The hardest would probably be a hiver drone in the one start where you only have one arm in the desert since the holy nation hates you, you have really weak limbs, you only have one arm and are in the desert which is teeming with skimmers, you can still be eaten alive unlike skeletons, and you cannot talk to the hive villages because they see you as no hive.
i did that for fun and called the save file masochist really good time really not trying to brag but once u sink a few hundred hours in the game even hiver drones are easy trained my dude to 92 str and made him learn M.A

Difference between the two games. Outward uses your own skill. In kenshi. It doesnt matter how good YOU are as a player. Your character is the one fighting and hes shit (to start with)
Outward is a walking sim, and yeah sure, ypu will get your shit rocked, but there's a point where that stops Kenshi on the other hand, makes it clear your a nobody, it dosnt matyer what or who you are, your on the bottom of the food chain, and even after you get a base, high end gear, and max research, you can still get dominant if your not careful

On our way back towards the hun from the swamps my party got attacked by blood spiders in the water. Most of them made it out fine except for this one Hiver that got stuck in the water and nearly died because almost none of my other characters could get to him. Good luck when exploring Holy Nation territories and exploring Venge btw
eh H.N territories are mid not much in them except ARMOR KING! (wend) but even then you can bypass them the only reason one would want to go there is to be able to grow green fruit
@@kir0726 nah skeleton mitigates a lot of the major threats in the game. immune to weather effects, no hunger, cant be eaten or skinned, low bleed rate, can damn near instant heal cut wounds, more limb health. significantly easier race compared to any of the others
you want a pro tip? get enslaved its a good way to level up some useful skills like lockpicking stealth str laboring assassination toughness-> (cuz ur masters will be beating ur ass all the time lollolol) M.A and they even heal u for FREE not to mention u won't starve because while ur a slave ur hunger meter doesn't go down to lvl str pick and remove ur shackles and keep them in ur inv and let the obedient slave job run its course ur char will keep moving and u will lvl str
can you even die in outward? like have game over screen? i dont remember i ever died in that game. you just get uncon and wake up in random place without your bag or something.
I would say Kenshi is way harder if you don’t constantly reload saves. Once you play outward once it’s pretty easy. And there’s a whole bunch of cheesy builds that avoids any really danger in that game

dude i love slavery! (not irl ffs) its a really good way to train some core stats like lockpicking, stealth, assassination (if u practice on fellow slaves >:D) and of course STRENGH! (u essentially overload urself with shackles then let the obedient slave job auto move ur character of and last but not least...laboring who woulda thought also good way to train M.A as the slavers will keep healing you for FREE i personally like making my untrained chars take a vacation to the rebirth training camp
Kenshi is one of those games that is really hard as a newer player but once youve got enough game knowledge you'll be overpowered real quick.. for example as a skeleton, just head to the fog islands with repair kits and fight the cannibals until they knock you down and stand up infront of em over and over... 100 toughness in literal minutes....
also grab a gorillo or beak thing from vain on your way to mongrel. heal it up, toss it in a bed, save, reload and then make it a punching bag for some melee experience. works better with robot "animals" though, as you can heal them up faster
not optimal you dont level up as much from fighting scrub enemies head to the ashlands like a man if ur a skele u can very easily survive sonorous dark and ashlands just avoid the cleanser units and honestly if u ally skin bandits u can use their repair beds for free good place to get nice weapons and xp
@@DuckInvaders naw game is roughly hard going head first not knowing how the game works. people who go torso only is the exception that want a harden playthrough since you are easily to die in the desert. but yeah single person poor man's is probably a good way to play it. you don't have any skills nor ability to defend yourself. its like skyrim the more often you do something you increase your skill. so overall its really all dependent on how you grind your skills.
Rock Bottom is easy, even if you're not stealing and not mining. It puts you neat Stoat, just stay near town and skim off the guards until you have enough money and gear to go to Heng or Heft and get yourself an arm The desert overall has weak enemies in small groups, so it's easy to train. To get started tho you can literally just stay a guy that the cops beat up and just use him as a training dummy. The challenge there comes from the United Cities and the Slavers, which are easy enough to avoid but are punishing if you're caught Try the cannibal hunter start and stay in cannibal country

Honestly for me it's Kenshi. I've tried Outward, twice, and I swear I didn't like the game at all. Especially the carry weight system in Outward is just atrocious, which made me just quit the game kinda instantly.

Don't know who you are, but... I'm enjoying kenshi a lot more than outward so far. Outward wasn't just hard... It's was straight up unfair most of the time. But at least it has a lot more polish than kenshi, and there's a storyline to actually follow. I MIGHT give it another shot, but... I dunno, it made me sad.
The thing with kenshi, it doesn't have a storeline/main quest because your a nobody. Your not a long lost son to an emperor, your not given magical abilities, nothing. In kenshi, your a nobody, and if you want to be a somebody, you have to get your ass handed to you for months before you can even think about fighting back and winning And even then, your story is yours, you can build a grand empire that rivals everyone else, hunt down the legendary bounties, or even just do a themed run/challenge, not to mention the pages and pages of lore of 2 empires that came before you

If you wanted a real hard experience you should have been one of the humanoids. Skeletons dont need to eat so youre literally removing one of the biggest long term obstacles in the game.
Skeletons are piss easy tf are people talking about, nobody is trying to eat you and healing is quick with repair bed. Just camp in burn's tower and fight iron spiders to level up

difficulty by save mechanics is lame. You can always role play a perma death condition in your mind and start a new save. it's irrelevant to the difficulty discussion.
Kenshi feels unfinished. The game has many flaws. It is harsh at the very beginning, but that's about it. And I'd strongly advice you not to steal anything in this game and really try to make your money by selling what you produce, otherwise you'll spoil the only challenge/fun there is, which is having enough money to buy what you want. Kenshi does have (had?) a potential of being an amazing game, but I guess something went wrong. The whole concept of being the master of your own story feels very empty around mid game. to be fair skeletons are basically the easy mode of the game.
Yea its a fact its kenshi, its not an opinion, but a fact.
Don't know who you are, but... I'm enjoying kenshi a lot more than outward so far. Outward wasn't just hard... It's was straight up unfair most of the time. But at least it has a lot more polish than kenshi, and there's a storyline to actually follow. I MIGHT give it another shot, but... I dunno, it made me sad.
The thing with kenshi, it doesn't have a storeline/main quest because your a nobody.
Your not a long lost son to an emperor, your not given magical abilities, nothing. In kenshi, your a nobody, and if you want to be a somebody, you have to get your ass handed to you for months before you can even think about fighting back and winning
And even then, your story is yours, you can build a grand empire that rivals everyone else, hunt down the legendary bounties, or even just do a themed run/challenge, not to mention the pages and pages of lore of 2 empires that came before you

If you wanted a real hard experience you should have been one of the humanoids. Skeletons dont need to eat so youre literally removing one of the biggest long term obstacles in the game.

Skeletons are piss easy tf are people talking about, nobody is trying to eat you and healing is quick with repair bed. Just camp in burn's tower and fight iron spiders to level up

Outward definitely. Dark Souls has a steep learning curve, but it isn't permanent death, so not even close
difficulty by save mechanics is lame. You can always role play a perma death condition in your mind and start a new save. it's irrelevant to the difficulty discussion.

Kenshi feels unfinished. The game has many flaws. It is harsh at the very beginning, but that's about it. And I'd strongly advice you not to steal anything in this game and really try to make your money by selling what you produce, otherwise you'll spoil the only challenge/fun there is, which is having enough money to buy what you want. Kenshi does have (had?) a potential of being an amazing game, but I guess something went wrong. The whole concept of being the master of your own story feels very empty around mid game. Kenshi is harder by a mile, Outward is easy AF once you figure out the mechanics. Kenshi is just janky as hell but still awesome
