Iam curious how come necca hasn't released a ardteh bey figure with the mummy set. Is it because they're discluding the character or do they have a latter release date?
I got that figure for Easter from my sister. Wolfman and Creature from the Black Lagoon are my favorite Universal Monsters. What NECA has done to Wolfman is truly awe-inspiring and I cannot wait to see what they do to Creature from the Black Lagoon if they make a figure of him.
1:43 The mummy height bothered me with the Wolfman and the Mummy because of how tall Frankenstein is but I looked up their actual heights. Lon Chaney Jr is 6 feet two inches tall while Karloff is 5 feet 11 inches tall.
This is a solid figure of The Wolfman. All three head sculpts look really good. The figure is nicely sculpted, painted and detailed overall. Thanks once again Spot!

I’m loving this universal monsters line I got the wolf man, my favorite Frankenstein’s monster both color and B&W . Can’t wait for Dracula and the creature but I hope to see other versions of the wolfman and Frankenstein .
I do like the Wolf Man movie; in fact, I like werewolves better than vampires. However, my famorite Universal monster is the Creature while my favorite movie is The Invisible Man.
I just love the detail that goes into these NECA figures, they look so beautiful, almost like a work of art. The Wolf Man is my favorite classic universal monster movie of all time, so when I heard that NECA was going to be releasing a figure of him, I just knew that I had to get him in color. 🐺🌕
I have all the Diamond Selecta Universal Monsters and never thought any company would top those, but these are so much better! But i prefer the b&w versions so so still searching for the Mummy
I tend to lean towards the Black and White more myself too because like you said they look more screen accurate, I do love that NECA are giving us both versions though especially like Frankenstein that figure looked great in Colour too! I do like this figure, but I prefer both the other NECA Universal monster offerings we've had. This one by nature of being essentially a guy in a shirt isn't exactly new to NECA, we've had figures of Ash Williams and Jason Voorhees that have pretty similar designs and I think the upper legs are from a Jason, so I wasn't exactly blown away by this compared to the Mummy or Frankenstein Monster's all new and unique designs. I also agree about the stand, plus having one foot elevated means it's a bit tricky to properly balance him, and even trying bigger stands he's still one of the most wobbly figures in my collection, but I don't blame NECA for that since that's how they were in the film. This is just personal preference, but I always thought the Wolf Man wore a blue shirt, all the figures I had growing up were like that and in my brain none of the other Universal monsters wore blue, so in a lineup it helped him stand out. Still, I can overlook that. My biggest issue is on mine the default werewolf head has one of the eyes slightly looking to the right, and if lit from one side it makes it look like he's got side-eye. It's hard to explain but it almost looks like an optical illusion with him looking different directions depending on the lighting which honestly irritates me, since it's so slight that it's hard to even tell which eye is painted incorrectly. As for a favorite Universal monster film, probably the original Frankenstein. I grew up with those films but upon recent re-watch they become a bit more melodramatic and over the top with the music and acting, which granted was how things were in the 30's and 40's, but the lack of music makes that first Frankenstein film to me the most genuinely unsettling, along with some of the imagery in it still being pretty grim.
this figure looks awesome the sculpt is magnificent...this might be a stretch but i hope one day neca will make the remake benicio del toro version since I'm one of the minority that likes that movie
I just got this figure today and the left leg clicks/pops when I move it forward or back. The right leg does not. Why is that and will that become a problem? I do love the figure!!
Neca can do what they did with the turtles if they play their cards right. Ohhh. Btw… We need a “universal monsters Castle play set” as well to top it all off and give us a ( 😉) universal display. …. Ugh…. And we need abbot and Costello!
I don't have any of the neca universal monsters I have the 4 jada ones they released (Dracula creature from the black lagoon, frankenstein and bride of franenstein) so I'll wait and hopefully they release the wolfman, the invisible man. the mummy and phantom of the opera so I can keep them in the same scale
Ideally you keep these in the box the quality just isn’t there on most neca figures so many stiff joints super fragile pieces and weird leg or feet shapes causing standing issues if you want quality you go sideshow or maybe Mexico etc but of cause gunna cost a lot more I had a sideshow Myers it was faultless loved it but was over ££200 for a 1/6 scale figure

Love this fig, although overall I prefer the B&W versions of the Universal line because they're more screen accurate. I still bought both versions!

If you watch the movie, the wolf man walks on his tip toes like a wolf joint.
That's fine for the movie but for the sake of the figure's stability it needed to have flat feet
