i’ve had 2 7th gen accords. a sedan with a 4cyl and a coupe with a v6. most enjoyable cars i’ve ever had. the v6 was more enjoyable to me but i’m sure you all know these came with a k series. very nice and simple cars and the v6 coupe handled so well

I have a 7th gen v6 6 speed sedan. Took me 2 years go find the perfect one. Bought it for $9400 with in box unused Tein Advance Z's, CAI, fog lights, etc. She now has 84k and pulling strong. Saving up for a j32 swap and looking for a TL LSD 6 speed right now. Then comes the twin turbo build! They are great cars with decent power, but the aftermarket for these cars are very very scarce.

Halferland Performance has dyno charts showing they do massively better than anyone else building Js in the game. I'm talking 316whp on a streetable, daily reliable, stage 1 cam and either stock or stage 1 head J32. Give them a look and consider a 35 over a 32 if you can. Or at least chuck a J35 crank into a 32 so you can do the direct drop-in like it seems you want. Also if you hit up Gingium's channel, he has a turbo J30 coupe doing 380whp and the craziest part is that he actually found someone who can tune the stock ECU.
I've had my automatic 2006 Accord 4 cyl since high school, and now, going into my final years of college, the thing is still kicking and working fantastic with 170k miles. Such an excellent car, and hoping to add some mods in the future on it.
Have seen and drove 7th gens with over 250K on automatics that still ran good. They also have the trans fitter outside the transmission which can be easily changed without even draining the oil if it isn't time. That way it stays super clean in between the oil changes.

I’d say for the oxidized headlights it’s due to most owners parking in the hot ass sun. Since I’ve been parking in the shade they haven’t yellowed further

7nth Gen Honda Civic Sedan EX/LX (01-05) and 6th Gen Honda Accord Coupe v6 (98-02) please! I'm debating which to get as a daily, reliable, and a little sporty as my first car that I plan on getting this summer.
It's so sad that Honda doesn't make the Accord in Manual anymore... or the coupe for that matter. They claim.. "Oh our new body gives the coupe like experience in a 4 door".. right. sure honda. Also.. I love technology, but touch screens and push button everything, CVTs, they don't belong in vehicles.
I just bought one of these and it has 230k miles so it has a few issues but the main problem I have with it is the interior and the stereo/climate controls don't light up in the dark so I can't even see the buttons at night
I got my ex 7th gen accord v6 automatic sedan recently for my first car and even tho it has 233k on the mileage the car works fine i did have to do alot of repairs on it tho because the air intake hose broke and the antifreeze needed to be flushed and the battery died also the ceiling bulbs needed to be replaced and the hood struts stopped working also the air intake filter needed to be replaced and the ac filter but now all thats left to do is replace the sparkplug tube seals and the ac system
To be honest, I do like the seventh GEN two-door V6 coupe automatic, but yes, it does have its problems. If you get an automatic transmission, they will break down on you. At the quarter-mile track once and it has a really good reaction time when most cars are doing a 14.2 you’re doing a 14.9 and you still beat them at the end weird huh 😆 it’s all about reaction time.
im gonna be honest eveything you said is pretty much true. the auto accords are eh.the power steering is a very big issue with these cars. the paint fade almost every honda ever made has that issue just gotta find the clean one that was takin care of. the headlights yeah people don't take care of there care but lemme tell ya LEDS and new headlights bring life to the 7thgens. and yes the 7th gen has to grow on you you have to love it and it will love you.
I keep hearing the automatic trans have problems. However I also see some of these cars with over 300000 mi. with the original auto trans. I just got a 2007 with less than 48000. [it was my mothers car] and I love the car.
I just got one just one 6 speed Manuel v6 06 I'm in love coming from a 95 corrola it's amazing perfect daily 1st drivers car omg it's amazing gotta 220 hp 😍 it's fast but not fas yk faster than si
Honda did preety darn sic for 7th gen era, they release so many different types. They also like did experiment on something, bcs at these period Honda release Legend and Euro R that somehow related one to eachother; it also oodly possesed Accura with their TSX. Same kinda look like interior, same engine, idk man. But my CM5, how ugly it is but somehow I loved it anway.
Can someone tell me which old year model between 2007 to 2011 that don't have engine or transmission problem? I love the car for it size.. looking at the same year for Toyota Camry.. 2007-2011.. thanks
What's wrong with the power steering @Mark Roden I have a 2003 Honda accord ex-l v6 with a 190k miles and I do feel at times its hard to turn and sometimes it would lock up thru corners but never knew why
Ive changed da pump, da reservoir, da pump line, n return line a couple months ago but 3 days ago the whole power steering fluid poured out while i was parallel parking. I guess cuz i cut da wheel all da way to 1 side to park in a tight spot. Yesterday da metal piece on top of da pump was leaking on da engine n rolled down to da alternator which destroyed it so i had to get another one.
2:40 - I've got a stock 7th gen v6 hybrid. the v6 completely negates any sort of hybrid eco benefits although it does have an electric motor assist and regenerative braking. it also has the same bodystyle as the 4th gen honda inspire and, despite being made for NA, was manufactured in sayama, japan rather than ohio or whatever.

I’m on my hunt for 7 gen here in Canada. Still don’t know what to buy. V6 or K24. 😊
How is gas mileage for K24?
I’m glad that you like yours.
Transmisions are great when they work.
Where do you get the tail lights around 8:30 those are dope
I’m not even kidding man, I’ve had all these exact problems! Sitting at 206k right now.
The title got me, I’m an 8th gen Accord 6-6 coupe owner!
The tail lights on the sedan at 9:50 can you tell me who’s car that is and or where I can get those tail lights
You forgot the Value Package submodel, which has the k24 as well.
The 07 sedan lx has the sexiest tail
Lights ever so the world should know
im gonna be honest eveything you said is pretty much true. the auto accords are eh.the power steering is a very big issue with these cars. the paint fade almost every honda ever made has that issue just gotta find the clean one that was takin care of. the headlights yeah people don't take care of there care but lemme tell ya LEDS and new headlights bring life to the 7thgens. and yes the 7th gen has to grow on you you have to love it and it will love you.
I keep hearing the automatic trans have problems. However I also see some of these cars with over 300000 mi. with the original auto trans. I just got a 2007 with less than 48000. [it was my mothers car] and I love the car.
I need those tails at 8:30. Unfortunately I can’t find any aftermarket taillight wise
I just got one just one 6 speed Manuel v6 06 I'm in love coming from a 95 corrola it's amazing perfect daily 1st drivers car omg it's amazing gotta 220 hp 😍 it's fast but not fas yk faster than si
I have an ‘03 V6 with an unknown issue causing a lean condition in both banks
The accord V6 MT accord 06-07 sedan is actually more saught after because only 5k were made unlike the coupes getting rarer each day
J series accord over k series accord all day! The torque from the j series is undefeated.
What’s fun about driving a manual transmission?
Honda did preety darn sic for 7th gen era, they release so many different types. They also like did experiment on something, bcs at these period Honda release Legend and Euro R that somehow related one to eachother; it also oodly possesed Accura with their TSX. Same kinda look like interior, same engine, idk man. But my CM5, how ugly it is but somehow I loved it anway.
Can someone tell me which old year model between 2007 to 2011 that don't have engine or transmission problem? I love the car for it size.. looking at the same year for Toyota Camry.. 2007-2011.. thanks
Does anyone know where I can find the front lip like the white accord on the thumbnail? 😁

I want to modify my Honda accord 2007 sedan but don’t know what to do to it …. Any opinions ?
I love that black one from NY
2023 I getting one as a first car. I prop get low pro wheels and tints lights
What's wrong with the power steering @Mark Roden
I have a 2003 Honda accord ex-l v6 with a 190k miles and I do feel at times its hard to turn and sometimes it would lock up thru corners but never knew why
It’s your power steering , fairly cheap to get fixed just got mine done last week
Replace the whole pump
Ive changed da pump, da reservoir, da pump line, n return line a couple months ago but 3 days ago the whole power steering fluid poured out while i was parallel parking. I guess cuz i cut da wheel all da way to 1 side to park in a tight spot. Yesterday da metal piece on top of da pump was leaking on da engine n rolled down to da alternator which destroyed it so i had to get another one.
i still havent fixed my 8th gen passenger airbag
Had an 05 coupe, I junked it at 255k... I sure it had more life in her!
What body kit is that??
2:40 - I've got a stock 7th gen v6 hybrid. the v6 completely negates any sort of hybrid eco benefits although it does have an electric motor assist and regenerative braking. it also has the same bodystyle as the 4th gen honda inspire and, despite being made for NA, was manufactured in sayama, japan rather than ohio or whatever.
