ive only been in the hobby for little over a year now. I started with the eflite cirrus sr22. now I have 26 different airplanes mostly jets. if you have some basic concept of aerodynamics and aeronautics or you're a savant you can fly a rc jet ( my second plane was eflite viper 70. still haven't crashed it :) ) most important thing I have found to remember is don't get slow in turns specially in a dirty configuration ( gear down flaps down) or you will stall it into the ground. this is whats called a "tip stall" which is really just a stall into a spin. if you are new, no less than 60% throttle in turns and no less than 20% on approach and landing. this has been my sure fire way of keeping my butt un puckered while flying rc jets as a beginner.
That’s how I lost my first jet. Freewing F-86. Maiden flight was great until I went to land. Turning on final the airspeed was apparently too slow and she screwed right into the ground. Lesson learned.
I have flown rc on and off for years and you really captured what it actually feels like to fly an edf, its tense and rewarding. I dont think edf is much harder than a normal plan they are more stabile but the controls can be much more snappy and they do have to go faster to stay up which can be alot to keep up with
Good job for landing……and It’s good to see you had fun, I’ve had the F15 for 2 years and never had a sucessfull take off so you’ve made me to have the courage to pull it out and try it again….thank you !
I love to hear that. Get out and fly, it doesn’t do any good sitting around! Make sure your CG is good and put in minimal inputs. You got this. And when you have a good flight, you’re going to feel like a million bucks. Good luck to you, and hope to hear you report back!

I've been into FPV drones for 5 years now and it's very expensive too anything RC is expensive. But we're all adrenaline junkies. Fixed wing fpv is the cheapest fpv hobby. At least you get your parts back. When you lose a drone in a tree it's gone until a good storm

@@Mach3RC that explains a lot! Yeah havent seen u guys much after the whole FI thing glad to see the crew still creating! I used to love rc planes too and I'm into fpv drones at the moment so this was right up my alley!
Crashed mine on its 2nd flight because I put a camera on it and overcompensated on the CG. New fuselage, good as new. Well, except for flight 6 when the motor burned out and I had to do an emergency landing.
its not a question of whether or not YOU can, or if ANY beginner can. the question you MUST keep in mind is, "am i too new to fly this where i could hit someone or someone's property" THAT question always must be top of mind for any RC pilot, whether brand new or decades of experience. the one thing that is going to screw us ALL over, is an over confident jackass who thinks they can fly a more advanced plane as a novice, and then having reality come barging in and causing them to crash into a person or property. it is THAT sort of behavior that gets the karens all riled up and calling these toy airplanes "drones" and "dangerous flying weapons" - WE as pilots need to be the upstanding, mature, and educated citizens who handle this hobby in a way that projects safety, care, respect, and fun. so if you think you are joe pilot who is confident they can hotdog a jet on their first go, it's not about you and your ego, its about how the public looks at you, and as a result ALL of us who are just trying to enjoy our toy airplanes. it only took a few idiot confident jackasses with DJI drones to RUIN the drone hobby, and model airplanes are next. put your ego aside. when you fly in public, fly away from people, be nice, dont do jackass bullshit over crowds or near people/animals, dont make tons of noise, and be a nice person. this is the ONLY way this hobby will survive in a day when it is LITERALLY on life support.
Nice bud! I'm totally new to RC jets. Should I get this F22 or the F16 64mm? Which is an eaiser bord to fly? Thanks a million!!!😁Keep up the great work!💯💪
For some reason youtube does not allow me to reply to comments only post basic comments...i have XK brushless f22 rtf...its pretty fast, but has gyro and it would be a great plane to fly in this location..i paid $80 off aliexpress ..have over 30 flights..i did manually adjust linkage to get it to fly even better...i fly my micros to warm up before i fly my bigger planes on my dx8 radio
I was scared for my life a 1000 miles away. You did good. IMO RC planes are inexpensive compared to most other hobbies unless you get into RC turbine jets. Most of my RC cars are 1k plus each. My PCP air rifles cost more than my real rifles. My dirt bikes cost even more. Life is too short not to have all this fun. I'd sell my house and build a tiny home and a tiny hangar out in the middle of the desert if I had to. The wife and kids will have to get over it. lol
Haha that’s true. I guess it’s expensive looking at it as a chunk of foam and a few servos. But I agree, how much fun it is has me coming back! A tiny home and a tiny hangar doesn’t sound half bad 😂
Haha I appreciate it! That’s exactly what I’m out for. People take themselves too seriously. Let’s just have a good time. Thanks for watching & subscribing!! 🤘🏻

🫡 I think with some practice on the sim, little bit of trial and error, today’s tech, 100% doable!! I did it 🙌🏻
Crashed mine on its 2nd flight because I put a camera on it and overcompensated on the CG. New fuselage, good as new. Well, except for flight 6 when the motor burned out and I had to do an emergency landing.
SHEESH! I’ve been wanting to put a camera on my planes, guess I’ll be making sure it’s good before take off! Hope your next flight goes better!
Good job you crazy pilot LOL
Haha thanks, Ricky!
Alot of distances. Nice flights
Thanks Tony!
Way to go bro!
Thank you!! 🙏🏻
How can get it or buy it !! ??
We're out of fuel Maverick, gotta put her down! Nice job.
TALK TO ME GOOSE! 🪿 Hahah thanks for watching!
its not a question of whether or not YOU can, or if ANY beginner can. the question you MUST keep in mind is, "am i too new to fly this where i could hit someone or someone's property"
THAT question always must be top of mind for any RC pilot, whether brand new or decades of experience.
the one thing that is going to screw us ALL over, is an over confident jackass who thinks they can fly a more advanced plane as a novice, and then having reality come barging in and causing them to crash into a person or property.
it is THAT sort of behavior that gets the karens all riled up and calling these toy airplanes "drones" and "dangerous flying weapons" - WE as pilots need to be the upstanding, mature, and educated citizens who handle this hobby in a way that projects safety, care, respect, and fun.
so if you think you are joe pilot who is confident they can hotdog a jet on their first go, it's not about you and your ego, its about how the public looks at you, and as a result ALL of us who are just trying to enjoy our toy airplanes.
it only took a few idiot confident jackasses with DJI drones to RUIN the drone hobby, and model airplanes are next.
put your ego aside. when you fly in public, fly away from people, be nice, dont do jackass bullshit over crowds or near people/animals, dont make tons of noise, and be a nice person. this is the ONLY way this hobby will survive in a day when it is LITERALLY on life support.
Well said JB
I F*** wit you my guy. Good stuff!!!
It’s hella dope seeing some1 else have as much fun as I do flying. The energy is on point. Keep em comin bruh!

wicked video
well i started with a arrows 50 mm viper and that`s how i got into the hobby
Time for the 90mm ;)
DONT TEMPT ME!! I want the 90mm so bad. That’s the plane I’m working towards!!
Wow, that’s awesome! $80 isn’t bad at all. I’m going to check it out. Thanks!
Maverick call the ball 😂
that's a cool helicopter -
🚁
A tiny home and a tiny hangar doesn’t sound half bad 😂
awesome, this is like youtube of old, guys just out there having fun with cheap shit and not a care in the world... subbed
Haha I appreciate it! That’s exactly what I’m out for. People take themselves too seriously. Let’s just have a good time. Thanks for watching & subscribing!! 🤘🏻
