Everybody hating on their new albums but honestly everything is good for what it is. Sure atlas/ire/reverence aren't the 'classic' PWD sound but fuck it some of their songs slap. The solo in Blue and the Grey is amazing, and Bottom Feeder is pretty heavy. I don't have much to say about reverence but I'm glad that they are still active.

I love PWD, one of my favorite bands, they died after Atlas, yes, Ire was "good" but didn't sound like PWD. I know bands evolve and we can't expect another horizons.

EggCore same thing happened with whitechapel too, they went from deathcore to like a chuggy djent style deathcore band but without the progressive metal influence making a lot of the songs pretty boring mid tempo chugfests

@@staticslammedblazer if you can play anything then you know they were never that technical, and definitely haven't lost any of it, all the core kids just can't accept that maybe a band wants to write something more interesting and meaningful than more metalcore, since that genre is so insanely saturated
@@lawsont4396 Tbh I think the scene is moving toward djent-core and there's a dire need for old school metalcore to make a comeback.
Seems like the riffs got easier to play live along with more crowd pleasing/chanting vocals.

I love old parkway, I got into this band on sleepwalker and I’ve never stopped listening. But they were getting dated. New parkway might be a little cheesy, but it’s not something I can see ageing poorly. Boneyards will always be a masterpiece, but show some love for Vice Grip as well, dudes. It’s still parkway, just evolved for the sake of art.

My favorite band! Horizons and Deep blue are masterpieces. KWAS is awesome, but not as polished as Horizons. Atlas is really good, but definitely different than anything before it. I don't like how their last 2 albums are full of "Power ballad" like riffs. I wish they would go back to their hardcore and metalcore style.
