For those who don't realize. the position in this video is famous for being one of the best in history. The audience threw gold coins at the players for being in that position
My friend is MUCH higher elo than myself, and we were playing a game. He was shocked when I managed to get myself in a position to checkmate in three. I didn't see it, I just got lucky... almost. I blundered and lost the game. He showed me afterwards and I was considerably disappointed in myself.
@@tharulgaming8228 more disappointing is when you are teabagging ur opponent in online chess by making 7 queens and you hear a game over sound with stalemate written on it
@@EliteCameramanfan32 lol i know that, but may i remind you that it is a 300 elo guy? I mean, have you ever seen a 300 elo perform a rook sacrifice with an actual process?
As a 2400 playing with friend I once calculated around 30-35 moves ahead and as I am executing my plan without thinking I blunder a knight and 2 pawns.
This is actually a real game, It's called the gold coin game played in 1912 with Frank Marshall (black) and Stefan Levitsky (white), it was played in Wrocław. It's actually called the gold coin game because people started throwing gold coins after the winning move. Im happy he used this position.
😂😂😂Very funny😆😆😆.This video seems to be saying "Never overestimate your enemy" Awesome👌.It also is a good example to never give up because we may end up as a winner in the end as long as we don't accept our defeat.
This is too funny!😂😂😂😂 I was dying of laughter when the 300 elo player said: Sun tzu once said: "Ur Opponent cant beat u if you beat yourself first"😂😂😂😂😂
unsolved mystery: if 2 players resign at the same time, is that a win-win or draw?
❤❤❤Perfect❤❤❤
😅😅maybe a draw
It would mean, one of them thinks they are in a checkmate, and the other thinks that they are in checkmate soon.
Draw like a drawn game😮
Both resign means they both accept defeat so either draw or 2 point for both the players.

realising you missed checkmate is the worst feeling ever, especially when you're playing face-to-face and a friend watching points it out
@@tharulgaming8228 Agreed
He thought it was mate in 3. But in reality he missed that he could’ve play Bxf1 salvaging the position. He’s not as high ELO as you think.
the most frustrating moment is when i make a got a very good plan and 300 elo player ruined it cuz "i just randomized the move 😃"

This move was actually the brilliant move from a real game called the "Gold coins game". People showered gold coins over the board after this move

another mystery: how did the 300 elo manage to survive that long and how did his rook end up there
I think he kept running…
because he sacrificed the rook if the 2600 ELO took with that center pawn right behind the king it would be triple fork watch carefully at 0:13
