Neca has become my favorite company. These universal monsters line neca has going truly shows they care about us collectors. I remember going to blockbuster and renting dracula, frankenstein, wolfman, the mummy and mine and my father's favorite. Creature from the black lagoon. Fingers crossed neca makes some of the other mummy movie figures. Would love a jackle from the mummy returns 😏
Yes the neck color dose clash 😮😅 But remember doctor Frankenstein put Frankenstein together from a bunch of different body parts so who's ta say the head and body where not a perfect match 😅😅😅

Great review am very happy with the figure as well and think its even better looking then the standard original and who knows maybe a son of frankenstein down the road with a igor to boot
For frankys cigar he comes with I added a bit of cotton ball fuzz that I pulled off and made a smoke effect and slightly put a little gray and lighter black areas 🖤 painted on to give a look of smoke drifting on the end of his cigar 😅
I love that he comes with a smoke hand, one my very favorite scenes from the Universal Frankenstein run. The Ultimate Gremlin comes with an actual cigarette. $60 bucks for a diorama and a figure? Hell yea, NECA this set is freaking fantastic!!
'Bride of Frankenstein' is my favorite horror film. It's just wonderful that there's still enough popular interest in these classic films that they receive extensive merchandising. Great work from NECA, as ever.
This figure set looks fantastic!! NECA's Universal Monsters line is one of my favourites. My only nitpick with this figure is the different coloured neck, compared to the heads. I have this on order, and can't wait to get him in hand.
This is a nice looking Frankenstein figure. The head sculpts look great. The figure is nicely sculpted, painted, and detailed. I like the restraining chair that Frankenstein comes included with. Even the loaf of bread has been done really well, which I really appreciate. Utilizing actual metal chains is a nice touch. Solid work on the part of NECA! Thanks, Spot! I really appreciate it! Aside from removing a head on these figures 😅 I always for safe practice heat the head up before removing and then let cool before pushing the head back on but again heating the head and only the head to back on and push on neck peg- Now others my differ as to this procedure but I do it every time as I had a unfortunate head removing nightmare one day doing this without heat 😢 the neck peg snapped off with the head YIKES😅
The chair is BAD A** And the chains that just hang loose on back I have hooked to a custom wall backing that I have on my display shelf with a torch that's not lighted up on the wall where he sits as he wasn't real fond of fire 😅
Great piece!! Although, I don't know why they put the bread, cigar, and soup? He has that with the old man. It just doesn't work with the dungeon chair.
I see these upcoming videos pop up, I wanna watch but they premiere in several hours. Then I forget and never watch them. Not sure doing premieres is a good idea.
Agreed, I would say though that the Black and White version of the first figure does look like Boris Karloff more than the other version. That said this is quite easily leagues better than the first figure in terms of accuracy and likeness to Boris Karloff.
The amount of lacking in knowledge gets me. The mug fits in the hand he used but he holds onto the mug and has his fingers in the handle. And the "uuuuugh she doesn't like me" head isn't that at all. Its the face of the monster struggling to break free from the villagers and the restraints of the chair. Sadly there is no sad face from when the bride rejects the monster. That is my only gripe about the figure. I would have much prefered to have a sad face instead of the blank, emotionless stare. The monster is so much more emotional and expressive in bride of frankenstein? And I would have been happy to get like 20 different faces to go with this figure

Once I put together a display I never disassemble it again so I don't have that issue😊
Does the chair fit any of the other Universal monsters? Would be pretty cool to display wolfman chained up
