This was so adorable! The new measuring tape was the icing on the cake! Enjoyed learning about the parquet floor and now have a new level of appreciation for them and the carpenters who assembled them. Love Phillip and Benoit working together. Brian had just sat down to watch the last few minutes of this episode with me when you walked over and showed the measuring tape he made a few months ago. I had no idea he mailed it to you. So glad I'm married to this funny guy 30 years this year!

I love Philipp and Benoit together and the tape measure is priceless. The floors are beautiful and seeing the sand beneath the parquet floors of other chateaus, I never understood why it was there. Benoit explained it and now it makes total sense. The craftsmen back through the centuries really knew what they were doing and they built things that stood the test of time. I love everyone who buys an old structure, restores it, and becomes it caretaker so it will last for many centuries to come. xx
Don't tell Benoît, but I subscribed to the Beau Château channel as soon as the video popped up into my recommendation a couple of days ago, in no small part because of him. He's truly a celebrity.

A year ago I’d never have believed I’d be this invested in watching a couple I’ve never met renovate a chateau, but here I am and I like it.

That was fascinating! Thank goodness for Benoit 💝he’s knowledgeable and skills are such a blessing. I hope he eventually takes on some young apprentices to pass on this amazing amount of talent. I’m also a fan of Ian and Daphne’s, the first time I saw Benoit on their show l had this strange sense of relief for their chateau. LOL 😝 but nothing can replace Philip and Benoit together and I know Anna and Philip are friends with Ian & Daphne and Stephanie & her Philip. 😊

I just love seeing all the pups play! I've shared my life with all three breeds in the past. You are all so very fortunate to have a Border Collie, Vizsla, and Great Pyrenees to play with. The Vizsla will cuddle in the cold and snuggle under the covers; the Pyr will make sure you are all safe; and the Border Collie will teach Philipp how to measure as he rewires the chateau and reorganizes the attic. 😂 BCs are brilliant. Maybe Benoit can teach him to bring tools, like mine did, and a carpenter's dog I worked with in the theatre. So useful when you're working on your own and don't want to get up to find something you need. 😍
