My 16 year daughter took her first deer last season with her grandfather's 336 30-30. Same rifle her mother took her first with. The old 30-30 is for a lot of folks a family tradition. Good job boys. And congratulations to the young lady and that dandy buck.
Me and my got a couple of 3030s from our grandad when he pastt he one my brother has is getting the 24inch barrel fixed and yes it's a marlin a model or model a depending on the owner and they came with a 24 inch barrel from the factory where as the 336 that I got comes with the 16 inch from factory
Had to take a look at the video again, The only time I saw a rifle barrel pointed in a direction of someone it was angled down at the ground. Gun safety is a big deal around our camp, thanks for your concerns.
It’s a Stetson, not sure what model. It was my dad’s hat and he’s been gone for twenty plus years so it’s hard to say if they even make it anymore. Thanks for watching

My brother hunted with a 30-30. 3 bucks in seven years in Montana, never missed, 2 died where they stood and another didn't go far.

Thanks, he was using factory Hornady ammo 150 gr., hats off to you for going old school 30-30.

Follow up shot was unnecessary lol. First one smoked him. If you handload, the .30-30 is made for cast bullets.
