Real estate speculation by foreigners is making impossible for locals to buy or rent a house

Hi Johnny, i went to visit Portugal last month and whether it is a nice place, i found it quite behind respect other Ue countries. Infrastructure and transport is backward at least 20 years respect Spain, per example.
Maybe for retiring is cool, but for a productive life i see more opportunities in other countries.
Let’s see what your next video says on that !!

Thanks for watching Valentino! I tend to agree with your comments and it's especially visible in Lisbon. The narrow streets are difficult to navigate when there are crowds, roads are chaos and whilst there is a metro the connecting stations always seem to be inconveniently located. Anyways, rant over and still a nice city 😅

Yes I live there and it’s quite underdeveloped compared to Spain and France. Thankfully I am moving out soon! 🎉

Taxes in Spain are insane, I would pick Portugal

This was my #1 retirement destination, but no longer since they changed the NHR tax breaks for retirement income. Other EU countries have more to offer now.
