I am also puzzled with the kind of love Zakir and Shahrukh command but I have come to the conclusion that despite them being skilled at their job, the prime reason for this kind of adulation is the dream and hope they are selling. They look like people we'll find around ourselves, they began their journeys from similar mohallay as us. For people who want fame and money, they are a light of hope that if Zakir can achieve this coming from nowhere, so can I. And for people who don't aim of fame, they feel like like they are one of us.

Pakistani thinks Indian and Pakistani are very similar to each other I don't think so may be northern part of India specially Punjab and Delhi have some similarity but rest of Indian have no similarity with Pakistani way of life

Nishan bhai.. A question for you .. Did Bangalore and its pub culture play an important part in promoting our stand up comedy scene. I remember when we were in college in the 2000’s decade it used to be just how many pitchers of beer your could drown in a sitting until one fine day the entertainment was a stand up comedian and soon they were every day at most pubs.. Or is that just my misconceived understanding . ?
