SB140 REVIEW || THE ULTIMATE RIP BIKE?!?!

- I've had my SB140 for over a year and here are my thoughts! This bike is sick.
Parts list:
Frame: Yeti SB140 Size large
Fork: 2018 Fox Factory 36
Shock: Rockshox Superdeluxe with Cane Creek Coil
Bars: Yeti Cycles
Brakes: Guide RSC
Drivetrain: Sram 12speed
Cranks: X01
Rims: EX511
Hubs: DT 350 w/54t star ratchet
Dropper: Fox Transfer
Tires: Maxxis Assegai front, Dissector Rear
Saddle: WTB Yeti Saddle
I had the chance to test one recently at the Keystone Bike Park in CO. Very playful, felt lighter than its weight, ripped in corners, and jumped with ease. On the other hand, the bottom bracket is low and it hit a few times and the middle part of the rear suspension was eaten up quick on tech trails and jump-to-flat sections (bottomed out a couple of times). This last comment could have been a matter of playing with the suspension, as it was just set based on my weight with gear, but it was my experience on the ride. Overall, a great bike!
Eyeballing a SB140 right now and this video is helping me get closer to a decision. Good video man. Very helpful to hear your thoughts on park, xc and tech while also seeing you ride! thanks man

How do you find climbing with the coil? I’m considering putting one on mine, I’d defo recommend a Rockguardz protector for bb
I’ve definitely found the coil sticks to the ground better. for climbing. It feels a little heavier but it tracks better and is much more active. I’m need to get one of those bb protectors.
I’ve since put a springdex on it. And gone mullet with it.
