wow that was a really helpful video. well done thank you. Question for you? Do you get copyright strikes or muting when trying to post to social media? Ive tried on instagram and youtube and facebook and had trouble? Any suggestions? Thanks again
I definitely get copyright strikes on social media all the time. Although, they’ve never threatened to take down any of my pages. Just make sure to clearly state that it’s a drum cover and give credit to the original artist, also try turning the track down a little in the mix. When I get a strike on social media, I always appeal it and they’ll usually unmute the video. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!!
With all of these drum covers, I start off by transcribing the part of the song that I want to play. I then play that transcription over the top of the original track and adjust the volume of the track vs drums. But to answer your question: No, the track is unedited and I just played over it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, good lesson 👍🥁
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! I'd like to see a video on your tuning process or a video about your cymbals
Thanks man!! I can definitely make that happen for you.
Great job bro!
Thanks homie!!

@@ty_ellender excellent thanks for your help
Wait, so how did you deal with Vinnie's track playing at the same time as yours? Did you somehow remove the sound of him playing?
