got a google pixel 9 pro XL and I haven't had a single one of these weird software issues that I've had with my S22 ultra. I still have my S22 since its fully paid off and keep it as a backup and for the 100x zoom camera, but in terms of software, google knows best in my honest opinion.
@Everyday_Legends I still hope that the new one ui 7 will remedy the software issues on my S22, that way I'll have a perfect non laggy backup phone as well. But yes I'm absolutely loving my pixel and it's nice not having to have one set of apps from google and one set of apps from Samsung
@12:45 those "Google exclusive features are in Samsung phones" pixel 9 pro xl made a big improvement, I would say maybe the 1st time that's actually worth trying
I am just happy with my OnePlus 12 after debloating it completely from adb shell terminal. I have features which I absolutely need like app locker, much better battery charging and backup. Top of the line SoC with no heating issues. Yes I won't get instant firmware updates, or as many as pixel does, but if you are an android, you already know firmware updates are really not interesting anymore
nice video, i use the pixel 8 pro since it was released and for business i use the s24u my gf uses an iphone 15 pro. maybe the pixel 9 pro is a better choice but it is what it is.. i love the p8pro... the design, the camera... its classy. but the performance gives some headaches. including some crap things that happens, that i dont experienced with the s24 ultra. with the p8pro sometimes when i just listen to some vms ive received, the speakers dont react, the screen turns black and some seconds later the speakers and display turned on. when i watch youtube videos, sometime the app closed and when i wanted to switch back, the phone freezes within the taskmanager for a couple of seconds, followed by some studder. someting ive never felt with the s24 ultra. there is another feel to the s24 ultra when i switch to it... if feels more responsive and snappier, never crashes or freezes or does something weird. feels more stable. and now the hard point... i dont like the s24 ultra camera... i guess if u are a professional, u can find some value, im just a point and shot dude... i was on vacation with my gf and weve take tons of videos and fotos. yes the pixel 8 pro makes some good shots but the iphone 15 pro makes by far the best shots... weve tried to film and make some fotos of a sunset... the reflections in the water could not be handled by the pixel 8 pro, there are some blurry stuff going on... and of course the water looks not great too beside the iphone... when i watch the content ive created standalone on my phone it looks great but when i switch over to the iphone... the pictures are insane good. so i dont know if the p9pro fixes some issues... time will tell. in the two weeks of vacation i asked myself to turn over to apple. but maybe the next pixel looks better and will be better and i will give em a shot... i dont like the look of the p9pro its bulky, the cam department looks bad for me. soooo maybe the pixel beats samsung and apple in some stuff but my experience is... (fot the pro) it feels not like rounded system, bugs here and there, performance drops here and there... the s24 ultra is just a brick, but the display and performance is outstanding beside the p8pro the iphone on the other side runs like warmed up butter. as i asked my gf if she has some studder or weird stuff while using the iphone and she said, never had one issue, everything is very responsive, the pics are epic and for her it feels like the best phone she ever had and came from a iphone 11 before that it was a xiaomi mi 11 i guess or something like that.
I like my s22 ultra, but it's starting to noticeably slow down and there is just so much bloatware on Samsung phones - Google apps and app store, Samsung apps and app store and you can't uninstall them.
The google ecosystem it’s unbeatable, Yes apple has great exclusive apps but the reality is we all use at least some Google apps to get our work done, having those apps within google makes everything smooth. By the way, Google has way more sound features for notifications/texting/calling than Samsung , sorry not sorry
Switched from Samsung to the Pixel when the Pixel 8 Pro came out and now I'm using Pixel 9 Pro xl. The Pixel experience is way better than the S series. To mention some of my favorites, the magic eraser is great for taking out license plates on car pics, the call screening is the best in the industry and it also syncs with all the google apps quickly and effectively without any issues -- google docs and photos go to the cloud seamlessly. I used to have so many sync issues on the Samsung with photos. Samsung is still great software but it's overloaded with apps that are redundant and less useful, whereas the pixel is geared towards helping with everything, especially everyday tasks
The long cam bump isnt for me! I had pixel 6a and text got stuck on the display! Only 60 hertz screen! But that is 6a! 8 and 9 are so much better but im satisfied with my xiaomi 12 nowadays!
Any place i can get that red and blue waves wallpaper? I really like it. Great video! Really enjoying my first pixel device this year. I do wish the stock launcher allowed for more customization though, i find myself wanting more but everything just feels clunkier when i use 3rd party launchers on the pixel.
My go to phones are pixels and Samsung. I still prefer pixel over Samsung, although i would still buy a Samsung. I actually like them both . My pixels have never slowed down or become laggy. I still own a pixel 2 and its still quick and buttery smooth
A lot of those features you mentioned (Magic Eraser, Call Screening, Gemini, etc.) are also available on Samsung. I'm curious as to why they're considered advantages for the Pixel. Are they more optimized on Pixel or something? Great video man!
Probably grabbing the 9pro XL in the next 2 months once I pay off my 15 pro max. I go back n forth with Samsung and apple. Love both but never tried google. I love their software a lot better than Samsung from what I’m seeing.
You are going to love it. I love all tech, mostly androids, but there's something special about Pixel software. You really have to use it to know what I mean 😎
It really depends on what you value. Want the better and brighter screen, camera, and performance? Go with the Pro. Just need a solid phone to use that is still much better than a lot of the market? 9 will be more than enough. Also, not sponsored btw, but Google is running some deals right now for Black Friday so go check it out :) Thanks for watching and subscribe for more
I have always used an Andoid phone. This year i used the S24 Ultra and got tired of a large phone. I then switched to the base s24 with 256gb. I was completely happy keeping that phone. I also have the watch ultra, buds pro 3 and Tab s9+. So i have the samsung ecosystem. I tried the oneplus 12 and while it is a great phone the Ultra just felt better. T mobile have an awesome trade in for the pixel 9. So i traded a s10e for a pixel 9 pro. This phone is great. I'm not a gamer but for everyday use in averaging 8+ hours of screen time. The camera is great and it just works. I sold my buds pro and use my Jabra elite 8 headphones. I often use my pixel more than my tablet for media consumption. The screen is bright and clear. I'm hopeful that i will keep this phone until samsung creates a small s24 ultra. The pixel 9 had me never wanting a large phone for pro features
I had a Pixel 3a and still has a Pixel 6a (my secondary phone now) and I now own an iPhone 16 and Watch Series 10 and can’t wait to go back to Google. Google Pixel OS has much better UX. iOS 18 is a mess with quite a few bugs. Bugs aside, the keyboard is the worse thing I’ve experienced even after the latest patches that improved multilingual support - no numb row - no comma or dot keys on default layout - aggressive and not smart enough autocorrector - selecting text is a mess sometimes - holding a key to access signs like í, ï, etc sometimes takes so long for no reason The Messages app is abysmal, no idea how people use that in the US. I could continue for ages but have to go. There are good things too of course, but UX goes for Pixel hands down.
@@Manuel-rl6um 😂 nice. Guess i spent too much time on iOS. Got few issues with pixel as well. Amongst them there are issues with tap to wake/rise to wake, and one of the really bothering one, when I snooze an alarm, the bedtime mode stops. 🥹
@@DeleriumWinds ops, I can't see my reply for some reason, It probably got deleted, oh well haha. I had alarm bugs on Pixel with Pixel 6a + Pixel Watch 2 synced. Alarm on Series Watch 10 + iPhone 16 works much better. But yeah, as I was saying, Pixel OS is simpler and offers a better UX for me, with the keyboard and the Message app as the 2 main issues with iOS user experience.
I'm currently looking to upgrade my s20 and have been really considering a pixel. The only thing leaning me to an s24/25 are the Samsung tags I'm using. Unless there's a way they can be used with a Pixel, I will have to upgrade to a new galaxy phone 😶
I don't own any Samsung tags, but from what I looked online it appears you cannot use them with your Pixel device. But hey, the S25U is just right around the corner! 😎
"Damn. This looks good, and I've heard good things about Pixel hones since a long time ago. Let me check the price." "Yeahhh, that's not gonna work." (For some reason, Pixels are way more expensive than Galaxy S phones here...)
When they put in a possibility for sd cards, I'll seriously consider it. Got roped into an iPhone by my ex, and apart from a few features that are great, overallI miss android (particularly the keyboard, ios is horrible). And I can not get over the constant plug to upgrade icloud storage, which I suspect google will be guilty of as well. Smaller things like cutout camera holes are abhorrent, and I prefer the fingerprint reader not on the screen, I'll probably get a sony next time.
I know a lot of people will come to defend samsung, but all of my friends who use them long term have nothing but issues. Ive not had any issues with pixel. Overtime all my gripes get smoothed out. The phone gets more enjoyable to use overtime not worse.
From my experience pixels get better with age . They don't slow down or ever get laggy . I have a newish pixel device, plus an old pixel 2. My pixel 2 is still quick and buttery smooth ☺️
I will have an S24U video for next week with a similar theme to this one. I love my S24U, but it has its shortcomings. The Pixel isn't perfect, but that smooth user experience makes up for a lot of it's shortcomings. Everyone has their preference. Thanks for watching and subscribe for more 😎
@@marksouthwell4490 Hello. The old mighty Pixel 5 (secondhand) is available here for $120, and brand new Pixel 2 for $100. Which of these two is better? Don't suggest anything else, please.
Google pixel 8 gave me nothing but issues including green glitching screen and i never dropped it.. one thing I can say about pixel is the camera is out of this world.. even for none pro models
I traded in my s24u for p9pro xl to try something new....biggest mistake. Cant wait for the s25u to come out. Pixel is a very competent machine but missing to many features ive grown accustomed to. If it were $200 cheaper might not be so bad. And dont get me started on the watch.
Many people don’t understand that.Samsung has so many useful features and good lock is unmatched and takes the one ui experience to a whole different level without mentioning the s pen support.
I think the price was a miss. If they want to charge those prices, they need more. The S24U is insanely expensive as well, but it hurts less when Samsung offers the best trade in offers of any manufacturer and it's basically a Swiss army knife of phones. I am also very excited for the S25U! Thanks for watching and subscribe for more 😎
Hi have a pixel 9 rn, I am ok with some of Google's software however I honestly prefer OP software over pixel. Also wondering if any one else with a P9 has had any strange bluetooth bugs?
I have the pixel 8 and had the 6 before that like apple everything just transferred over no worries all u need is your Gmail id and your good to go👌.the one thing I would like is a bit more customisation but apart from that I love my pixel.
DOUBT. Let's see tho Okay after watching, the camera is the only thing I really feel I'm missing on the 24 Ultra. That said, I do enjoy the saturated colors. Coming from a 15 pro max, my phone feels even more fluid, since I reduced animations.
That Pixel camera is just so good. Also, I should have mentioned in the video, but both phones were set at 0.5x animations via developer settings. The pixel is clearly smoother, but the S24U is definitely more powerful. I love both, but prefer the pixel for my daily. Thanks for watching! 😎
Hello. The old mighty Pixel 5 (secondhand) is available here for $120, and brand new Pixel 2 for $100. Which of these two is better? Don't suggest anything else, please.
Not trying to be a troll here, but it seems to me pixels have always come with a catch. The purposefully put in cheap hardware and pretend they are going to make up for it later on with software. Bad radios, bad cooling, very low grade chipsets. After having been through this a couple of times I decided to go with a OnePlus phone. I couldn't be happier and this virtually nothing from the pixel even though it was a great software experience. ... Oh yes, and I realize they say they have fixed most of those things. But the tensor chip is very slow, and despite what they say about optimization I'm not buying it. The Gemini stuff featured in the video works perfectly on my OnePlus phone. I miss almost none of the AI except for one or a few little things. But I have a lot of NEW stuff that I didn't before.
I was an iPhone user forever. Then got a Samsung. Hated it. The pixel, however, was in a league of its own in terms of being a true smartphone. My pixel 8 pro unfortunately broke, and now I’m back on iPhone. It’s a disaster. Pixels have the best OS, best camera by a mile, and best keyboard. It’s just a very responsive phone. I still prefer the iPhone build quality. But iOS is just a decade behind Android at this point. It feels painfully slow.
I would never switch to the Pixel for the same reason I'd never switch to an IPhone. There's a lot of QIL features baked within One UI that I'd definitely feel like I'm missing out on, plus it has a more robust ecosystem. Can't wait for One UI 7 to come though so this more fluid argument can be put to bed.
@rajnibrown2194 One man's bloatware another man's utility (i am another man) Anything you don't use on your phone can be considered bloatware. I will not deny that Samsung is lagging behind in cameras though, but I'm not a big camera guy so its good enough for my use.
@macrochipped it doesn't matter what you call it... Bloatware is bloatware no matter what you decide to call it... If you think they are useful, that's on you but it still remains a fact that it is indeed bloatware
There are a whole lot of things to appreciate from Samsung devices. No hate from me, I love my S24U. I have a video about it next week so subscribe for more 😎
Last year I upgraded from my trusty Note 9 to a 15 pro max. I already want to return to Android when I upgrade again in a couple years. Basically I decided that I want a Pixel, but only if their chipset is top notch. So when I'm ready to upgrade when the Pixel 11 pro comes out, and they have top notch hardware, I'm going to get it. Otherwise I'll stick to Samsung. Hardware is still very important to me. I want a Pixel, but I prioritize speed. All google has to do is switch to Snapdragon. Or actually hire competent engineers and actually make Tensor relevant. But they can't keep pumping out sub par chips while charging flagship prices. They need to face reality. Either they admit to themselves and everyone else they can't make top quality chips, and then PRICE THEIR PHONES ACCORDINGLY, or they admit defeat and switch to Snapdragon.
@@Everyday_Legends Thanks friend! I'm excited for the series 10! Honestly if I wasn't a phone gamer I'd probably just get the 9! But I love phone gaming so I want the fastest :D

As an ex-Samsung user that switched to Pixel, the Pixel experience is great and smooth. However, it loses a lot of useful features from OneUI, which I find unfortunate.
Can you give some examples?
@@Imran315243 Yep, call recording without announcement or beep.

It's always good to try something new! 👍
i got the opportunity to use OP 12 and oh my god the latest Oxy OS made the phone insane , godlike fluidity, animations , optimisation, its phenomenal only thing that need to be apprached would be the camera.
I want the OP13 but they have no trade in value to other companies and only have 4 OS updates which isn't bad but again doesn't help any resale value .
I will be buying the 13 so look out for that video in the future. It will be my first OnePlus device! 😎

Using Pixel 9 Pro XL since it was launched. Very smooth and never lag. No overheat. Great camera. Battery life is great. Just love it! I was using iPhone 15 Pro Max before switching.
Welcome to Android! 😎
My bro i am still on a pixel 4xl and it IS great
Experiencing the same with my 9 Pro XL
I do enjoy this phone but for $1,379 there's a lot to be desired among the competition but it is still a great phone.
Perfectly put. Way overpriced, but then again....most phones are these days haha
It's should be priced 750 max
I got the 9 Pro XL from Best Buy open box, Black Friday, $75 trade in for a damaged Pixel 7, grand total less than $700...with free 24 month financing on the Best Buy card. If you're not in a hurry and watch and wait you can often snag a great deal.
I just picked up the 9 pro xl 256 on Amazon "like new" for $799. Not a blemish and it works great!! Also took advantage of the 12-months no interest.
Pixels are great when taking fast motion photos
Yup, Samsung really needs to look at this.

Love to hear it! Hi from the Space Coast 🚀

They already got their hardware right with Pixel 9. TSMC+Tensor next year would be the best Tensor Pixel would possibly have. Add it with Stock Android 16 then boom. I'm excited for what they will be cooking for their 10th gen of Pixel Devices.
Will the design of the pixel 10 will remain the same as the 9 one?
@@Messibenzema1127 we don't know yet, but Google had already a reputation of poor Leak control of their devices. You might see leaks in the upcoming months. 🤣
I have the Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. It's going to be difficult to not buy the Pixel 10 as well, it's the best phone in the industry rn
Waiting for Black Friday sale and getting my 1st Google phone! Pixel 9 Pro ftw
Tomorrow!!! 😎
The new tensor will come with a 3nm process so hopefully it will please the benchmark lovers
They will never be happy though 🤣 let's be honest. Can't wait for that chip! 😎
Best camera on the market.. In stores, in the United States
I've said this on every video about phones this year, i keep the iPhone 15pm, and this year went from a 1+ 12, took a step back for the S24 Ultra, and then on pixel release day traded the ultra in for the Pixel 9 XL pro. The Pixel is wonderful and excellent. It wins in everything that matters to me, snapdragon vs tensor does NOT matter.
Pixel 9 is the best overall Android sold in the States, it's really not close.
Same thoughts. I absolutely love my Pixel 9 Pro camera 😎
You're a very good reviewer please keep up the work💐🥳
Very kind, thank you! 😎
I suggest you trying the front cam video recording in nighttime without the direct light source. You'll be impressed with the amount of wild noise. Please cover this in your next video(s), Google must fix this finally! The issue is not only with the front cam tho, but it shows the worst performance.
Hmmm I wasn't aware. I am making a Pixel 7 pro video and will include a clip in the camera test section 😎
Using Pixel 7 after Pixel 3a... Just Awesome Experience overall...
I am getting pixel and already have iPhone as my primary. Best of both worlds
@@laurenzo_r one hand operation on my S24U is the thing I miss most when using my Pixel. Underrated feature!
Hey, perfectly fair points. I've got my inner-samsing fanboy video dropping next week haha don't you worry. I love my S24U 😎
I went from pixel to One Ui recently. It's a struggle. Pixel is so much more intuitive to use. Simple and just works.
I've been a die hard Samsung guy for years and just recently decided to try the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I love it. At the moment, I have no plans on ever going back to Samsung.
The moment Google decided not to use Snapdragon cheapset, it became a No-No in the minds of many, including myself.
Hmm I haven't tested Bluetooth range, but for how I use it I have been fine. I'd be curious to find out more about this....

Only regret i am facing from samsung owner topixel is the software .. pixel ui its really below average

that might be true but i dont care or want featsures. whuch makes the os heavier and slower and i want no bloat. i want a good preforming os with superior battery optimazation which google got. its just sad that tensor is holding back this phone
@@gockartzz8272Yea that's the thing. It's not bloat to many. Your opinion is biased, and irrelevant.
The speed of the Samsung will only be seen in rendering a video or uploading something. The general moving around the OS, will be roughly the same.
I've got a Pixel 7. Works great and takes great pictures. I'm not a kid playing games on a phone. Calls, texting, pictures, Waze and Google maps, web searching, and asking Google questions. It's flawless.
Same with my 7a, I honestly can't fault it. It's so quick and smooth and clever with its AI smarts
@@marksouthwell4490yeah and the 7a is their budget version and it still blows most other phones out of the water in terms of software and AI features
Definitely fair. I have a more pro-iPhone video coming out Friday so subscribe for more 😎

9 series? What color? You are going to love it! 😎

It’s sad to hear Samsung has let you down so much, but glad the Pixel is a better fit for you! 😎
The google ecosystem it’s unbeatable,
Yes apple has great exclusive apps but the reality is we all use at least some Google apps to get our work done, having those apps within google makes everything smooth.
Only reason not to buy a pixel is if you're a heavy gamer , which most people aren't. These phones are amazing at software
I got pixel 6 pro and the only problem that I have is I don't have 5G here in the Philippines, this phone is unlocked version came from U.S
The 6 Pro is a great phone! 😎
Any place i can get that red and blue waves wallpaper? I really like it. Great video! Really enjoying my first pixel device this year. Most reviews of Pixel phones are about the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9;Pro XL, but what about the Pixel 9 ? Worth buying?
It really depends on what you value. Want the better and brighter screen, camera, and performance? Go with the Pro. The pixel 9 had me never wanting a large phone for pro features
i'll just go ahead and say i've owned a pixel 8 pro for almost 1 year now and i can't wait to go back to iphone :)
I had a Pixel 3a and still has a Pixel 6a (my secondary phone now) and I now own an iPhone 16 and Watch Series 10 and can’t wait to go back to Google.
Google Pixel OS has much better UX.
iOS 18 is a mess with quite a few bugs.
Bugs aside, the keyboard is the worse thing I’ve experienced even after the latest patches that improved multilingual support
- no numb row
- no comma or dot keys on default layout
- aggressive and not smart enough autocorrector
- selecting text is a mess sometimes
- holding a key to access signs like í, ï, etc sometimes takes so long for no reason
The Messages app is abysmal, no idea how people use that in the US.

"Damn. This looks good, and I've heard good things about Pixel hones since a long time ago. Let me check the price."
"Yeahhh, that's not gonna work."
(For some reason, Pixels are way more expensive than Galaxy S phones here...)
Yeah, price is ridiculous!
Yes, I am happy to switch from samsung s23u to pixel pro
Thanks for watching and subscribe for more 😎
Giveaway bro haha awesome content as always
haha maybe one day! Thanks for watching 😎
@ Can you do a comparison with the iphone 14 base and 16 base? would really love to see one on your channel 🙏🏼 that would be 🔥
i think that pixel animation not fluid but faster. you can do same in s24 too, just set animation to 0.5x

Do we need subscription and pay monthly to ai if we buy pixel?
Hi have a pixel 9 rn, I am ok with some of Google's software however I honestly prefer OP software over pixel. Also wondering if any one else with a P9 has had any strange bluetooth bugs?
No issues on my end!
I respect your opinion but I'm definitely not picking a Pixel device over my S23 Ultra. I actually have the Pixel 8 Pro
Totally get it 😎 also just checked your channel out. Good stuff! Just subbed
@Everyday_Legends thanks I really appreciate that. God bless you 😇🙏
I have the pixel 8 and had the 6 before that like apple everything just transferred over no worries all u need is your Gmail id and your good to go👌.the one thing I would like is a bit more customisation but apart from that I love my pixel.
Can't you just Install pixel's camera app in other android phones. There's ports available for pretty much every phones
True, but many times they don't work as well as one would like. But, yeah there are workarounds. Gotta love android!
@@Everyday_Legends Yep! Android all the way
Is pixel phone using sony sensor? Or samsung sensor? For the cameras
Friend, where can I get your iPhone wallpaper from the beginning of the video please? 🙏🙏🙏
DOUBT. Let's see tho
Okay after watching, the camera is the only thing I really feel I'm missing on the 24 Ultra.
Also using a Pixel 9 Pro XL in Florida
Greetings from the Space Coast! 🚀

If those are your only two choices, without a doubt get the Pixel 5. Check into grapheneOS 😎
Circle to search it's available on Samsung as well..
Select text? Is that anything unique?
Fair points. If I could create my perfect phone, it would be pixel software and hardware from either Samsung or OnePlus 😎
Exactly how I feel too! Thanks for watching and subscribe for more 😎
I understand the reason behind using eye comfort, but please turn it off when filming a device, it's absolutely terrible to look at.
Yeah, this is something I caught after uploading. I have it set automatically and missed it. Thanks for the feedback! 😎
and the Pixel trade in is insane! Go Pixel, been addicted since Nexus!
Me too!!! 😎 Let's hope that Samsung can show us something great with the S25U soon!
Bloatware you should say. But Samsung is behind both when it comes to image quality

Let's see what Google does with the series 10 😎 good points!
@@Everyday_Legends Thanks friend! I'm excited for the series 10! Honestly if I wasn't a phone gamer I'd probably just get the 9! But I love phone gaming so I want the fastest :D
I have an iphone and a pixel i use the pixel alot for work and my iphone i prefer over the pixel.
No call recording allowed on pixel even with 3rd party apps. That alone enough to go with Samsung.
For sure an amazing feature!
