They need such companies desperately, although moving forward there might not be as high a demand as before ( because of scraping the NHR )...I just bought a ruin there and am currently building, ...if the government was smart they would offer some kind of program for renovation of properties falling apart / rural areas...to kind of help refurbish the landscape but offer the properties first to Portugese in all fairness then others can buy ( like France does I believe ) .

But always, the buyers dictate the price..doesn't matter what the seller asks, if there is few buyers, then the price drops... if there's more buyers the price goes up... have you ever been a seller?
