As a former Airhog child who hasn't owned an RC plane since this thing is awesome. I've had it for around a month now and I literally keep it in my car charged up at all times lol. Sick vid bros.
Got one for Christmas, uh, for my kids. You can turn off the gyros/flight-assist by holding the stunt button and pressing the power button on the controller. To re-engage the assist you click the stunt button again. It’s great for recovering when I lose control in un-assisted flying.
Great review guys, seemed a little squirrely on the first flight, could of been the CG was off a little bit. I always tape a penny or two to the nose of these small planes, greatly improves the flight characteristics.....
OK so if you put the battery as far back as you can and cut a piece of vinyl into a circle and make a cone to fit onto the top of it you can fly more efficiently in high weather. I’ve owned four of these and highly recommend it!!
I just bought this today but I have a few DJI drones but I do like the toy grade planes just for fun. I wonder how this stands up to wind because it reminds me of the parrot disco. It looks sick that’s for sure and that auto gyro reminds me of the Corsair p51 war bird plane that I have but I’m here to see how it works. I just paid $37 for it so I might just keep it anyway.
@@Bright-Dog I flew it a few days ago and it is fast and reminds me of my little top race P51 but that one disables the safety and lets you barrel roll and all that but this one is still solid and for the price I paid I’m keeping it
Micro warbirds are nice tooo crashed it allot on purpose because i honestly don’t know how to land those due to the asphalt and tiny wheels still in one piece lol
Havent flown mine yet but good to see what its all about before i do. 1st it seem to fly better without landing gear. as noted it seemed tail heavy but not by much. could tape a couple pennies up under the nose maybe. also read in manual if you get to far away the controller beeps fast to tell you to turn back before you are out of range. and if you lose it and not sure where the plane beeps so its easier to find. thats good. 80 bucks new is a bit steep but price will come down when they can`t sell em and need to move the product. early adopters always pay for being an early adopter. like the airhog fliers they fly best in nearly zero wind so, not good idea to fly it in windy conditions.
Put an 800 mah battery in it and it will weigh the front end down! Thank me later for better flight and for longer flight times! I suggest a 3.7v 800mah JST connector from the hobby store for 13$
good idea. i may have some other batts i could look at around here. one thing I found out is the props get torn up on the tips whe the elevator is full down in a dive and you gun it the control rods get just enough in the area the props are spinning. may just cut the tips down so they dont fray? other than that i taped a nickel to the underside of the nose and balnces good. slightly climbs with full stick forward@@loganhouse6984
well now i want to get one! but i want to upgrade it to brushless and re enforce it with more carbon rods and see if it can go 200mph! lol it will need a gyro with the j sound lol.
Any 2 channel is never a best plane. Get a VolantexRC 4 channel @ $65-70 with radio and free shipping and returns! Flies much better and is more durable than I thought it would be. Still flying it after 2 months.
If you're starting out this is a good airplane if you want a better airplane than a Voltanex RC buy a Horizon Hobby RC Plane and a Spektrum controller then your in the game with the big boys but this is a great plane for a beginner a little fast but still good🛫
this was total crap, trust me, i've tried, and it always just stalls, it flew good, took at least 4 crashes, but then it went terrible, the propellors would cut themselves and the front landing gear snapped, and that was all on day one.

I’ve heard enough lol ordering one
Same boat here, it's what I thought air hogs were like as a child. I would have been amazed by this back then

that's great to know, i've been wondering if there was a way to do it
just got one on clearance for $25! cant wait to test it out

Hey guys, that is really hobby grade!! My next trip will be to Target!!! Thank you!!!

@@marfa_the_cat yes as long as it has the red JST connector
@@loganhouse6984every single one i find on amazon is simply too big, because the max you can fit is around 40mm x 20 mm x 6 mm?

the little flight controller would not except brushless motors i doubt. if so it wouldnt be toy grade.
yooo lets go! 😳
Y’all gotta do a Sky Viper Journey review so I know if it’s worth it or not🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bro I'm not lying I have this plane
connect another battery in parallel for better CG and longer fly time.
Can’t seem to find info on props size. Needs to get replacement props anyone have any information or recommendations for prop size
Ild probably break it in less then 30 seconds once it's taken off
They're 60 bux now at target 🎯...😊
even better!!
$45 now
79.99 here at target was being reviews before buying dsf not buying now lol ide ide robbed
Is it made of STYROFOAM!???
Ours came with 2 grey circles that look like they go on the toggles for throttle? But won't pop in...any idea what they're for
I also would like to know
Remove what’s on controller and then put the grey circles on.
@@curtwatson4376how?
Edit: nm i got it

Uhh it's a 4 channel
I got the spitfire it’s really good and easy to fly
Edit it crashed into tree 🌲
just joking nice job
Thanks, but I'll stick with Xk.
Way to handle those scissors ..wtf
Does it support RID? 😂
Got one for Christmas for my son, it didn't even get off the ground. Compete junk.

worst plane ever
Tail heavy!!!! put the lipo forder to the cockpit
I tried with a bigger battery and I think the gyro causes it. If you give it power while holding it the elevator go max up
