I'm considering refinishing my bamboo flooring. I've looked around the internet for info on this but there are too many people with too many yes and no answers. What is your thoughts and do you have a video on bamboo flooring ? Love the videos
I sand and refinish my own floors for houses I renovate, and I’m about to sand and refinish about 800+sq.ft of oak flooring. How necessary is the three pad sander? I normally use my low speed buffer with a 100-120 sanding screen after I finish with the drum sander. Also, that floor is insanely smooth no ripples or waves from the drum sander, you’re next level thorough.
Great video!, as a carpenter, you might be able to apply a mist of water on the floor after the first sanding to possibly raise the grain of the wood to compensate for the planing job the homeowner did, have fun!
Gotta get a backpack vac to make it easier when vacuuming (great suction as well). I hate feeling tethered and moving around a machine from room to room.

I've been watching and learning from your videos/advice for about 2-3 years now. It gave me the confidence to refinish my hardwood floors. They're prefinished (aluminum oxide) white oak and they turned out stunning. I started off with a small bedroom then did a bigger room. Now I'm confident I can finish the rest of my house. I've also refinished 100 year old douglas fir. Did my first cut against the grain and now Im doing some repairs before I finish it. Thank you!

So awesome to see someone doing this. I bought a house and the oak floors were so dark and spots were just worn and discolored from improper care. Was lucky enough to find a local company that could fully restore and refinish the. They are so beautiful! So much lighter as well. Even though we did a clear coat to seal them the oak is well over a 100 years old so it just took the coats and there are so many variations in color. It’s just wonderful! Happy to see other people who know how to do this wonderful skill.
Fantastic to see a job done properly with the right kit, it's impossible to find this kit to rent and you have obviously invested allot on money into your trade, I always use a belt sander as the hire stuff for floors is crap. Nice to see you coating up too with a little de nib in-between. Top class job, well done.

carpet is really nice and reduces echo and noise. its hard to sleep when all your floors are wood and some bumble fk is stomping around in their shoes on wooden a floor. the noise travels through wood easily.
This is my favorite part of any wood project I’m working on.. no matter floors… cabinets.. a table… sanding is my meditation.. This is where I get my relaxation … I’ll put some music in and just get lost…

Cheers Greg!🍻
I reall enjoy watching pros at their work! Wonderful job!
And this is why you must always hire a professional floor sander. There’s no DIY here only years and years of experience. I promise you, it will be money well spent.
Your level of skill is awesome!! ❤
Just goes to show what a true craftsman can do. Fantastic job.
Cheers Rob! 🍻
Your strong as, I always take my hummel motor off then bring it in separately. Enjoy your work!

Beautiful. What a difference when it's done right! You had to take that down a lot to get all the damage out.
Exceptional workmanship and service👌

Thank you 🙏🏼
I would never be able to do this in such a thorough way, congratulations
Cheers!
This is truly stunning work ! The restored floor looks magnificent 😊 and if I was the house owner, I would use the same wooden floor throughout and get rid of all carpeted areas!
carpet is really nice and reduces echo and noise. its hard to sleep when all your floors are wood and some bumble fk is stomping around in their shoes on wooden a floor.
the noise travels through wood easily.
Pfffff, I'd have the front door finished shot as my wallpaper... Looks amazing!
This is my favorite part of any wood project I’m working on.. no matter floors… cabinets.. a table… sanding is my meditation.. This is where I get my relaxation … I’ll put some music in and just get lost…
its very rewarding
Well, first of all you can see that you take absolute pride in your work and I think it turned out amazing 👏
Subscribed because I was intrigued 👌🇬🇧
Cheers Andy I appreciate it 🍻
You my friend got some expensive tools. The right tools get the work done. I wish i had the orbital sander. Would take me from 99.9% to 100%. Great work
Absolutely STUNNING!!! Excellent video.. those floors are soo thankful.. Absolutely gorgeous.. now come to my home 😁😁😁
Cool stuff man. I love watching a professional showing off his craft.
