Sounds alright. I prefer the flow master 40's like on my 06 v6, 6speed manual. High flow cats, pre cat delete with small resonator midway. Look it up there are plenty on TH-cam

I recently bought a 2006 Honda Accord Sedan EX 3.0 L with the J30A5 motor. About to straight pipe mines as well, gonna lose back pressure but I'm not building it to be a street car just a lil more fun and stance it out... Thanks for this 🤟🏼💯
I have a 2007 Honda Accord v6 3.0 with the 5 speed Auto , I recently just tagged it , it’s my first car I ever bought for myself and is also my toy. I’ve put around $700-$900 into it alone , Motor mounts , new fluids , spark plugs , pulley and pulley tensioner as well as all new tires and power steering pump and then updating its tags 🏷 and putting it into my name since it had been sitting for a good 2 years inside a garage , after bottoming out and then parking it. But it’s all good, I had a leak near my heads and was dripping motor oil on my exhaust and then it heating up and catching fire but , covered that problem and I’m wanting to do a muffler delete but leave factory cats & resonators. Other then that, leave it stock besides getting a exhaust , new rims and touch up on the paint job and it’ll fit my needs. maybe even a disconnecting steering wheel cause Honda things.

I had an 03 6-6 and it was fully straight piped except stock manifolds 2.5” to 3” Y pipe to 4” tips and boii it was loud

Man I tried finding one of these 7th gen v6 MT sedans for so damn long and couldn't find a SINGLE one for sale within like 300 miles of me. And the couple times I actually saw one the owners said they'd never sell it. Truly a unicorn car lol

Depending on the year, your TL could have the 3.2 or the 3.5. Personally I think the j32 sounds more like the j30, but yeah

Is it just me or does these V-6 accords really seem like the more miles you put on the 3.0L the BETTER they run!?!?!? And by “BETTER” I simply mean “QUICKER”!!! For example, I currently have, and daily, a 2006 Accord with an ALL STOCK 3.0L V-6 with the AUTOMATIC transmission. It is a sedan and it has 238,000 miles on it. Approximately 220,000 of those miles are relatively HARD miles where I’ve just beat on it and beat on it and so far it seems to just love it!!! It is a quick and fun little car to drive and the ONLY aftermarket part that is on the car, other than the typical maintenance stuff like alternator, timing belt, spark plugs and stuff like that, is a set of Tein lowering springs, on all four corners, which equates to the car being lowered 2.0” front and 1.2” rear. It really looks a lot better than the factory height and it actually handles and corners a good bit better, as well. I would like to do some bigger sway bars, one day, but that is more of a wish than anything. But I honestly feel like the more miles I put on this car the quicker it gets!!! What are y’all’s thoughts on this particular vehicle???

I have the 04 V6 6-speed coupe with ALL THE HFP (Honda factory performance options) the front lip rear lift side skirt spoiler better Wheels look super aggressive compared to the coupes/sedans that you see like the one in the video without the kit on them looks like a completely different car leather seats heated seats only 60k original miles got from my uncle last year who bought it brand new in 2004 and had it ever since until I bought it for my daily driver I have a built 95 Civic for my track car but I have the tusudo catback exhaust with the rv6 J pipe and third cat delete still have the stock cats on the head just replaced them with brand new OEM cats and keeping the front two cats I do lose a little bit of power instead of doing the precat deletes but with the j-pipe third cat delete and the tusudo Cat-Back exhaust it gives it a really nice sound without being too raspy or ricey sounding quiet when you want it but when you get on it you're going to hear me coming perfect for a daily driver .....my Civic is much louder but that's only for the track so who cares
What should I expect to pay for a 2 resonator and 2 muffler delete, just as this car in the video, on my 06 V-6 Accord??? I know it depends on your location and the shop but I’m just looking for a rough ballpark figure. Thanks in advance. 👍👍👍

Eh. Im more partial to my 3.5 08 v6 accord. Its a lot louder- (though drone at highway cruising is non existant) still has a factory resonator and has the thord cat removed. Mine sounds a bit deeper during idle and basic acceleration too
Still she sounded great under load. Just not quiet loud enough for my taste.

The difference between mine and his is i left my larger resonator
He records all of these with a cell phone so we miss out on a lot of audio.
@@Velanestar Do you still have the smaller resonator? You could weld it back in, and maybe add some glasspacks where the mufflers were, to tone the sound and keep the high exhaust flow.

You can have a catback straight pipe. And in the case that you have something like resonated test pipes, that wouldn’t mean that you’re “not” straight pipes.

He pulled out his resonators and mufflers and just put regular straight pipes, you shouldn't do it tho because it sounds pretty nasty and its annoying as hell😭😭😭

I have the 06' EX v6 J30A5, about to straight pipe mines. Got quotes around $200-300, that's including 2.5 OD stainless steel pipe, welding labor. Granted I'm a welder and pipefitter myself, so I've already cut out my entire exhaust back to the header. It may be a little more if they have to remove your old exhaust. Maybe $50 or so more.. hope this helps?

@@vexrich you need to tune it, deleting mufflers and resonator won’t do anything, you need to do downpipe and front pipe catless. and then tune it with more fuel (injectors) more air (intake) cold air not short ram. that would see a difference but that’s still nothing
