The first ending is the true ending to me. Every other ending just makes me feel bad because I truly felt sympathy for John. All he ever wanted was to be Bruce's friend.

I just finished this game and I chose we were never friends and I didn’t regret it but I felt his pain for sure. I think it’s an interesting take and it gives Joker a genuine reason to hate him.

@@BonBon-od9zm it’s so much more interesting of a storyline that way. Joker is wrong but he will always have a valid reason to hate him. Also I got absolute chills when he says “we were never friends” and then it says *Joker will never forget that*

I wonder if Villain Joker will communicate with Penguin and Harvey in the Asylum and reveal Batman's Identity to them as he knew that both Harvey and Penguin knew Bruce. This is something we could know about if there is a Season 3. Me personally I think we'll see Penguin and Harvey again in Season 3 in some way because of this.

4:26 How could he possibly know Bruce quit? 6:34 This is the true Batman Joker ending and the coolest looking one. The ending where he burns Bruce shows he is comfortable with his true hatred for Bruce and is looking forward to torturing him. The last ending makes him want to make Bruce just like him.
To answer your first question John knew Bruce gave up being Batman because the bat signal turned off without Batman being anywhere in sight which causes John to get pissed off.
I agree with 6:34. It's the most faithful, comic accurate ending. Represents the entire twisted dynamic between Jokey & Bats perfectly.

I swear these games have some of the best villains. I like the whole vigilante Joker thing for example it makes a change from just seeing the villain Joker all the time. However the villain Joker in this game is very good as well I would just very much prefer making the Joker a vigilante.

So I just got done playing through. I ended with villian joker and we had some good times. Can someone breakdown how the episode differs if you believe john in episode 4?
John becomes a vigilante (still calling himself Joker like in the villain path) and him and and Batman are partners, fighting Waller and the Agency(with Batman trying to Joker from killing) until Joker snaps and Batman must defeat him anyway

I always thought that apart from visiting John, that the endings should’ve been swapped. A villain Joker seems more likely to be excited for their future rivalry (or rage at lack there of) whereas Vigilante seems more like the side to pretended Bruce has come to visit him and that they are still friends, if of course the real Bruce doesn’t come.

I love Jon doe as a bff against the world nothing could ever hurt him because I'd never let anyone or thing hurt him. Which is messed up because my twin flame now ex husband were bf and gf now because I realized that he's not like me as much as I thought. And he hated joker/Jon doe which really upset me but thats only a little bit of the reason I stepped down with him. The bigger reason is threw out the whole thing he choose most of the anwsers/decisions complety different from my own I often wonder how the hell I and my twin flame are anything alike. I genuinely wanted to be John’s friend, but John broke the one rule that I as both Batman and Bruce Wayne can’t break: murder. When I walked into the carnival and I listened to John tell his story, nothing lined up. I loved John, I truly did. He was a good friend and a really good guy, and I gave him every opportunity to show it, but he did what he wasn’t supposed to...and I had to leave him.
King Sausage no you just weren’t truly loyal to him. It is clear as day the agents would have killed had he not killed them as the agents are clearly shown to shot without trying to arrest people. I guarantee you didn’t betray Tiffany despite her killing Riddler. Batman kills three people in season 1 if he saves Selina in episode 2.
