@@void-master9077 Really wasn't necessary though. Once power armor and fat man launchers started rolling out the war was heavily in america's favor. It's a shame really. Well yes it was a war, it began to take a dark turn when the US decided to invade china rather than seek diplomatic options after successfully defending itself. But that was likely due to the enclave's influence within their government and absolutely did not try to seek a long term option that would benefit the american public as a whole. Probably thanks to their cooperation with vault tec. Which would make even more sense if by Epicnate's word is correct and that they did infact initiate nuclear war. Meaning the enclave was planning on the world blowing up.

At 6:10 you question whether you're overthinking a skill book placement, but at the exact same moment I was amazed by the realization that I'd been IGNORING the placement of items such as these and the stories the level designers were trying to tell through them! Countless times I've picked up a skill book and thought "huh, neat" and just keep right on moving.

When I first read some of the names and entries at mama dolces (John Johnson) I thought they were just extremely over the top American names consistent with the lore. Only recently did the enclave quests and were told they were Chinese spies using these hilariously obvious names. Fallout 76 is very underrated and if anyone loves this series it is a must play

15:30 to me its honestly pretty interesting to think that the nuke you see in the Fallout 4 intro, the nuke that essentially killed your family along with your world, was fired by a crew you can help even going so far as to somewhat befriend the commander who literally gave the order to launch the missiles.

I definitely think it’s a nice little roleplay opportunity. You can either be the bitter angry vet/vet’s wife who wants revenge on the crew for basically ruining his life, or you can be the traumatized and overwhelmed vet/vet’s wife who realizes that at the end of the day, everyone has suffered from the Great War and for the most part was just a pawn in a larger game.

I'm pretty sure with China's megacities getting wiped out that they've been reduced to nomadic tribes of ghouls and cattle herders, with CCP remnants vying for power while the remaining US power armor troops continue the war efforts, slaughtering the few remaining Chinese people. If the East Coast BoS was willing to nuke the Institute for basically nothing, I don't see why U.S. power armor soldiers wouldn't be hunting Chinese for fun.
edit: I wonder what they call Yao Guais in China, if they even have them...also I'd love to see the rise of a nomadic horse rider culture taking over like the Mongols or the Huns.
