We just did this loop! Multiple other passes and a trip to Moab. That’s such an amazing area. Silveryton is a great little town, great work once again!
Hi five to you for helping out that gentleman. I remember when you helped the other gentleman get his bmw down off the pass a while back. Great video. Made me a bit homesick as I lived & worked in South Fork, & Creede, Colorado a number of years.
Colorado is so beautiful. I could easily spend a summer there exploring all the passes, national parks and back roads. Thanks for sharing your adventures
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but man! You really do inspire me to get out and do more. I have a klx 300 amd have done the mabdr and the sm500 but REALLY want to explore out in Colorado. I lived there for 10 years but wasn't into motorcycles at the time, but did not of offroading in those areas. One day! I'd love to ride with you. Thank you for the continued inspiration!
Awesome prayer. I have been on the receiving and giving side of divine moments as well. I will add a prayer for wisdom to recognize a need and make a difference.
Fun vid...thanks. Good to see a little practical footage of the Husky. Loving my EXC but my 990 is getting a bit old in the tooth and that Norden is on the radar. Thanks for dropping the vid. Cheers from the Wasatch Range.
Well dropped my recliner in that creek but managed to drain the water out of it and made the rest of the trip with you. You’re a good man there Brock. You never leave a rider in need. Although you do make me wait 7 more days to the next adventure! Must be a law against that somewhere. Ride on my friend. PS. You didn’t take the new 700 to CO?
Brock, hope when I need a little help I run into you or someone like you on the trail! Awesome stuff! Keep it up! We finished this years ride in telluride CO on the TAT. That’s were we will start back next year and plan to do the rest of Colorado and Utah. We may actually finish the TAT depending our schedule. So with your videos of the area, Your already helping us out. Love these videos!
Brock, it looks like you took the VERY WESTERN Mineral Creek Trail down to the Million Dollar Hwy. I stumbled onto that while solo riding my KTM 790R over Engineer Pass. Fortunately I made it down without braking anything. Keep on making videos!
I had only researched Lake City to the top of Engineer Pass. I didn't know anything about Mineral Creek except on the map it was the shortest way to get to Ouray. I'll take Animas Forks next time!
Great video! Was there in 2020 on DR 650 that wasn’t jetted correctly 😀… Looking forward to going back on my “new to me” Honda 450 L! Have you ever done a gear review? It may help “road” guys converting to dual sport riding, including myself😀
@@MotoMission. I guess the gear that people may not be able to see… Do you just wear Motocross boots? I come from the road and my Klim gear has D30 armour in the jacket and pants… You mentioned knee pads, are they braces or pads? Do you wear elbow pads, chest protection, neck protection? It would appear that you just wear a dirt bike pants and jersey…. Maybe talk about hydration ? We usually stop and get a water bottle out of a tank bag… Some off road guys guys wear a back pack with a water bag integrated that you can drink while riding… Maybe I’m the only “old road guy” that would have these questions…? When I was in Ouray in 2020, I had road gear on… wished I would’ve known there are alternatives for “ dual sport” riding. Which can be different than what some call Adventure riding… I dig your channel and wish you nothing but the best moving forward… Thanks, Brian
I love it when you have Awny (Aunie, not sure how you write it) on; she's so chill and awesome. I know these aren't chronological. What time of year are we looking at here while going through the Alpine loop?
Hey Brock! Great video! I met you during the GOAT event in Oklahoma back in April. Walter (who you met at the event as well)and I are planning to ride out from Kansas City to Ouray end of September. Approximately how long did it take you to do the full alpine loop? Thx Man!
I rode Engineer and Cinamon Pass. I recommend riding up from 2 and turn back at the top. The ride into Lake City down the back side of Engineer is boring , as is the ride from LC up Cinamon. You waste too much time on the back sides. Spend your time exploring the many gulches. I have posted videos from many of the other climbs on my page. Great views no matter where you are riding in the Silverton area. Thanks for the video.
@@MotoMission. I agree but when time is limited, and not to mention my budget, you need to pick the most scenic and the passes and gulches add more bang for the buck. I plan to go back and ride more as soon as I get my new house in order.
@@MotoMission. Brock. It’s true you were not far from me in Florida a couple days ago ago .so be on the lookout folks touring your city soon ,only if it has dirt roads
Best riding explorer channel on the tubeyou!
Wow, thanks!
For sure! Awesome, Brock!
@@ninjazxd I agree
Agree!
Absolutely.

That is awesome! Best places ever
When you pulled in and saw each other i could see the love. Awesome.

Oh yeah. That’s right. I didn’t think about it. Yes. You are right.
Colorado is so beautiful. I could easily spend a summer there exploring all the passes, national parks and back roads. Thanks for sharing your adventures
Just sell everything and move there !
Hey! We were right there with ya. We passed ya all week. I was on the blue Africa Twin. Good riding! Thanks for sharing your adventures
Ah man. Should have stopped and grabbed lunch and cappuccino
This whole area is a must. Great job on all your videos Sir!
Much appreciated! I love that place
Found your channel by chance. When you stopped and helped that guy with the flooded bike I knew I had a favorite new brother to watch! The manatees 🤣😂
Cool, thanks! And be careful of those manatees this time of year

Ahhhh yeah. You gotta go. It’s epic.
Maybe next summer you can join me
@@MotoMission. I am in!
@MotoMission. Also, what knee protection do you use? You should do a gear list episode for the different types of riding you do!
Your positivity and humor is awesome! Bless you, brother!
I appreciate that. Thanks for watching
Fabulous scenery and what a blessing to be able to use your experience to help other riders in a pinch.
An unbelievable day on the mountain !
Hey Brock! Great meeting you! (Dante from the campground). Great video as always! You really captured the essence of the Alpine Loop!
Dude. So good to meet you guys. Thank you for saying hello. That was awesome to meet your guys. How was your trip ?
@@MotoMission. Epic is often an overused word, but truly warranted when describing the Alpine Loop!
Glad to see the wildflowers are coming back.
I brought my wife there a few years ago and she wiped them out.
You can’t take her anywhere
That’s awesome! New concerts to adventure riding!
Really enjoyed this one, Brock. I rode that route from Engineer down to Ouray on the DR650 doing the TAT. Has some narl to it.
Yeah. It’s gonna challenge ya
Awesome prayer. I have been on the receiving and giving side of divine moments as well. I will add a prayer for wisdom to recognize a need and make a difference.
Wonderful!
Man, what a good ride !!!! Maybe I should go through there on my way to Utah 🤔? Absolutely breath taking!!!
You should! Unforgettable
It's still one of my favorite rides.
Heck yeah.
Three friends and I will be in Ouray first of September to ride. Great video.
Gonna love it.
I did this exact loop last week with my grandpa it’s so beautiful in silverton

@@MotoMission. definitely! Next year hopefully we are able to bring bikes to ride instead that’s the plan
Nice, us motorcycle guys look out for each other .

Another epic ride. I was hoping to hear Howard Cosell say down goes Frazier
I will ask him. :)
Bucket list ride right there.

Stunning vistas, Brock! Riding skills unlocked. God is good!
Sure is! Love this place
That is Mineral Creek you helped those 2 bikers on. That trail is no joke!
Tough one. It was my first time. I enjoyed it. Can’t wait to do again
Absolutely awesome 👏
Big thanks
Beautiful scenery!!!
Thanks. Hey I just found one of your stickers on an old bus in the wilderness

Go right now !!!!
Awesome Brock
We just came back to Michigan from that area and wish I had ridden my 690 on the Alpine loop now. Maybe next year.
You must !
Glad they took the warning seriously. Those manatees get vicious and unpredictable during migration. Thanks for keeping everyone safe!
I’m here to help. I take this seriously.

So good to hear that. Yall finish it when you can. It’s epic
Great video Broc! You're in my neck of woods. Have fun and GOD bless! IMO the T7 looks way better than the Norden.
Ahhhhh. Yeah I do love th t7
Manatee also feed on rocky mountain oysters, so another good reason to stay out of the water .
Yeah. Those Rocky Mountain rosters are irresistible for manatees. Stay away from water !!!
Brock, you need to give your editor a high five. Great work man. So fun!!
