    How to max the $300 cashback for the EGA account? I don't have so many credit card bills to pay. Also, I do not have $30,000 credit limit. Thank you.

    Hi Demi, this is exactly the review Im looking for. Thanks so much for your time and sharing! Wondering about the following purchases, are there any cards available for cashback:
    1) income tax
    2) Neighbourhood malls merchants/suppliers as well as suppliers online orders (they usually only have paynow transfers which are not qualifying payments for cashback??)

    • @DemiZhuang

      Hello, income tax not that i know of for cashback. for miles people use services like cardup. PayNow transfers no eh. Use Googlepay sometimes you'll get scratch card for $X each time.

    Hi Demi, thank you for the video sharing 👍. Can you share what are the different GIRO that I can pay using the HSBC EGA to get the 1% cashback (can I use it to GIRO pax for Income Tax, Property Tax, School Fees, HSBC credit card bills and other CC bills etc). And how do I set it up.

    Hi demi! I’ve sign up for the sc smart card via your refferal. May i know if the sign up gift is the $288 that I will be getting if I spend $588 using that card? And also if this amount needs to be under the category that is eligible for the 6% cashback (mrt,subscriptions..etc)

    • @DemiZhuang

      Yup thats correct. No it doesnt have to be the 6% cashback merchants as long as its not under the excluded transations like insurance premium payments etcetc!

    Hi Demi, you mentioned the SC Smart Card is more for the 6% Cashback while it's a different story for Miles. Do you mean it's not worth redeeming Miles with this card? Thanks.

    • @DemiZhuang

      It depends on how much you can accumulate in the span of 3 years i suppose. The risk is that you might not accumulate enough points to redeem for miles since this card spending is so particular in order to enjoy 5.6 miles per dollar.

  • @Xamael666

    Btw, what do u mean by Redemption Page = 3 years? & the max points cap is 14,400 per month which will not rollover to the next month if the points are not redeemed? 😕

    • @DemiZhuang

      Ignore the redemption page, in the guide it's actually the link to the rewards redemption of SC. 14,400 additional points is the cap that you can earn in a month. Validity for the points is 3 years.

    for UOB absolute, recurring payment in SP app is counted online transaction? there is no catch for mobile/online transaction for this CC right, as long as it's charged?

    • @DemiZhuang

      yup! correct, as long as it doesnt fall under the few excluded transactions in the T&C, most of it should count for 1.7%.

    Hi Demi, great content! Can you recommend me a card that's good for fashion? Basically brands like H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Love Bonito, basically all the clothing labels. My job required me to buy a copious amount of clothes (not for my own wear), and the amount I have to spend can be anywhere between $1,000 to $10,000 a month. I'm most interested in air miles, but am happy with cash back as well. Thank you!

    • @DemiZhuang

      UOB Lady's selected category, HSBC Revolution, UOB Preferred Platinum, Citi Rewards + Instarem Amaze. Cashback cards can look at, UOB EVOL, UOB One CC (consistent spending required). You have to maximise accordingly for each of the cards. Maxed out on 1 move to the next etc that way you'll be able to optimise the returns u can get based on your spendings. Hope this helps.
