    Great video as always! May understand etc: if I spend $1000 this month, I get 5% cashback; will I be able to use this cashback ($50) to offset for this purchase when I made the bill payment? Or only eligible to offset next purchase?

    my credit card strategy is to flip and cancel all bank cards to farm sign up bonuses, and perhaps use a bank card with terrible or no sign up bonus like ICBC/bank of china/UOB for actual spend. That will net at least $1000 a year. $1500 in good years

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s fine as well. Though it’s always a possibility to be blacklisted from a bank and forever be ineligible for their cards.

      @@Sethisfy i will be happy to report to all and stop once the first bank blacklists me

      Was considering this too. Could you share how do you manage all the clawback provisions etc that every bank / moneysmart / singsaver have?

    • @1MW9
      @1MW9 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@joelpker there is usually no clawbacks for most banks. Citi sometimes require card to be held for 9 months. for other banks, just cancel and wait for a year before applying and you will be fine

      I still use it every now and then but it is really losing its appeal with its short expiry and the eventual drop to $1,500 cap per month

    hi I only get around 50 + 52 cashback from UOB one credit card quarterly, should I switch to EVOL? Sounds like I would earn more with EVOL (additionally its credited MONTHLY instead of QUARTERLY)

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah I prefer EVOL. If you don’t spend much on the merchants that UOB One gives extra cashback on then the base earn rate is only 3.33% vs 6.67% of EVOL

      @@Sethisfy Thank you the fast reply, I have 3 doubts here, hopefully you can help me out :)
      1) does insurance premium / SP utilities considered online payment for the $20 cashback for UOB EVOL?
      2) my contactless expenses are usually bus+mrt which hits around $100, is there anyway I can convert my online purchases into contactless payment?
      3) I see that you are using so many credit cards, isnt the credit cards annual fees going to eat up all the benefits they provide? For UOB ONE & EVOL its around $196++ close to $200 per annual for each card fee. Or is there a way to waive all the credit cards fee you're using? hence you are keeping so many? if so how are you doing it! :)

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      1) No
      2) Kris+ or ShopBack
      3) Most cards get waiver pretty easily
