Do you knew what the truth is? You don't, neither do we. We all believe in whatever has been fed into our minds since youth through stories, textbooks etc. History is malleable and subjective. Nobody knows what happened. Lastly, get this thing in your mind. In a battle, as ironic as it sounds, there is no victory, only losses. Innocent people lose their lives just because a politician had his ego hurt. Read about people who went to war, who experienced it's calamities. It's said that, "only dead survive the war".

Tabu’s father Jamaal Hashim was an actor. Later moved to India. Used to live in Nazimabad Karachi. Some say Farah and Tabu both were born in Karachi but it’s not confirmed.
Amin Ji, Tabu was born in Kolkata(Hyderabad by some accounts) and Farah Naaz in Hyderabad(Deccan). Father was Jamal ( used a screen name Jameel) Hashmi. He was a Pakistani actor, as you rightly said. He moved with the family to India, but parents divorced when Tabu was 3. The sisters were raised by their maternal family in Hyderabad.
It is always a delight to listen to (and watch) Tamkenat. You have a fantastic voice for singing and a natural rhythm to your singing. A natural artist in every sense. It's not that Hard to Open up With India. India has a List of about 200 or so U.N Designated Aatankwaadis living in Pakistan. Pakistan can hand them over to India to be tried in Indian Courts. Also, Pakistan Govt and Army has to Accept Involvement in and Apologize for the 30 or so ''DehshatGarrdd Incidents'' that they were involved in Directly and Indirectly within India. And Pakistan will have to open up Trade, and Allow Indian Cars, Trucks, Bikes to be Sold in Pakistan at Low Tariffs Also Indian Movies and Indian OTT Platforms will have to be allowed to exhibit in Pakistan So, The Above Points are not a Big Ask. It's Upto your Army Generals' Leadership to do the Above, and your Artists will get the opportunity to work in India and Make Crores of Indian Rupees. Possibly even Pakistani Cricketers could play in IPL if all of the Above Points are Fulfilled. If your Army Leadership Cannot Fulfil the Things Asked Above, then Don't talk About Opening up. No Point.
Also We Are Very Well Aware of Your Biases and Dual Standards Even Bollywood Lost a Lot of Money Because of Their Dual Standards Because of Boycotts, And Gradually They are Falling in Line. A@mir Khan has been Sitting at Home for 2 Years Now, While SRK and Salman who made Efforts to improve themselves are being parts of 500 to 1000 Crore Box Office Movies. Your Punjaabi Army is Very Backward and Conservative. They Want to Keep a Strong Control over all 250 Million Pakistanis By Using Your Religion They Feel That If Trade, Commerce and Arts is Both Ways Opened up with India, then Indian Cultural Influence will Engulf Pakistani Culture and Population and Your Army Will Lose Control over Your People Therefore, Your Army will never do what i asked for, even though its not too much to ask for Because, Your Army and Elites are too Insecure and Incompetent In India, there are 100s of Creative Artists who Ridicule BJP, but nothing happens to them. Yes some people, criticize those Artists, as is their right to criticize anybody. But, BJP has not imprisoned them or silenced them. So India is Far Far Ahead of Pakistan in All Positive Aspects.

You brought back whole childhood memories of the borderline being killed.. I still remember once playing cricket in night the ball went into gutter.. one of my friend put his hand and pulled out a python 😂😂..
Hello Shehzad, I’ve been listening to your podcasts while working the night shift for an American company, and I’ve enjoyed nearly all of them. I’m from Lahore, Gulberg, so hearing about your childhood mischiefs didn’t surprise me much-boys often find themselves in similar situations. I, too, have had my fair share of childhood adventures and mishaps. One particular incident that stands out in my memory was quite ridiculous. When I was around 13, my mom sent me to buy some milk. While waiting, I decided to sit on a cow instead of a bench. There was another cow sitting nearby, and I saw that they were using their tails to swat away flies. I got the idea to tie their tails together to see what would happen. As you can imagine, when the cows stood up, they started pushing each other around wildly. One of the cows’ tails broke, and it started bleeding profusely. Panicked, I stepped aside, but the Gujjar Uncle soon noticed me and they bring me to my home. They demanded compensation for their injured cow. It was a chaotic and frightening experience, and I still regret that foolish stunt. I find that I can relate to about 70% of what you share about your own childhood experiences. I appreciate your podcasts-they offer valuable insights into global and local issues, and they help me understand what’s happening around the world and in Pakistan. Thank you for all the great content! Cheers, Ammad

Shehzad lacks knowledge about Indian films. There are 7-8 major film industries in India, and Bollywood is just one of them. Rang De Basanti is one of the top 100 Indian films, but it's not the number one, obviously.
everyone is entitled to have their own opinion
Swades Is better RDB
Truly surprised by Tamkenat’s singing voice, amazing!
Great that you brought on Female guests, women's empowerment is one of the most important things regarding Pakistan's progress.
Can't wait. Wasn't aware of this OG from Pakistan experience.
🙌
Bro you must watch Ardhsatya, ek doctor ki maut, Do aankhein barah hath etc
Thank me later 😁
Interesting conversation 😂 love her witty banter.
🙌
Watched your first and last video only for the love of Tamkenat !
My all time favourite Pakistani national songs are “yeh watan tumhara hai” and “dil se mein ne dekha Pakistan” by Haroon shahid 🤌😭
1:31:14 GULAL best movie ❤
Tamkenat is very knowledgeable and articulate.
Loved the chat between you two but especially the ones on milli naghmay and Hindi films. It was like you guys are my people.
❤️
Tamkenat Queen! ❤ from Gujrat!
❤️
Also, you’re super relatable to the average Pakistani who grew up in the 80s and 90s. It was such a trip down memory lane listening to all the milli naghmey! ❤️ An excellent contrast to the perceived ‘burger-ness’ of Shahzad. So glad you’re doing what you do - truly your calling!
Damn girl, u stole my heart by citing "Gulaal". It's in my top 5 Indian movie list.

I agree with her.. Gulal is a much much better movie than Gangs of Wasseypur.. she is right in many other comments too... And loved her appropriate use of words.. cathartic and snitch .. 👍👏

And Pakistan will have to open up Trade, and Allow Indian Cars, Trucks, Bikes to be Sold in Pakistan at Low Tariffs
Also Indian Movies and Indian OTT Platforms will have to be allowed to exhibit in Pakistan
So, The Above Points are not a Big Ask.
It's Upto your Army Generals' Leadership to do the Above,
and your Artists will get the opportunity to work in India and Make Crores of Indian Rupees.
Possibly even Pakistani Cricketers could play in IPL if all of the Above Points are Fulfilled.
If your Army Leadership Cannot Fulfil the Things Asked Above, then Don't talk About Opening up.
No Point.
Also We Are Very Well Aware of Your Biases and Dual Standards
Even Bollywood Lost a Lot of Money Because of Their Dual Standards Because of Boycotts, And Gradually They are Falling in Line.
A@mir Khan has been Sitting at Home for 2 Years Now, While SRK and Salman who made Efforts to improve themselves are being parts of 500 to 1000 Crore Box Office Movies.
Your Punjaabi Army is Very Backward and Conservative.
They Want to Keep a Strong Control over all 250 Million Pakistanis By Using Your Religion
They Feel That If Trade, Commerce and Arts is Both Ways Opened up with India, then Indian Cultural Influence will Engulf Pakistani Culture and Population and Your Army Will Lose Control over Your People
Therefore, Your Army will never do what i asked for, even though its not too much to ask for
Because, Your Army and Elites are too Insecure and Incompetent
In India, there are 100s of Creative Artists who Ridicule BJP, but nothing happens to them.
Yes some people, criticize those Artists, as is their right to criticize anybody.
But, BJP has not imprisoned them or silenced them.
So India is Far Far Ahead of Pakistan in All Positive Aspects.

I've noticed 1 thing, more than half of our National Songs glorifies Pak Millitary or religion🙂 & we needed so many National Songs 2 create a "Pakistani Identity" (as Pak was a young country with no ties with its history)
Pakistan teach wrong history to their people.....
Pakistan religion k basis pr bna jiski Pakistan jaisi koi identity nhi hai kyuki mostly history India se share hoti hai joki unke religion vale pacha nhi payege
Always love to see Tamkenat on your podcast 🎉🎉

Border wasn't propoganda. There were literally 2 scenes set for peace
1. Just before Climax when Indians captured Paki Jawan, he was requesting to get killed. Sunny's Character relaxes him n assures him he won't be killed. He also gives the Jawan his due respect and provides water to him.
2. The last song just after climax explores destruction due to war. Just watch MERE DUSHMAN MERE BHAI through which film is finally concluded that war brings destruction and there should only be peace.
And one mpre thing, my childhood was also same. All boys are same.
Tamkenat is just ❤
❤️
The music of Gangs of Wasseypur was composed by Sneha Khanvilkar.

The best patriotic indian song in my opinion is Mile sur mera tumhara. It shows our diversity and our unity. I miss those days when this song use to come on DD we use to be glued to the TV.

I left the exact same comment. The melody, the words, the cameos, the theme of unity in diversity. It’s on another level altogether!
You brought back whole childhood memories of the borderline being killed..
I still remember once playing cricket in night the ball went into gutter.. one of my friend put his hand and pulled out a python 😂😂..
Insane
Hello Shehzad,
I’ve been listening to your podcasts while working the night shift for an American company, and I’ve enjoyed nearly all of them.
Cheers,
Ammad
Wow that’s a crazy story. Poor cow
